No Clue

No Clue used Photodraw 2000. "I'm using a slightly different approach this time around when in comes to texturing. The results this way are a bit easier to reverse than previously, and I think they turn out better.  ...basic steps...

1. Using the line tools I draw in an outline where everything is going to go and group that in a single layer.

2. I do a series of cut-outs using the outline layer as a guide and layer them appropriately. Using Clone tools for some touch up work as needed

3. For the layers that will need textures I create a copy of each layer. The easiest way is to have all the layers ready and then group them and duplicate that layer using the copy paste function and line them up (the Cut-out tool will not preserve the layers).

4. Using the duplicate layers I format them with textures setting scale and transparency levels before I group the individual sections back with the original. The Transparency setting should give the impression of the original shape, depending on the texture it could range from 25% on up.

5. Apply color settings, typically after grey scaling, to each layer as needed

6. Use the Emboss/Embed effect to give the necessary layers some depth to clothing.

7. Some items are then drawn in using the Line and applying textures and and other effects as needed.
