The Dangers of Daring Officer Dolly

Chapter 16. By Royal Command

by Skytower

Simone Stronghollow had always enjoyed a life of luxury. Comfortable beds with silk or some other very expensive fabric were what she had slept in. Simone had walked with the beautiful people and her charm and wealth had drawn them to her. That had changed when she was diagnosed with lung cancer. After that Simone quickly learned that no matter how well the bed was built, and how expensive the sheets were, it was no place to spend twenty-four hours a day. For a little over two years Simone had woke up in a body that was growing increasingly fragile. Hospital rooms replaced hotel rooms and rooms in friends houses, and her friends quickly faded away with her health. Visits became phone calls, phone calls became letters, and letters became get well cards, and the cards finally stopped altogether. Emails and phone calls went unanswered. Simone had become a non-person. It was a terrible blow to someone whose wealth and charm had easily gained her popularity all of her life. Simone battled the bitterness with an upbeat attitude, but it wasn’t easy. The long slide heading toward death had only one good part too it: introspection. Time for Simone to reflect on her life and her family. Simone’s father and mother had been the Deadly Duo, supervillains whose main claim to fame had been the near destruction of San Francisco by an orbiting death ray. They had been stopped and killed by Simone’s grandfather. He was Death’s Knight, a rival supervillain. He had been defeated and destroyed by Force Group J. Her uncle had been Crossbolt, another failed supervillain. It was; Simone admitted, and admitted seriously for the first time, a sad family tree. Simone’s brother was too timid to be a supervillain. He was not an idiot though and took advantage of her situation when he could. Simone had returned home from her last hospital stay to find the old servants gone and all her lines of communication cut. Barely strong enough to walk she was put into her room, literally chained to her bed, and left to die. Her brother actually encouraged her to do so as quickly as possible. He reveled in her pain and taunted her when he could. Simone realized that his bravery came from the knowledge of the wealth he would acquire and his new girlfriend.

In the prison that was her room and the wreck that was her body Simone struggled to find some joy in life. Television was fine for a while, but the cartoons and movies soon lost their flavor. Seeing the heroine rescued in the nick of time became depressing for someone who had no hope. Simone found some solace in the news. She told herself often that there were many people worse off than she was, and they had never had a good life to begin with.

Sometimes that helped. Sometimes it made it worse. Simone knew that her family, one of the founding families of the town, had gained their fortune through crime and that she had never done much for the world. When she died there would be nothing but a gravestone, and a small one at that if her brother picked it out. This struck her more than any other time when she watched ‘The circus of Dr. Lao’. Seeing a character in the film reduced to tears as a fortune teller foretold a useless and forgotten life struck too close to home for Simone. That night, for the first time since she had become sick, Simone prayed. The next day she had felt silly and depressed.

Then a tiny miracle had shown up in her closet. A frightened young woman no more than twelve inches tall. ‘George’, as Simone called her, stirred a deeply protective streak in Simone. She had never expected to find anyone more helpless than herself, yet George was that. Not only was the girl helpless but she was terrified of invisible masters. Their time together was the happiest Simone had spent in nearly a year. Another shrunken woman, her twin sister, had followed her. Simone had always found twins to be very erotic and seeing two of them that were the size of dolls brought feelings to her body that she had thought that the cancer had destroyed.

Thrilled for the first time in ages Simone had surprised herself when the girls had told her they had to leave. Simone let them go and in that selfless act found contentment.

Then had come a tall blonde goddess of a woman. Her brother and his mistress were taken to jail, framed. That didn’t bother Simone at all. And after that Simone was free and healthy. And soon after that she realized that four old childhood friends were far more than she had ever realized. They had cured her, and they had a way for her to be useful. A way to help the two shrunken girls and the blonde and maybe more than that.

Now as Simone felt her body wake up she had to wonder how things would have turned out if she hadn’t gotten sick. And she wondered if praying really was as useless as she had thought.

