Tales of Carrion Mansion. Episode 18.

Encountering problems with her stepbrother, Mindy McConnell had gone to help her friend Elvira babysit. In retrospect it was a mistake. So far tonight Mindy has been musically tickled, turned into a fairy, attacked by spider men and nearly sacrificed by them, met and made love to Calliope the Were-mouse, found, freed, imagined bodies for, and named two more fairies, and when we last left her she was riding a silver Malibu Stacy mustang through a cloud of poison gas.

part 5

"I'm not evil.
I'm just morally challenged."

Mindy McConnell woke slowly to a world filled with fading pain. Her skin seemed to crawl around on her body, as if it wanted to free it's self from the muscles and organs. Mindy didn't open her eyes right away. Instead, instinctively she sought to view the world through her antennae. The picture that came to her was a diffused one. She was in some sort of tub, her body resting in a mud-like substance that smelled vaguely familiar. The mud covered her entire body, only her face was above it. Above it, but still smeared with it. Realizing her antenna were covered with the stuff as well Mindy opened her eyes. Her vision was blurred at first, but cleared rapidly. She looked up at bars. They stretched vertically and horizontally all around her.
I'm a prisoner, Mindy thought. The realization did not really bother her. The last thing the transformed young girl remembered she had been riding into a cloud of acid smelling death. To wake up at all was a positive point.
"How are you feeling?" Calliope asked, filling her field of vision. Calliope was a were mouse, with black hair that was cut like Moe's from the Three Stooges. Her wide eyes, slanted in the manor of her oriental heritage, rested above a small snout with a little pink nose on the end of it. Large mouse-like ears quivered slightly.
"I don't know." Mindy said. In fact she really wasn't sure, the pain was nearly gone. Her skin had apparently decided to stay on her body.
"Keep resting in there, the raspberry should help draw out the poison."
"Raspberry?"
"Jack said that only raspberry could save you." Calliope said, smearing a little more on Mindy's antennae.
"I'm in a tub full of raspberry jelly?"
"No." Calliope said, her ears starting to quiver faster. "The supermarket was closed so my aunt ran down to the doughnut shop."
"I'm lying in a raspberry doughnut?"
"Aye." Jack said, appearing on the other side of her. "We were fortunate the Huggable Doughnut shop is open all night."
"Raspberry jelly is curing me? What hit me?" Mindy asked. She was still half asleep, her mind working as if it had lead weights tied to it.
"Raid Yard Guard." Calliope said. "My aunt uses it when those spider things attack me."
"Oh." Mindy looked at Jack. Tall, broad shouldered with black hair and a neatly trimmed beard, he looked fine. "Why weren't you hit?"
"I was thrown into a puddle of oil when the car overturned." Jack said. "It shielded me from the poison."
"Makes sense." Mindy said. Her body was beginning to feel strange. It was like her legs were dissolving into the jelly. Mindy reached down and felt them, just to be sure. Yes, they were still there. "What about Jill?" "She lives," Jack said, "but beyond that I do not know."
"She may have been caught." Mindy tried to rise, but found there was little strength in her to move. At any rate the jelly was too slick and the doughnut to soft, she couldn't get a grip to lever herself out of it. It reminded Mindy of the time she and Elvira had been trapped in a giant vat of frosting.
"Easy." Calliope said, pushing her back down. The were-mouse reached in and scooped up a little of the jelly, smearing it on Mindy's face. "We're not going anywhere?"
"Why not?"
"Well for one thing we're in a cage, besides that the Yard Guard lingers for a while."
"Calliope?" A voice said. Mindy focused her eyes and and saw a tall slim woman with red hair looking at them. She was an attractive woman. About 50, Mindy thought, judging from the lines on her face. The face was sharp, angular, but still somewhat attractive. Judging from the blush and eyeliner it was the face of someone who constantly looked in the mirror. Gray roots had begun to show in the hair. The woman wore a white robe cleaved down to her waist, but she was too slim to have any real cleavage. Cool hazel eyes looked down at them. "Your friend doing alright?"
"Yes Auntie." Calliope said, in a tone that didn't seem right to Mindy. It was a completely subservient voice, with none of Calliope's normal joy.
"Your the evil aunt?" Mindy asked.
"Is she still calling me that?" The woman asked, her voice light but her eyes growing hard. "Calliope what is my name?" "Casey Chappel, Auntie." Calliope said, shivering slightly.
"Am I evil?"
"No Auntie."
"What am I?"
"Morally challenged." Calliope said, her head drooping forward.
It was a routine, Mindy realized. Calliope was reciting something learned by rote.
"That's better dear." Casey said. "Remember this is America, it's all in how you say it." Casey reached into the cage and picked Jack up, pulling him out. "Come on little guy, I got some plans for you."
Rage started to fuel Mindy, both at the way Casey had treated Calliope, and at the way she was holding Jack. But even as she tried to rise the rage faded back into exhaustion and she blacked out.

