Twilight and The Wizard - The Spell

* Twilight^ looks somber : "Let's do it before I have more time to think."
* Vladi_Wizard we step from the portal...onto a dimensional nexus...a platform of ebony with hundreds of pathways that move out from it in different directions....empty space all around us
<Vladi_Wizard> This is where we will do it
* Twilight^ looks above and to the sides. "It is beautiful."
* Vladi_Wizard looking all around...
<Vladi_Wizard> yes...it is...
<Vladi_Wizard> This leads to all other places and times....
<Twilight^> I see. What should I do?
* Vladi_Wizard the platform is smooth and large....reflecting the star light on it's glassy surface, which is surprisingly not slick at all
* Vladi_Wizard taking a deep breath I release your hand...and step forward
<Vladi_Wizard> Nothing...right now
<Twilight^> Ok.
* Vladi_Wizard takes hold of the staff and holds it horizontally before him...and begins to chant....closing his eyes...and letting his senses flow outwards
* Twilight^ stares at the stars and the plataform, thoughtfully.
* Vladi_Wizard lifting the staff higher till directly over my head...continuing the chant....and the staff begins to sparkle
* Twilight^ stands still and quiet.
* Vladi_Wizard soon small streaks of lightning crackle and dances along the staff...building along the surface....my chanting increases in tempo and volume with the energy
* Vladi_Wizard the staff is glowing brighter...and brighter...you can feel the force radiating all around us...several streaks of lightning break off to shoot outwards along the countless ebony pathways
* Vladi_Wizard I stop the chant...and the energy is suddenly sucked into the staff...and thier is a strange momentary silence...you cannot even hear your own breathing
* Twilight^ keeps looking at the staff.
* Vladi_Wizard suddenly two bolts of energy erupt from the staff...one from the head..the other from the end...that blast against the surface of the platform in a dazzling display of rainbow energy that forms a pair of glowing spheres
* Vladi_Wizard I open my eyes and nod in approval as I see the two spheres before me....energy pulsating through them
<Vladi_Wizard> Alright. Now as they are forming...remove your clothes. Every stich, Twilight. Anything that is not natural to you must be removed
<Vladi_Wizard> Hair pins, rings, jewelry...everything
* Twilight^ starts to undress herself. Mask, gloves, boots and her suit. I put them all to the side, far from me.
* Vladi_Wizard looks at you closely
<Vladi_Wizard> You are clean? Bathed? No makeup?
<Twilight^> Yes. As you instructed.
* Vladi_Wizard smiles and nods
* Vladi_Wizard turns back to the spheres....and taps the staff in a pattern while I move towards them
* Vladi_Wizard moving between the two glowing energy spheres...and begin a strange dance...tapping the staff between the two spheres...chanting again a similar but different spell
* Vladi_Wizard the energy of the two spheres starts to shift...bulges forming in the side of the sphere facing the other as I continue to weave and trace symbols in the air and along the platform
* Twilight^ shakes a little, but controls herself fast.
* Vladi_Wizard moving around the spheres....tapping...tracing....from one to the other...the energy bulge grows...getting closer to each other
* Vladi_Wizard I move back to the middle and finish the invisible diagrams...and hold my staff parrallel..each end pointing to the bulge of energy that moves from the spheres like a limb
* Vladi_Wizard I spin the staff...and the two bulges race towards each other....joining together in a blaze of blinding light that encompasses us in a blast of mystic energy
* Twilight^ is wide eyed. But completely motionless ad quiet.
* Vladi_Wizard when the blaze dimishes in place of the two spheres are a pair of glowing golden pentagrams hanging in mid-air just off he platform, the tip of each straight up (each about 20 feet from the other)
* Vladi_Wizard sighs and takes a deep breath and moves back to you
<Vladi_Wizard> Step two is complete
* Twilight^ just keep paying atention to everything.