The first part of her to wake up was her nose. The cold, antiseptic smell of a medical ward came to her. There was also a tinge of cinnamon in the air. This was followed by her sense of the air around her body. It wasn’t cold, nor was it hot, but it felt different. Heavier? Simone wasn’t sure. She was lying on her back on a warm metal table. No clothes covered her. That didn’t bother Simone. She had grown up going to nude beaches in search of the perfect tan. She had a good body. Slim, but with good breasts, sharp nipples and smooth skin. The red hair on her head matched the hair between her legs and was set off nicely by hazel eyes. Normally Simone didn’t really care who saw her, and in fact it gave her a thrill to give someone else a thrill.

Simone opened her eyes and looked up at a plain white ceiling.

"Feeling ok?" Tremont asked.

"I guess." Simone said sitting up. She was in a room with enough machinery to satisfy a techno-geek. Lights, dials, consoles and more. Simone had no idea what more than one of them did. Tremont was sitting at one of the consoles. Tremont Coach was one of The Group. He stood no taller than Simone’s five feet seven inches. Black hair that was cut short and slicked back capped a face that was good looking, but held eyes that revealed very little. He wore a dark shirt and pants.

"The adjustment is complete." Tremont said.

"What about Merry?"

"Still in with Deborah and Delilah." Tremont said. "By the time we are finished here we should know."

Simone fought down her questions. As she had learned in more hospitals than she cared to remember there was no point in asking them. But the last time she had seen Merry the woman had been near death. Though she had only known Merry a short time Simone felt very strongly for her. She wasn’t sure if it was friendship, love or the new protective feelings that she seemed to have toward all shrunken women.

"I guess I should give this a test then." Simone said. She stood up and held her arms over her head, bending them into a triangle and touched the tips of her thumb and index fingers together.

"By royal command," Simone called "I wish to be smaller."

There was a shift in the room, but Simone knew that the room wasn’t changing at all. She was. It took less than a click of the clock and Simone looked up at a room built for giants. Tremont walked over to her and held a wooden yard stick next to her. Simone had a moment of fear as he came toward her but controlled it. Next to him she was small and helpless.

"Twenty four inches." Tremont said. "Perfect."

"Next step." Simone said. Again she held her arms over her head. "By royal command, I wish to be the smallest I can be."

Again the room shifted and Simone staggered slightly and grabbed the yard stick for balance. She read the numbers that were level with her eyes.

"Eleven and three quarters." Simone said. The numbers were deeply black, driven into the grain of the wood and Simone realized that she had never seen anything so clearly before. Even the slight extra edge on the lines, repeated over and over again. A small mar on the imprinting too Simone guessed. To her small eyes it was as clear as it would have been invisible to her normal eyes.

"Again perfect." Tremont said. He reached down and picked her up.

Simone stifled a scream and again realized how completely helpless she was. Tremont’s fingers felt hot and she could smell the sweat from them. Those fingers roamed around her body before he put her back onto the table. She could feel the ridges in his fingerprints like the rough grain of a piece of unfinished wood.

This was what Merry meant, Simone thought. No wonder the poor girl was so amazed that I wanted to be shrunk. But doesn’t she realize the potential here? But no, I don’t think she does. She’s too conventional poor girl.

"Lay down and grow full sized." Tremont said. "I’d like to get a scan while it happens."

"You just got a scan." Simone muttered though without any anger. "By royal command, I want to be the tallest that I can be." Simone said holding her arms above her head.

Again it only took a second and Simone was back where she started.

"The readings match." Tremont said turning around. "You now have limited control over your size so long as you hold your arms and fingers that way and speak clearly."

"I’d best be careful then." Simone said sitting up again.

"The arm and finger positions are only one of the safety points." Tremont said. "We installed other safety features as well. You can’t grow if you are in a room that will not take the size, and you can’t grow above twenty four inches if you are in Dollopolis."

"But it is more than anyone else can?" Simone asked.

"Yes." Tremont said. "No one else has control over their size."

The door opened and Deborah and Delilah Pennytorch walked into the room. Identical twins they had light blonde/brown hair slim figures and startling blue eyes. They were wearing white lab coats over blue dresses and only the fact that Deborah wore a blue belt and Delilah wore a black belt let Simone tell them apart. That and the fact that Delilah’s blue eyes were just a little more intense than Deborah’s were. Simone could tell them apart just by that and by other small differences, but the twins had to be nude for her to do that.