The next time Mindy woke it was to a softly singing voice. Calliope's voice singing the theme song to the Muppet Show. Mindy sat up, feeling better at last, and looked around. It was large as cages go, maybe 4 feet by 4 feet, with bars that were just too small to squeeze through. The floor of the cage was a deep blue plush shag carpet. At one end of the cage was a Malibu Stacy bed time set, the Camelot model with princess canopy bed, a large oak (Well ok, plastic that looked like oak) chest and a table with chair. On the table was a pile of scrolls and an inkwell with quill pen. A mirror was set into the bars further along the cage, next to it stood a rack of clothing. Beside that was a small table and sewing machine. Beyond that was a couch, coffee table (again, Malibu Stacy, this time the 50's set) and a small LCD tv. At the far end of the cage was a small kitchen, to the left of that was a curtained off area. Mindy and the doughnut were on a porcelain plate set in the center.
Calliope sat in front of the tv.
"Calliope?" Mindy asked. She was feeling ok physically, but her mind was still on shaky ground.
"Hi." Calliope muted the tv and walked over to her, bending down next to the doughnut. "How are you feeling?" "Ok I guess." Mindy said. She raised her hand and looked at the crimson sheen of jelly that covered it. "But I think I need a shower."
"Auntie said you should wait, she'll only be a few more minutes." Calliope said.
"What's she going to do, put me in the kitchen sink or something?"
"Probably." Calliope shrugged.
"This is nice." Mindy said, looking around at the cage. A part of her wanted get out of the doughnut, but strangely Mindy had never felt more comfortable.
"Yea, Auntie built it for me after I tried to roll a bowling ball onto her head while she was asleep."
"You tried to kill her?"
"Missed her by that much." Calliope said, holding her thumb and forefinger just a little apart. "I shouldn't have, I know."
"Well she did do all that bad stuff to you and your parents." Mindy said, putting her hand on the were-mouses shoulder. "You don't have to feel guilty."
"I don't, I mean I shouldn't have used the bowling ball. I mean it never works for Wyle E. Coyote on the Road Runner. I should have just dumped that battery acid into the her coffee."
"Oh." Mindy said. Just then she saw Casey come into the room through a swinging door. For the first time Mindy looked at the room. It was a living room. On the right side of the room was a large bay window that gave a tremendous view of the Dead Diamond River. At the far end was an overstuffed Victorian couch, with a tv set in front of that. To the right of the swinging kitchen door was an open fireplace with a burning log crackling away. The entire left side of the room was taken up by a built in book case. Casey walked over and put Jack into the cage. He seemed none the worse, what ever she had done to him, infact he now had a tan. Putting him down on the couch she picked up the plate and brought Mindy to eye level.
"Felling better?" Casey asked.
"Yea."
"Oh good. Come one, I'll get you cleaned up."
"She could do with a tan as well." Jack called.
A tan, Mindy wondered?