* Vladi_Wizard takes your hand and leads you towards the area between the two pentagrams
* Vladi_Wizard you see that they are not solid..but are made of rays of golden light....
* Vladi_Wizard you see from only the corners of your eyes....small symbols in the ebony at your feet, and in the air ...glowing faintly blue...but disappearing from your vision when you look directly at them
* Twilight^ follows you and go exactly where you ordered me to.
<Vladi_Wizard> Now then...spread your legs shoulder width apart...and lift your arms out to your sides
* Twilight^ spreads my legs imediatelly and lift my arms to the sides.
* Vladi_Wizard I chant again...and my right hand begins to glow...my fingers glowing softly red
<Vladi_Wizard> This won't hurt. What I am going to do is prepare your body for the splitting.
* Twilight^ nods.
* Vladi_Wizard I start to touch you....tracing symbols onto your skin with my finger tip...every place I touch a redish glowing symbol is drawn....first I make the major symbols at your primary energy points (chakras)
* Twilight^ trembles slightly.
* Vladi_Wizard slowly moving about you...tracing symbols on your face...neck...breasts... belly ...loins...
* Vladi_Wizard more symbols are drawn all over your arms...shoulders...hands...palms
* Vladi_Wizard moving to paint more glowing symbols on your back...shoulder blades...spinal column...
* Vladi_Wizard the red symbols glow faintly on your fair skin and reflect in the mirror like surface of ebony platform....more symbols on your buttocks and hips....
<Vladi_Wizard> How are you doing, Twilight?
* Twilight^ does nothing.
* Vladi_Wizard tracing more symbols along your legs....along your thighs...the backs...sides..and insides...
* Twilight^ 's voice is shaken: "I am fine, Vlad. Don't worry."
* Vladi_Wizard smiling up at you then looking back down...more symbols on your kneess....shins...calves...
* Vladi_Wizard I move behind you...
<Vladi_Wizard> Ok...stand straight now
* Vladi_Wizard I place my hand against your back to give you support
* Twilight^ ajusts her stance.
<Vladi_Wizard> Are you left or right handed?
<Twilight^> Right handed.
<Vladi_Wizard> Raise your left foot back...don't worry...lean back as you do it and I will keep you from falling
* Twilight^ raises my foot and uses your support.
* Vladi_Wizard I trace a symbol on the bottom of your left foot
<Vladi_Wizard> Ok...return to your stance...and lift back your right foot
* Twilight^ does it.
* Vladi_Wizard draws a symbol on your foot's sole
<Vladi_Wizard> Ok...return to the way you were standing
<Vladi_Wizard> One last symbol. What I want you to do is to stand perfectly stright...your hands at your sides comfortably...and close your eyes
* Twilight^ keeps obeying.
<Vladi_Wizard> Now I want you to picture in your minds eye...you. I want you to see yourself standing before you as if looking into a mirror. OK?
<Twilight^> Ok.
<Vladi_Wizard> Let me know when you have a clear mental picture of that.
* Twilight^ takes a few moments. "I do now."
* Vladi_Wizard you feel me touching the crown of your head as I trace the final symbol
<Vladi_Wizard> Alright...you may now open your eyes
* Twilight^ looks ahead.
* Vladi_Wizard I dismiss the glowing from my hands and look at you
<Vladi_Wizard> Relax Twilight
* Vladi_Wizard smiling
<Vladi_Wizard> Everything is going just fine.
* Vladi_Wizard taking you by your hand, I lead you over to one of the hovering glowing pentagrams
* Twilight^ keeps obeying.
* Vladi_Wizard I take you by the shoulders and move you...turning you so your back is to the golden symbol of power
<Vladi_Wizard> Ok...once again...spread your legs and raise your arms
* Twilight^ repeats the position.
* Vladi_Wizard I take several steps back...looking from you to the symbol and back to you
<Vladi_Wizard> hmmmm...raise your arms a bit higher...
* Vladi_Wizard looks at the angles carefully...