"Merry will be fine." Deborah said before Simone could ask.

"She was right you know." Delilah said. "As long as we can get to her before her brain dies we can pretty much put her back together."

"Can I see her?" Simone asked.

"Sure." Deborah said.

"I’ll see to the final stages on Snowbelle, Julia and Nora." Tremont said. "I’ll double check Monica and then meet you in Dollopolis."

Delilah handed her a white lab coat and Simone followed the twins into the next room. This room was filled with more machinery with blinking lights and humming tones that meant nothing to Simone other than that the machines were working. Against the far wall were two coffin shaped glass containers.

"You can’t really see much." Deborah said leading Simone over to one of the coffins.

Simone followed her. In the coffin was a thick purple smoke. Within the coffin flashes of lightning danced wildly around a floating shape that was vaguely human shape.

"I couldn’t believe it when she attacked that creature." Simone said. "She didn’t have a chance."

"You and Monica were in danger." Deborah said. "Officer Dolly has a capacity for self sacrifice that borders on a death wish."

"We’re hoping you can help her with that." Delilah said.

"I’ll try." Simone said. She reached out and touched the glass. It was warm and trembled slightly. Simone bent down and peered through the glass. "You heard her last words?"

"Yes." Deborah said.

"Her mental state has been a concern for some time." Delilah said.

"She is intensely loyal to us." Deborah said.

"But that is part of the trouble." Delilah said. "We knew when we first took her that Merry was emotionally scared, we did not realize that she was actually regressing."

"And the side effect of the shrinking process does seem to have awakened suppressed sexual urges that poor Merry just isn’t handling well." Deborah said.

"We’ve corrected that problem since then." Delilah said. "Though I’m not sure it would have mattered for Lizzie, Jessie or you."

"The game shop will help." Deborah said. "We are choosing who should move into the area so that she will have some people to play with. But her sexuality issues are something we hope you will help her deal with."

"You’re choosing people to move here?"

"We’ve been active in gaining control over a number of people for a while now." Deborah said.

"Merry has gone on many missions." Delilah said. "It only needed a few key ones to begin to take over the rest of the weak-minded."

"Well I’ll try." Simone said straightening up. "You know me, I’m open to just about anything, and lord knows Merry’s gorgeous." She looked at the other coffin. "Who’s in there?"

"Uncle Micky." Delilah said. "We were going to just shrink him but first we have to cure him."

"What was wrong with him?"

"What wasn’t." Deborah sniffed.

"After a couple of decades of drug and alcohol abuse we had trouble finding enough healthy tissue left to rebuild." Delilah said.

"We’re still not sure how long it will take." Deborah said. "But his body could never have handled the conversion process."

"In the process we are trying to straighten out his mind." Delilah said gesturing at the two visual display screens that were set above the coffins.

"We are running a program that is virtually taking Uncle Micky on a re-cap tour of his life." Deborah said. "He is literally talking to himself."

"Will that work?" Simone asked.

"It can’t leave him any worse." Delilah said. "His virtual mirror self can not lie."

Simone looked at the monitors. Merry’s was filled with waves forms of different colors but they were smooth. Uncle Micky’s resembled the static on an old fashioned television.

"He is not really a problem." Delilah said. "Julia and Nora might be."

"Luckily we have time to plan a way to deal with it." Deborah said. "In the meantime Dollopolis is ready."

"We placed Lizzie and Jessie’s house there earlier." Delilah said. "Molly’s playing with them now."

"Well…" Simone said. "Well I guess we should go over there and start my royal reign off."

"Don’t be nervous." Deborah said.

"After all you have us as the power behind the thrown." Delilah said.