Casey carried Mindy into the kitchen and set her down on the table. The kitchen was a nice clean kitchen, small with bright yellow paint on the walls, blue and white cabinets above white formica counter tops. Flowered curtains hung on the windows. The light in the room came from a round fluorescent in the center of the ceiling. The ceiling itself was a tin flower pattern. On the stove something simmered in a pot, and on the frigde were shopping list and crayon drawn pictures. Casey put Mindy's plate on the kitchen table. Then she walked over, took a gallon of milk out of the frigde and filled a glass. Humming softly to herself she put the milk back and then walked over and put the glass next to Mindy. More than a vague worry was beginning to form in the young girls mind. But she was helpless to do anything about it. Mindy knew she could never out run Casey, and her wings were currently weighted down with jelly. Flight was impossible.
Still humming to herself Casey took off her robe, revealing the body Mindy would have guessed at. Her breast were small, but pointy with bright red nipples. Her stomach was flat, and Mindy guessed Casey was the type of woman who could never gain weight. But while she wouldn't gain weight, age was taking the color, suppleness and shine from her skin. Casey was in the first stages of shriveling.
Mindy shuddered, thinking of what her body could be like at 50. Age had always been Mindy's greatest fear. A relative, spiteful and full of hate, had once told her that the more beautiful a young woman was, the more ugly she would become when she was old. It was the summer of her growth spurt, when she shot up a foot and her chest developed. Mindy had been so scared and confused the words stayed with her. Elvira and roller blade hockey had gotten Mindy through that time. But nightmares still hit her occasionally.
The tattoo forced Mindy's mind back to the present. Casey's best feature was her long and muscular legs. But at the top of the legs, just above a shaved vagina was a skull and crossbones tattoo. The skull and crossbones were white, with yellow and red flames blazing from the eyes, while the mouth and nose were black. The mouth of the skull had vampire fangs.
Mind shivered and tore her eyes away from the tattoo.
"I know I'm going to pay for this at the dentist office." Casey said, sitting down in front of her, her bright chipper voice managing to sound like fingernails on a blackboard. "But I have such a sweet tooth."
With that Casey pulled Mindy out of the doughnut and began to lick the jelly off of her. Too terrified to even scream Mindy only stiffened. Casey started with her legs, dipping them both into her mouth and drawing them out like a pop-sicle. She dipped Mindy back into the doughnut legs first and took her out. Again and again Casey did this, each time drawing Mindy's body further and further into her mouth.
Calm blue ocean, Mindy thought to herself, her mind desperately shouting the phrase she dared not utter. It was her and Elvira's favorite calming down phrase. But it wasn't really working and Mindy wished with all her heart Elvira was there.
Giggling Casey took a drink of the milk, then took a spoon and sprinkled sugar all over Mindy's body. Once more the fairy was treated as a pop-sicle. After a few more trips into Casey's mouth Mindy was put down on the plate and held there. Her arms stretched out and each of Casey's fingers holding them there. Leaning forward Casey began to lick her way up Mindy's body. In a first show of defiance the young girl tried to keep her legs closed. But, strong as they were, Mindy's legs were no match for the giant tongue. Mindy shut her eyes as Casey's tongue toyed with her vagina. There was no way for it to penetrate, the size difference was too great. But the sheer pressure combined with the roughness was stimulating. Despite herself, and against every ounce of will Mindy possessed, the young girl felt her body responding. Her skin grew taunt around tensing muscles. Her breast stiffened. The path between her legs became slick with her own juices.
Mindy moaned and Casey let go of her arms so the young girl could caress her own breast. While Mindy did that Casey lightly caressed the wings. As she did so Mindy became more and more aroused. Seldom had she been this hot, only Calliope had brought her to this height. And so quickly, Mindy realized her fairy body was far more responsive than her human one. The small part of her that would have fought, might have raised an objection, was held in chains of pleasure at the far corner of her mind. Her body and the bliss she was feeling ruled Mindy's soul. Casey started to push at Mindy's breast with her little fingers and Mindy abandoned her breast for her antennae.
Casey sprinkled some more sugar onto the fairy. Mindy felt the sugar hit her skin like cold water. She could feel the blood steaming through her veins. Casey leaned back, one finger still rubbing Mindy's pussy while the other caressed her own breast. She picked Mindy up by her wings and brought her to the nipple. Mindy twisted and beat her wings against the giant breast. Casey gasped and arched her back, her other hand reaching between her own legs.
Mindy had never felt so powerful. The very power of creation filled her. She reveled in it, tasting the very stuff of godhood. Casey let go of her completely and Mindy flew around the woman. In her wake was a trail of glowing dust. Faster and faster Mindy flew, taking a spiral path from Casey's head to her toes and back again. Casey left the chair, her body floating. Suddenly Mindy saw the womans life, years spent on petty villainy and vanity. No friends, a family outcast. Pity filled Mindy's spirit. For Casey had the same fear of aging that haunted the fairy.
Casey felt that pity. Mindy and the woman looked into each other eyes and a primal communication took place. Anger filled Casey's face. She reached out and took Mindy's body, pressing it to her own. They both floated in the power generated by their passion. Still Mindy felt sorry for the woman, for she realized that Casey was facing a bleak time in her life.
I could help her, Mindy thought. As the thought hit her knowledge came with it. A fairy spell, one of the hundreds she received from Jack and Jill, filled her mind.
An evil smile lit Casey's face, and Mindy realized their link was still their.
"Do it." Casey commanded, stroking Mindy's antenna.
Mindy knew she shouldn't. She tried not too. But The pleasure ruling her spirit would allow nothing but full subservience to it's source.
Casey knew that. She pulled Mindy to her face, her tongue once more forcing the fairy's legs apart. Mindy fought back. But she knew it was futile. While Casey's tongue worked at her pussy the giantesses fingers rubbed Mindy's breast. Mindy was quickly worked up to orgasm, and then beyond it. Suddenly there was lightning and thunder in the kitchen. Mindy climaxed, energy pouring out of her as if a damn had broken. She screamed and leapt into darkness, hoping to save her sanity.

