Chapter 10- Racing Towards Midnight

“Come on, there are lives at stake!!!!!” yelled Whisper.

“Doctor, you have to remember something. She fell through a trap door that is now gone! You must try to remember everything you’ve seen.” Asked Lightning.

Dragon was frantically searching for the trap door that somehow still eluded the group. She had her costume back on. It had been in the room thrown on the floor in a corner.

“I don’t know! There’s nothing here to go on, he wiped everything out and kept me locked up so that I would have no knowledge of anything!” replied Dr. Reiner.

Lightning stood there and thought. There is a trap door somewhere, and there has to be an entrance to what they call the catacombs. She would have just used her power to blast through the floor but she was still weak and not strong enough. The combination of the brutal rape and soaking had depleted her. “Think!” she thought.

Dr. Reiner was pacing like a lunatic. Finally he stopped “Wait, wait a minute –he fed the thing. He fed it, and there was some kind of steel door there. Why didn’t I remember that! I saw it when he showed me the beast.”

Whisper knew why he didn’t remember. Her power caused a short-term form of amnesia in the men she used her power on.

“Let’s go,” replied Whisper. She turned in the direction Dragon was.“Dragon, we’ve got it!”

The Doctor led them back through the hallway Cloud had escaped through. He rapidly raced down the stairs two at a time and they seemed to have descended 5 flights before they finally came to a steel door.

“Lightning, do you think you can burn through it?” asked Whisper. “It looks like solid steel and I don’t know how long it might take to break through it?”

“I’ll try. Stand Back.” Lightning stood in front of the door and pointed her fists at the solid steel door. Nothing happened.  “Damn. Not yet.” She said as she stood there resigned in the white lab coat that had replaced her shredded costume.

“Why isn’t this door open? Everything else opened when you threw the main.” Asked Dragon.

“If you saw that thing you wouldn’t want that door to open no matter what happened, trust me.” Said the Doctor.

He looked at the three women and said very quietly. “My wife and son are down there. Please, I am begging you, please save them. They’re all I have.”

Dragon looked at the door and hurled herself towards it. Her shoulder connected with a clang and the door dented a little. Next was Whisper. She tried the same approach and the door pressed further inward.

The three heroines took turns throwing their bodies at the door frantically in order to save the doctors family and the life of the young woman. Finally the three of them stood in front of the bashed metal door, raised their legs as one and kicked. The steel door flew off of its hinges and slammed down into darkness.

Suddenly a small body was flying through the door. Dragon cocked her fist back and was about to strike the small figure when it yelled “Daddy!!!!” and jumped into the Doctors arms. A woman then appeared in the doorway and ran towards the man and his son. Dragon relaxed her fist and smiled, the family was intact.

Lightning stepped forward and said “Did you see a woman down there?”

The woman turned and said “Oh God, go, go you have to save her!!! She saved our lives! She’s trapped with that, that …thing.”

Lightning closed her eyes and lifted off of the ground-her power had returned. Before anyone could say anything she disappeared into the darkness like a bolt of lightning. She flew into chambers and down corridors as fast as she could. It was reckless she knew, but every second counted. The place was like a medieval dungeon she thought. How horrible to be trapped down here with that thing. She thought of her young friend and flew faster than she thought she was capable of flying.

Lighting entered a chamber and gasped at what she saw. It had taken her breath away.

Midnight lay face down on the table where the creature had left her. Her eyes were closed as her mind scrambled to absorb what she had been through. The thing would come to finish her soon, it wouldn’t wait long, It had probably worked up an appetite, she thought. She had to try to escape. She couldn’t just lay here and not fight.

She turned her head to the side and saw the beast sitting there, it had its eyes closed and seemed to be napping. She got her elbows under her and pushed herself off of the table. Her blood was all over the table and her breasts were smeared with it and had about 20 splinters sticking in them.

“I have to get out of here. Gotta get up.”, the heroine thought. It took every ounce of remaining strength to roll over onto her back. Next she swung her legs so that they were hanging over the floor.

She looked down the length of her body. She could feel the wetness near her vagina and the clump of cum that had slid out of her youthful body. She almost retched at the thought of that thing’s cum inside of her. Her shoulder throbbed where the beast had clawed her, her head pounded from being smacked against the table and from the pressure of the things paw pressing against the side of her head. She was a mess.

“Got to….have to…. move…before it’s too late…..” she thought. She didn’t think it was possible for her body to hurt more.

She placed her scuffed thigh high boots on the floor and steadied herself. Her pussy burned from the raw pounding it had taken. A normal woman would have never made it she thought-no way. She could already feel her body trying to heal itself, but it was happening much slower than normally. The complete beating she had suffered had weakened her whole system; she had no idea how long it might take to recover.

“Ok” she thought. “Have to move….have to try….”

She stepped forward and her legs immediately gave out on her. Her muscles were dead from having been stretched and yanked on. Her body had nothing left and she collapsed in a heap on the hard floor with a grunt.

She looked up and into the eyes of her tormentor. The beast was standing over her baring its fangs.

The pile of bones was something Lightning had nothing to compare to. It was unlike anything she had ever seen before. It was huge and reached almost to the ceiling. Midnight was nowhere to be found. “What horror has this girl seen?” Thought Lightning. “She’s a tough girl, if anyone could survive this it’s her.”  Determined more than ever she levitated and raced down the corridor.

Midnight had nothing left. She raised her arm to block the monsters attack. Her green eyes widened as the beast opened its jaws even more. Suddenly there was a strange feeling in the stale air of the chamber followed by a crackling, snapping sound and the creature flew backwards and smashed into the wall. Its huge chest had burst into flames and it was howling and screaming in pain. Smoke wafted in the air from the things burning flesh and the stench of burning hair filled the room. The thing jumped up and raced across the room towards the grate that Midnight had yanked on 2 hours earlier. It ripped it off its frame in one powerful yank and disappeared up into the chute.

Midnight looked towards the door of the chamber with glassy eyes, she saw what looked to be a beautiful angel with blond hair dressed in white floating above the ground. The angel reached her hand towards her. Midnight reached for the hand and thought this must be what happens when you go to heaven.
