Matt Seraphim’s Tale–Backstory

Hi all,
Thanks for taking the time to read my stories. As the stories with Matt/Seraphim are really gap fillers between a trio that I had written quite a while ago I figured it’d be best to write a background for you since the originals aren’t posted (and one was never finished and one was lost in a PC crash…but that’s not the point). Lately I’ve been thinking about the stories I’ve created and realized that they can and probably should be done in a more adult format than what I initially did them in, so instead of rewriting them I figured I’d fill in the gaps (or expand on some) with the more extreme stuff.
If I you have a copyright to these characters and a problem, let me know and I’ll see what I can do to change it. If you have no copyright to these characters but they are very similar to ones you’ve come up with talk to me, I might not change them but I’ll at least give a shout out to you (although I should warn you some of these ideas have been around since 2000). If you just don’t like what I’ve created, learn to live with disappointment.

Universe Sources:
This universe is really an amalgam of many many different universes, so if I’m referencing something that seems familiar to you more than likely it is.
It’s basically Earth in a Marvel/DC universe setup, there’s a growing mutant/metahuman population. No magic at the beginning but as the story progresses I sort of combine Shadowrun in and Magic/Magical beings (elves, dwarfs, trolls, demons/devils, angels/celestials, animal-humanoids) come back from where ever they were banished to. I also combined elements from Neon Genesis Evangelion (around what would be the 1999), but the large mecha units were paired with a mutant/metahuman as well. Some time later I took elements from the X story from Clamp with the Dragons of Earth being for the most part real dragons.
Main Characters:
Matt/Seraphim (I apologize in advance for the pronoun problems, it’s usually either Matt or Seraphim in the stories)
Age: varies between stories but pretty much starts at 18-19 and goes till 150-200
Height: Matt-5’9” Seraphim-5’7
Build: Matt-average Seraphim-average with a large bust, then it gets bigger
Sexual Orientation: straight to bi
Hair: Black; Matt-short cut, Seraphim-ass length long and straight