* Twilight^ strectches my arms higher.
<Vladi_Wizard> now...spread your legs out a bit more...about 4 inches
* Twilight^ almost falls, but manage to keep my equilibium as I spread my legs.
* Vladi_Wizard nods with satisfaction and walks up to you...taking your slender waist in my hands...
<Vladi_Wizard> Now...do not be alarmed....
* Vladi_Wizard I lift you up...and back...and you feel yourself binding to the pentagram...your arms and legs matching perfectly along the glowing arms and legs of the symbol
* Vladi_Wizard I step back again and look at you....examining everything as you are suspended in mid-air against the pentagram
* Twilight^ looks around, moving just my eyes, trying to see what is happening.
* Vladi_Wizard I walk around you...looking at your back through the glowing pentagram...seeing all symbols are in thier proper place
* Vladi_Wizard moves back to stand before you and looks into your eyes
<Vladi_Wizard> Now...comes the more difficult part
<Vladi_Wizard> Your duplication
* Twilight^ nods and breathes deeply, gathering my strenght.
<Vladi_Wizard> Are you ready Twilight?
<Twilight^> Yes.
* Vladi_Wizard moving to the center between the two pentagrams...and lifting up my staff once again
* Vladi_Wizard facing you I begin to chant....my staff set into the platform...my other hand pointing at you...
* Vladi_Wizard as I chant a symbol on your body glows brighter...and shifts from red to brilliant blue...
* Vladi_Wizard the chant is long...a spoken line to describe each glowing symbol on your body that shimmers and changes color...
* Vladi_Wizard you feel the symbols now....warm against you...tingling against your skin...seeming to soak into your flesh and to the very marrow of your bones...
* Twilight^ is patient.
* Vladi_Wizard but you cannot move now if you tried...your body locked against the pentagram that glows brighter with each changing symbol
* Twilight^ is not trying to move.
* Vladi_Wizard I speak the last syllable...your body covered with glowing blue symbols....I suddenly lift my staff and turn and point at the empty pentagram
* Vladi_Wizard you feel your body being torn apart....as if your insides and brain was exploding....your nerves all ablaze with cold fire!
* Twilight^ opens my mouth to shout in pain. But I refrain from it and just grind my teeth.
* Vladi_Wizard the symbols against your explode into rays of light that shoot across to the other pentagram and the symbol explodes in a blinding blue burst
* Vladi_Wizard I slam the staff down to the platform...and the light fades...and you look over past me at yourself
* Vladi_Wizard her eyes are vacant, and her face listless as she stares back at you...but you see her breathing as she hangs against the far pentagram
* Vladi_Wizard I blink and turn back to you...breathing heavier...
<Vladi_Wizard> Now...it the really hard part...Twilight
<Vladi_Wizard> Now...we split...your soul.
* Twilight^ looks at my other self, surprised that it work.
* Twilight^ closes my eyes and nods, heavily.
* Vladi_Wizard I set the staff in the middle so it hovers upright....and move to you...you see my face is paler than it was...but my eyes still sparkle with energy
* Vladi_Wizard I reach up and take your head in between my hands....and close my eyes....
* Vladi_Wizard you feel my hands grow warmer....as I let my senses flow...outwards....and into you....using the secret you told me as a link....
* Twilight^ is very cold.
<Twilight^> And sweating.
* Vladi_Wizard you feel me inside your head...and my presense flowing inside you...spreading throughout you as I travel into you....to seek out your true essense
* Vladi_Wizard my spirit glides into you...and you hear another chanting...yet my mouth is not moving...you then realize that it is the spirit form of me that is chanting inside of you
* Twilight^ tries not to fight you and be as inobstructive as I can.
* Vladi_Wizard as I chant...tendrils of energy flow from the glowing rays of the pentagram...wrapping themselves around your body....around your arms...legs...torso...head....to hold your body firmly in place for what is to come as the chanting turns into a song...that is joined by another voice
* Vladi_Wizard a voice in your head that rings through you...a voice that you know is your own that joins my own
* Vladi_Wizard the song gets louder as the two voices mingle perfectly together....