Simone smiled at them but it was a smile that hid her insecurity. If the truth be told, and she would never tell it now, Simone was more than nervous, she was scared. While it was true that the population of Dollopolis was going to be small at first, only three to four girls, it was still a test. If she failed to rule well… visions of the French Revolution filled Simone’s head. She had no real doubt that Lizzie and Jessie would do what she told them, they loved her and she loved them. But what about Snowbelle? Snowbelle was a rich girl too, used to having her own way. What about Monica? She was a girl raised in the streets, sort of. The last time Simone had been really in charge of anything it had been a school play. Her cosmetics firm had been more of a hobby than a business. She had never worried about it failing because she had too much money anyway. There was also Debbie and Del, who at this point scared the hell out of her. With them, though Simone had known them for years, she was entering into uncharted territory.

They had just turned to leave when the display screen above Merry’s coffin beeped. Simone looked back and saw that the waveforms were chaotic.

"Nightmare again." Deborah said moving to the console by the coffin.

"External again." Delilah said moving up beside her. Neither of them seemed worried. They operated the controls and after a few minutes the wave forms settled down.

"Someone is sending nightmares to Merry?" Simone asked.

"Yes, though not deliberately." Deborah said.

"We believe that someone is looking for her and is using a mystical spell to do so." Delilah said.

"Who?"

"We don’t know yet." Deborah and Delilah said at the same time.

"Is she in danger?"

"No." Deborah said. "But by some instinct she seems to be trying to hide from the search, thus the nightmares."

The wave forms settled down even more and the twins stepped back from the console.

"Come on." Delilah said. "It’s not a good idea to let Molly play for too long."

Lizzie hung on for dear life as the horse bucked underneath her. It didn’t help that the horse wasn’t a real horse, just a plastic toy horse. If she hugged its neck like she’d seen done in countless western movies the hard plastic mane would tear into her skin. But if she didn’t she’d fall off, and the horse was at least three feet off of the floor. Lizzie settled for gripping the plastic ears with all of her might and clenching her legs together around its hard plastic body. Her hair tossed wildly in the wind and her stomach complained mightily as Molly moved her through the air.

"The daring cowgirl flies to rescue her twin!" Molly called out dramatically as she moved the horse faster through the air. She made whooshing noises as well. Molly spun around for a few times moving Lizzie faster and faster through the air. Molly kept it up until she got too dizzy to stand and fell down.

The daring cowgirl wants something to wear, Lizzie thought, but didn’t dare speak the thought aloud. Molly was one of The Giant’s, one of the people who had taken Lizzie and her sister and shrunk them down to the size of dolls. Molly was short, stocky with dark hair and cute face. She tended to change the color of her hair a lot; currently it was bright red. She was wearing a pair of white and pink-stripped overalls with a red stripped shirt. Molly was usually the safest of The Giants to be with. But she had a strange and terrifying quirk. Molly liked to be hypnotically regressed into a childhood state. When that happened she loved nothing better than to play with toys. Shrunk to twelve inches tall Lizzie and her twin sister Jessie were toys to her. Out of the corner of her eye Lizzie saw her sister. She was tied with pink string to the tracks of a model train, and the train was coming at her. Lizzie held on tighter and tried to ignore the pain. The playroom was Molly’s favorite room and one of Lizzie and Jessie’s worst nightmares. For the past few months, while Dollopolis was being rebuilt, Lizzie and Jessie had lived with Simone. That wasn’t so bad. At least they got to stay in their own dollhouse, and the games that Simone played with them were fun. Sometimes sexual, but fun. But Simone had duties to perform and when that happened Jessie and her sister were then handed over to The Giants. Time with Tremont chilled Jessie, time with Delilah and Deborah was confusing. Time with Molly was terrifying. In Molly’s playroom were racing car sets, train sets, Lego and Erector sets and other games that were completely innocent. Innocent unless you happened to be twelve inches tall. Then everything took on a new and often frightening use.

Molly stood up and twirled around again. Lizzie held onto the brown plastic horse with all of her might. When Simone had left them Molly had started out with a tea party. That hadn’t been so bad. But after the tea party Molly had decided to play dress up. There was no way Lizzie or her sister could have fought her off so they did their best to smile and laugh as Molly stripped them nude and then put them into the different sets of doll clothing she had laying around. Star Trek costumes, superhero costumes, soldier costumes, Molly had dressed them in disco skirts and made them dance the Hustle. Each time neither sister was allowed to dress or undress herself, Molly did it for them and giggled as they squirmed. It wasn’t a giggle of malice; Molly wasn’t trying to hurt them. But Lizzie guessed that in Molly’s mind there was no difference between a shrunken woman and a Barbie doll.