Mindy awoke to a world of light. Blinding, white and intense, it flowed over her body. But even as she was welcoming it, it faded. She opened her eyes and looked into a shallow plastic chamber. A metal cylinder shuddered at the far end. She was lying on glass, Mindy realized. Slowly she sat up, her mind clearing. The memory of her love making rushed back at her, but by this time Mindy's emotions were spent.
"How you feeling honey?" Casey asked.
Mindy looked over at her. Casey was wearing her robe again, but she had changed, no longer was age creeping up on her. Her skin was vibrant, her face unlined and her hair red to the roots. She was sitting in front of a computer and Mindy realized she was lying on a scanner. Through a doorway she could see the kitchen.
"I need therapy." Mindy said. She remembered the youth spell, but felt shame that she had been forced to use it on someone like Casey.
"Fun wasn't it." Casey said. "I haven't had it that good since I got drunk with a demon. You have talent honey."
Mindy sighed. She now realized where Jack had gotten his tan, the scanner had turned her skin bronze as well.
"The money I can get for what you can give..." Casey trailed off, her voice dripping with greed.
"I just gave you a second chance in life." Mindy said. "Don't you think you should rethink the evil bit?"
"I'm not evil, I'm just morally challenged."
"You've cursed your niece, stranded your brother and his wife in time and molested me."
"First off, Calliope needed to be taught a lesson." Casey said, an annoyed look crossing her face. "Second my brother would be here today if he had given me what I wanted, so it's not my fault. And you liked our little tryst."
"I didn't know what I was doing." Mindy said.
"Honey you didn't have to know, your body is built for sex."
"The hell it is!" Mindy shouted, rage broiling up within her. She'd heard that phrase from too many people in her life.
"The hell it isn't." Casey shot back. "You gotta realize honey we're all meant for different things in life. Now I was meant to be in charge of things. Not everything, but some things. My brother was meant to do things for other people, especially me, and my niece should'a been a mouse to begin with. You honey, are a born sex machine. Accept it, you'll be happy."
"If all that's true," Mindy said, her voice arctic with rage, "you were meant to be just what you are. A vapid, self absorbed, gold digging hussy with delusions of grandeur." Mindy went on, ignoring the anger that was showing in Casey's face. "It doesn't matter how many years I've given you. You'll waste them just like you've wasted all the years of your life, and you'll end up just the same. Alone, no family and ugly." Casey winced at the word. "A dried up raisin that guys will run away from and women will pity. You'll be so wrinkled you'll have to iron your face before you look in the mirror."
"Be quiet." Casey said, her voice angry and hurt. She reached down and picked something up.
"You can have all the money in the world and you'll still be old."
With deadly silence Casey put the can of Raid Yard Guard onto the table. For a long moment the fairy and the woman looked at each other. Then Casey spoke. Her voice had the finality of a cell door slamming shut.
"I got an offer for Jack already, the internet is great for that. You wouldn't believe how many people want a fairy. I was gonna sell him and keep you. But now I think I'll put you on the market. There's a gal in a lab coat that wants to see what makes your insides work. She's gonna put you on a little table and go slash." Casey made a cutting motion with her hand. "And I think I'll ask for a copy of the tape."
Mindy shuddered as Casey spoke. She could picture herself on such a table.
A bell rang making Mindy jump. Casey picked her up and walked back into the kitchen. A pot was simmering on the stove. Mindy shut the gas of and poured the contents of the pot into a mixing bowl. The liquid was a thick pink goo that reminded Mindy of a strawberry milk shake.
"What's that stuff?"
"The were-mouse cursing potion." Casey said. Picking up a spoon she stuck it into the bowl and then carried it and Mindy into the living room. "There's a big market for this stuff on the internet.
The living room was the same as they had left it. All except for the cage. The door was open. Swearing Casey put the bowl down and reached into the pocket of her robe. A stick arced out of the shadows and hit the hand that held Mindy. Mindy flew up and away as Casey cursed and turned to face her attacker. Elvira stood by the fire. She was wearing an oversized Philadelphia Flyers jersey and Mindy knew that wasn't a good sign. Elvira normally wore the flyer's jersey when she want to hurt someone. From the look in her eyes she wanted to hurt Casey.
"Who are..."
That was as far as Casey got with the question before the hockey sliced at her stomach. Casey dodged back and grabbed the stick. Elvira growled and used Casey's grip against her, forcing the woman into the door.
"This should not take long." Jill said, hovering beside Mindy.
"As long as El wants it too." Mindy agreed. They watched as Elvira used her stick to bat Casey through the door and into the kitchen.
"Mindy." Calliope called. Mindy looked down to see Calliope and Jack sitting on the table. She and Jill flew down to them.
"Your friend is truly a hellcat." Jack said, grinning. In the kitchen they could hear the sound of glass breaking.
"There goes the computer." Mindy said, seeing the flare of light from under the door.
"The scanner did not take a good likeness of me anyway." Jack said again.
"So I guess you two are telepathic." Mindy said, trying to keep her voice calm. She was telling herself to stay as cool as they were, but it was hard. Mindy wanted nothing more than to hug them both and never let them go. But that sort of thing just wasn't done. Janeway would never do it, neither would Picard and neither would she.
"Once we were free to concentrate." Jill said.
The door to the kitchen sprang open and Casey staggered into the room, her robe undone. She stumbled, her eyes glazing and then fell onto the small table that held the were-mouse potion. Catapulted the potion soared toward them. Mindy, Jack and Jill reacted instinctively by flying out of the way. Calliope wasn't fast enough. She squealed as the pink goo covered her.