* Twilight^ seems scared, but am still holding on.
* Vladi_Wizard then quieter again...as my voice slowly fades out from inside you....yet the singing continues inside you
* Vladi_Wizard I blink open my eyes...and take a deep breath...and release my hold on your head
<Vladi_Wizard> Twilight...now....I want you...to say ...outloud....your true name.
* Vladi_Wizard I pant as I move to stand aside
<Twilight^> Michelle Justin.
* Vladi_Wizard as you speak the last syllable...a huge burst of golden energy shoots out from your mouth and into the mouth of your double across from you...who jerks against the pentagram...you feel a terrible ripping sensation through out you
* Vladi_Wizard your body is wracked with the most complete and horrible pain that you have ever experienced in your entire life ...as half of your soul is thrown across the space...across the hovering staff...and into your double
* Twilight^ bulges. I try to scream but have nostrenght for it. Try to stand, but I am stuck in place.
* Vladi_Wizard a scream pierces the heavens....a scream of two voices...of yours and of your double
* Twilight^ 's body tenses completely from the pain.
* Vladi_Wizard the platform is then still...and I move over to stand before your double...I look into her eyes and smile
* Vladi_Wizard I move back to you and look into your eyes....and smile
<Vladi_Wizard> It is done!
* Twilight^ seems to have fainted.
* Vladi_Wizard I move back to the staff..and lift it up...then rap it on the platform...and the two pentagrams disappear, and the two of you crumple down onto the platform....followed soon after by me...completely exhausted
* Twilight^ takes at least a minute before I open my eyes. As I do, I look at the other pentagram and see myself there, as in a mirror. Both of me do it.
* Vladi_Wizard I sit up...my staff across my knees..my head bowed as I take in huge breaths of air
* Vladi_Wizard I see you stirring and raise my head
<Vladi_Wizard> How...do...you feel?
* Twilight^ seems to be confused, looking at myself. I don't try to move much, still regathering some strenght.
* Vladi_Wizard using my staff for support I stagger to my feet
* Twilight^ Both answer at the same time: "Odd."
* Vladi_Wizard chuckles
<Vladi_Wizard> Yes...it is
<Vladi_Wizard> Now...do not try to touch the other
* Vladi_Wizard looking at both of you
<Vladi_Wizard> That would be disasterous
<Twilight^> Never? What could happen?
<Vladi_Wizard> Here you can exist together....but...only one of you can exist on a given plane at a given time
<Vladi_Wizard> You would both cease to exist is what would happen
<Vladi_Wizard> Now...the two of you need to come up with a word...a word that is special that you do not use often, and one you wouldn't say by accident...like 'car'.
<Vladi_Wizard> That is the word that you will use to switch places.
<Twilight^> Will it ever be the way? Don't I have to return to my own plane to surrender?
* Vladi_Wizard looking from one to the other
* Twilight^ thinks.
<Vladi_Wizard> Yes...that is true.
* Vladi_Wizard points at your double
<Vladi_Wizard> But it is she that truely wishes to surrender
* Vladi_Wizard you both now realize that the statement is true
<Vladi_Wizard> However, the timing must be right...when you surrender. You both can't be there on the same plane
<Vladi_Wizard> And...one of you must return with me
* Vladi_Wizard limbs quivering as I move over to you, leaning on my staff...looking quite pale and gaunt now
<Twilight^> Surrendering. That is the word
<Vladi_Wizard> Ok...now..let us bind you both to that word
<Twilight^> Ok
* Vladi_Wizard looks at both of you and raises my staff...holding it horisontally
* Vladi_Wizard take the staff ...both of you...and say the word!
* Vladi_Wizard you say the word..your bound together...and I open the portal..and one of you comes with me