Powers:
Matt: Amazing reflexes, wall crawling, repulsion from hand and feet (up to several tons…upper limit as growing up was tested to be a tank but no upper limit has been found since then)
Seraphim: the gambit of mental powers, telekinesis, telepathy, mind probe, mind blast. After the merge mental powers decrease for a strong magical talent, non-telekinesis flight, pheromones, minor shape changing.
Shared powers: immortality with regeneration, cosmic uniqueness (does not appear in the cosmic balance of power)
Weakness (no individual weaknesses):
Besides being socially inert in the beginning Matt found that he was unable to change while heavily aroused. This also has tends to cloud Seraphim’s mental powers they require concentration. Since super-strength are not one of powers either has, binding usually keeps either secured as long as Seraphim is not able to use her telekinesis to undo the bindings or Matt is not able to crush them by repulsing from opposite directions. It should be noted that after the merge the sexual weakness is diminished, but Seraphim’s need/desire for sex increases. Once you get her ready to go she’ll take over and ride you until she’s done. Seraphim also gains power from sex with any living creature upon orgasm (theirs), this reenergizes her magic, feeds her, and can actually give her a temporary boost in power. With that said, sex with toys/robots (anything with out a life force…or unlife force for undead) nets her no additional power and is a slight loss for her.
Background: Matt/Seraphim was born in the 1970’s and as a hermaphrodite. Due to an argument by the parents it was decided to not force one gender on him/her. But that did not stop each parent from tried to turn him/her into the gender they wanted (Matthew was choosen for his/her first name and Seraphim was the middle name), as a result Matt became an very gender confused child picking up some traits from both. At the age of 10 though things got worse, puberty kicked in and unleashed his/her latent mutant powers. Overnight Matt awoke as just Seraphim but alas it did not last by the end of breakfast Seraphim was curled up on the floor due to the pain as her hair receded and out of her vagina sproughted a penis and closed up. Seraphim had become Matt. The transformations took place every 30mins over the next week, after the first hour though Matt was taken to the hospital where he/she stayed for the duration of the week. During that time representatives from the government paid his/her family a visit, offering to take him/her off the parents hands to train him/her to control the transformations. Without a second though they jumped at the chance deciding they were better off without the now more freakish child, Matt/Seraphim never saw them again and by the age of 18 forgot all about them (partially due to a feeling of abandonment and condition).
Matt/Seraphim began his/her new life in a secret government training area (using Matt when in male form and Seraphim when in female form) where he/she received training to become a weapon. Powers were discovered, control was gained, and skills were learned. Sadly one that the center could not adequately teach were real world social skills, as you train a weapon (or agent as the paperwork suggested) basic interaction does not come easily.
Like most weapons on Matt/Seraphim’s first assignment ended in disaster. He/she was sent to college on the guise to recruit a powerful young woman named Cleopatra. Failing to sway Cleo his/her orders were to kill Cleo. Cleo would not join and Matt/Seraphim could not bring it upon him/her self to kill her (it is unknown even to Matt/Seraphim if it was because he/she fell in love with her or if the conditioning just snapped and morality took over). Attempting to flee with Cleo, Cleo was killed (naturally) before they made it out of the dorms, in a blind rage Seraphim leveled the building killing the other agents as well as many of the inhabitants as well. The government attempted to capture Matt/Seraphim but after about a half dozen failures wrote the attempt off.
Matt/Seraphim made his/her way to Japan which had put a call out for any mutants who would head its call to fight against the Angels. Matt/Seraphim followed and became partnered with Eva unit 1. A female Asian mutant named Sunfire, also under the employ (and partnered with Unit-2) fell in love with Seraphim during that time but since our hero/heroine can’t have a happy life Sunfire was corrupted by the Angels forcing Seraphim to kill her while Unit-1 was able to stop the last Angel.
Matt/Seraphim wandered for 20+ years getting involved in skirmishes here or there, fighting villains super and non. Matt/Seraphim eventually got captured by a pair of Succubi after seeing his/her unending source of power. Matt/Seraphim was sexually enthralled for months before a powerful spell to totally bend him/her to their will went awry causing one of them to fuse with Seraphim. This diminished Seraphim’s mental powers but she gained a mastery over magic as well as many of the traits natural to Succubi (the ability to change features to make herself more attractive, aphrodisiac pheromones, leathery wings out of her back and top of her head, the back wings also have minor shape changing properties and can be used as a lifelike dildo or tentacles as needed). Also Seraphim found that the part of the Succubus’ mind integrated with hers causing her to ‘play’ with her enemies more.
Matt/Seraphim made another trip back to Japan after having a vision of apocalyptic nature. There he/she fought along side the 7 Dragons of the Heavens against the 7 Dragons of the Earth who wished to remake the world in their image. There he/she meet his/her one true love, a Dragon of the Heavens named Lei-Lei. Their time was brief
as she did not live past the final battle.
Matt/Seraphim wandered for quite a while once again, and ended up ‘saving’ a catgirl from a rape plant. She eventually became something of a sidekick and Matt/Seraphim’s last true friend (with benefits).
His/Her final tale on this realm takes place in the 22nd century as the Dragons of Earth’s backup plan was put into motion. The creature gained power as you hurt it. On a time crunch Matt/Seraphim transferred his/her healing ability (which apparently was directly linked with his immortality) into the creature causing it to whither and die, but not before it had caused a massive amounts of damage to Matt/Seraphim.
Matt/Seraphim awoken on the road to the afterlife, upon walking down it for days a car pulled up with Lei-Lei at the wheel. Jumping in they speed off to spend the rest of their days together.
Brief timeline:
Mid 1970’s: Matt/Seraphim born
Mid 1980’s: Matt/Seraphim given up to the government at the relief of the parents, who are never seen again.
1990’s (mid-late): Matt/Seraphim goes on to college and received his/her first mission, ending in failure and Matt/Seraphim is now on the run from the government.
1999: Matt/Seraphim ends up in Japan to help with the Angel attack, after this magic is reintroduced into the world.
2000’s: Magic is studied and refined in power, magical beings are also being born to normal parents. Some humans/mutants spontaneously change in to their hidden celestial or demonic forms (unknown to them at the time). Dragons enter the world some take up power in large corporations or countries, others hide among the humans and manipulate for their own power.
Mid 2010’s: Matt/Seraphim is captured by Succubi, ending in Seraphim merging with one
Late 2010’s-Early 2020’s: Dragon War in Japan, Matt/Seraphim is involved under the Heaven side, but not as a actual Dragon of Heaven. Dragons of Earth loose, back up plan initiated
Late 2090’s: last surviving member of the Dragons of Heaven dies from natural causes.
Early 2020’s-Mid 21xx’s: Matt/Seraphim rescues a catgirl from some back alley rape plants
Mid 21xx’s: Dragon of Earth backup plan is initiated.
Mid 21xx’s – Late 21xx’s: Dragon of Earth plan almost comes to fruition but is stopped due to Matt/Seraphim’s self sacrifice.
Other characters:
Lei-Lei (Dragon of Heaven):
Hsien-ko from the Darkstalkers video games, Lei-Lei is what she is called in the Japanese versions. She’s a Chinese Hopping Zombie. Falls in love with Matt/Seraphim during Dragon War. Meets up with him/her in the afterlife.
Succubi:
All are going to pretty much be like Morrigan and Lilith from the Darkstalkers video games.
Dragons:
Real dragons (wings, fire breathing, magic affinity…the works), infinite resources and if you believe them infinite power. The usually have minions do what needs to be done, if a Dragon comes to your house personally…watch out.
Catgirls:
Pretty much run the gambit of types, from Felicia (Darkstalkers…noticing a theme here) with hair that usually covers the important bits, and paws instead of hands to mostly hairless and pawless catgirls who only really have a tail, cat ears and little cat fangs.
Sabrina:
Matt/Seraphim’s catgirl friend that he/she rescued from a rape plant or two. She’s got mostly black fur that covers her body with grey around the ears/head. Sabrina loves milk, in all forms. Her nose is sensitive enough to pick up on the scent of an opened gallon half a mile away. She is a very sexual creature with a body with curves in all the right places including a 38 D bust and a very limber tail, some probably think that she got herself caught in the rape plant because she hadn’t been laid in days. Since tagging along with Matt/Seraphim though she now gets all she can handle.
Most other important hero/heroines from the various continuities are there, or at least easily faked if I think the creators will sue. If I mention one of your characters and you don’t want them in, let me know I’ll remove them.
Likewise if something in my universe intrigues you let me know, I’d be more than happy to share the universe. Plenty can happen that I’ve not figured out yet.