"Here we go." Helga said, handing Mindy a small cup filled with a clear liquid.
They were in the dining room of Carrion Mansion. Elvira sat at the far end of the table, dressed in jeans and a mighty ducks t-shirt. Helga and Jeremy sat on either side of her. Calliope, Jack and Jill stood beside Mindy on the table. In the far corner of the room, hogtied, Casey squirmed on the floor.
Mindy looked at the cup, but didn't drink it immediately.
"I'll still remember." she said, looking at Jill.
"The spells and lore?" Jill replied. "Yes, but your poor mortal form will not have the power for magic."
"We can teach you more than you know." Jack said, for once his tone was serious.
"Maybe, but you'll never stop a slap shot if your smaller than the puck." Elvira said. "Come on Min, have you really had a good time this week end?"
"Well..."
"It wasn't all bad." Calliope piped up.
"No." Mindy agreed, looking at the cup. "But I can't leave my family. Besides me and my brother have some things to talk about."
In one motion Mindy drank the contents of the cup. There seemed to be a flash of light. Her body felt bloated for a moment, then it was over. She stood on the table, once more her normal 5 feet 11 inches.
"Yes!" Mindy shouted, stretching. "I'm back."
"Indeed you are." Jeremy said, smiling.
Mindy quickly remembered she was naked and jumped off the table. Elvira threw her a robe and she put it on.
"Your worse than Oliver Douglass." she snapped.
"A few moments ago you were completely nude and it didn't bother you." Jeremy said puzzled. "I have seen you naked, I shall remember that sight. Why does it bother you?"
"Forget it." Elvira said. "Mindy and I will deal with Oliver later.
"What of her?" Jeremy asked, gesturing to Casey.
"There's room in the dungeon." Helga suggested.
"I got a better idea." Elvira said, a little smirk on her face. Mindy knew that smirk of old and shuddered.

Casey woke up feeling very strange. Her body seemed numb, but light as well. The last thing she remembered was Elvira throwing some water in her face. Then nothing.
She opened her eyes and saw a very strange woman leaning over her. Taller than Casey, the woman was broad and solid. She had four arms, two sets of breast. But it was her glowing green eyes that captivated Casey. Eyes that seemed to draw her in.

"I really must thank you dear." Aunt Petunia said, hefting the mesmerized Casey over her shoulder.
"Anytime." Elvira said.
"A slave at last." Petunia said, stroking Casey's legs. "But she will need training."
"Knock yourself out." Elvira said.
Petunia blew her a kiss and carried Casey up with her into the shadows.
"I'm not sure about this El." Mindy said.
"Any other ideas?"
"No, but in one night you've given the spider people a false god to worship and now you've given her a slave. It doesn't seem right."
"I disagree." Jeremy said. "The spider people have always needed a god. Why they used to worship a Spiderman doll I had."
"Besides my aunt always loved sex and s&m and stuff." Calliope said.
Mindy fell silent, but her face betrayed her worries.
"Hey the suns coming up." Calliope called, pointing.
They all looked out the window at a the sunrise. A sparkling display of color and energy. The light from it filled the room. Out of the corner of her eye Mindy saw Jack and Jill glow.
I missed that, she thought. I missed so much.
"Hey!" Calliope called. They all looked at her, even as she looked down at herself. "How come I'm not changing?"
"You change at dawn?" Jeremy asked.
"Yea. Usually."
Jeremy hummed to himself.
"That's not good." Elvira said.
"What?" Mindy asked.
"He hummed. It's never good when he hummms."
"What's wrong with me?" Calliope called, her voice squeaking. Jill reached over and gathered the were-mouse in her arms.
"Well, it's only a supposition." Jeremy said. "But I recalled from your description of the fight that you were covered with the were-mouse potion. It seems to have changed the curse. Interesting, and worth study."
"Should we take her to the lab?" Helga asked, the twins brightening.
"NO!" Elvira and Mindy said at the same time.
"We got two tinkerbells here." Elvira said. "They should be able to cure her."
"Not so." Jack said. "I saw the curse Casey used, it is nothing we have seen before.
"It has been millennia since we were entombed." Jill said. "Magic is not a static science."
"We'll need samples." Helga said.
"No way." Mindy said, putting her arms in front of Calliope and Jill. "I'll go back and get Casey's spell book. It might take me a while but I'll figure it out. Besides you still have to help Elvira."
"Actually I have been working on that problem." Jeremy said. Reaching into his pocket he pulled out a watch and handed to Elvira. It was an oversized aviators watch, with dozens of small dials. "This is a field effect inhibitor. It should prevent you from shrinking and growing."
"Should?" Elvira asked, looking at the watch doubtfully.
"I estimate it will be 70% effective 85% of the time." Jeremy said. "In the meantime I will search for a more permanent solution."
"So it might work sometimes." Elvira said, her voice full of resignation.
"Yes."
"Yea." Elvira deadpanned, putting on the watch.
"But what about me?" Calliope called. "I'll miss school."
"So there's an upside." Elvira said.
"I'll find a cure." Mindy said. "I promise."
"I wish my mom was here." Calliope said, sinking to the table top.
"Do you guys have a time machine?" Mindy asked.
"Uncle Tom has one." Jeremy said. "I remember he was showing it off last Christmas."
"But he only traveled back in time to tell us he'd have it finished by the end of next summer."
"I'll email him." Jeremy said.
"But what will I do in the meantime?" Calliope said. "I got a test next week."
They all fell silent for a moment. Then Jeremy spoke up.
"Well, there is the: "R" project."
"That will take a months allowance!" Helga protested.
"What..." Mindy started to asked but Elvira held up her hand.
"Maybe not. After all we'll be helping someone, and Mother is always on us to help more people." Jeremy looked over at Elvira. "Of course it would also help if she didn't have to worry about babysitting cost for a while."
Elvira stared at him, growling. Then looked around the table. Finally she sighed.
"Done. Now what the hell is project R?"
"Well when we realized Mindy might be sacrificed to Aunt Petunia, Helga and I knew we were in trouble."
"Mother get's really mad when we loose babysitters to ritual sacrifices." Helga said.
Mindy let the breath out of her body in low toned gasp.
"So we ordered a robot replica of Mindy."
"Where the hell do you get a robot that looks like me?"
"The female section of the Playboy edition of the secret robot section of the Toy's R Us catalog." Jeremy said. "All they needed were pictures."
"And you had those." Elvira said. Mindy was just staring at the twins.
"Of course." Helga said.
"We can just adjust the order and Calliope can ride around in robot. They are not hard to operate."
"Cool." Calliope said. "Will it have like superpowers and stuff?"
"Not unless we get the deluxe model."
"Ok." Elvira said. "But what happens when someone notices Calliope's aunt is missing."
"Mother will handle that." Helga said. "She always does."
"Of course." Elvira said, turning to Mindy. "Now do you understand why I wanted to babysit alone?"
Mindy sighed and leaned back into her chair.
"What about you?" she asked Jill.
"We have a world to explore." Jack said. "And many of our kind are still trapped in their gem prisons."
"We will find them." Jill said. "And free them, and give them bodies as you have done for us."
"And when they are free we shall return." Jack announced, his eyes flashing as he smiled.
"Great." Elvira said. "Just what this town needs, more little people."

END.