Things got worse when Molly found a cowboy hat. Nothing else, just the hat.

That had started it. Now Jessie lay on the tracks, nude and bound. And Molly had tied the string so that it went between her legs and was tight into her pussy. Each time Lizzie tried to move her arms to try to escape the string stimulated her. And the closer the train came the more she struggled and the more she was stimulated. "Will she save her?" Molly shouted diving toward the bound Jessie. She landed on her stomach and the horse went flying. Lizzie jumped off as the horse was dropped and rolled along the floor, bumping hard into her sister.

"Save me not hit me!" Jessie shouted.

"I’m working on it!" Lizzie shouted back.

"Work harder!"

Jessie was tied across the tracks. Her hands were tied together in front of her and her upper arms were tied to her side. Her legs were tied at the ankles and the knees. The crotch rope went from her wrist, up behind her back, through her legs and back to her wrist. More string tied her to tracks and Lizzie started to try and untie the knots. The crotch rope she ignored, it was too slick to untie anyway.

"Will she be in time?" Molly asked. She laid on the floor put her chin into her hands and watched.

Lizzie tried to ignore her and concentrated on the knots. There were a lot of them and Molly’s giant fingers had tightened them.

"It’s coming!" Jessie screamed. "I’m coming!" Do something!"

"I’m trying!" Lizzie shouted.

"Bite through the ropes!"

"I can’t there’s too many!"

"Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!" Jessie screamed and reached a climax.

With nothing else to do Lizzie dived on top of her sister and hugged her. They both screamed as the train barreled toward them.

"She fails and they both die horribly." Molly said sadly.

Trembling Jessie and Lizzie looked up, as the train stopped no more than a few inches from them. Then with a sigh they both collapsed.

"Oh well… two more cowgirls in heaven." Molly said. She looked over at the giant sandbox in the corner of the room. "I know, I’ll have a funeral now!"

"Well I’m glad to see you’re having fun." Deborah said walking up to Molly. "But we still have things to do."

"Awe." Molly said.

"Grow up for me Molly." Deborah said holding her palm against Molly’s forehead.

"Are you alright girls?"

"Fine." Lizzie said in a weak voice. Seeing Simone lifted her spirits, she felt safer with Simone than with any other giant. Beneath her Jessie trembled and sobbed.

"Are you going to untie her or just stay that way?" Delilah asked bending down to Lizzie and Jessie.

Lizzie realized that she was still lying across her sister. Blushing she sat up quickly.

"The knots are too tight." Lizzie said.

"Yes, Molly does tie very tight knots." Deborah said. She and Delilah both laughed.

"I’ll help." Simone said. She took off her lab coat and handed it too Delilah. Then she held her hands above her head so that her fingertips met. "By royal command, I wish to be smaller."

Lizzie yelled in fright and jumped backward as Simone suddenly shrunk. She had seen Simone small before, but now Lizzie realized that one of The Giants hadn’t done it, Simone had done it herself. She was now twice as tall as Jessie and Lizzie.

"My god!" Jessie whispered.

Lizzie stepped back as Simone stepped over to Jessie. While she started to work on the ropes Lizzie looked up at Delilah and raised her hand. After a moment Delilah nodded.

"Mistress, can we do that?" Lizzie asked.

"Of course not." Delilah said.

"Royalty alone has that sort of power." Deborah said.

"Is that the only size you can do milady?" Jessie asked as Simone untied her. With one arm free she tried to wipe away her tears.

"No dear I can go as small as you." Simone said stroking her head. Lizzie was grateful to see her sister start to calm down.

"Merry has had another nightmare." Deborah told Molly.

"At this rate we’ll need mystical runes on the walls." Delilah said.

"I’ll keep an eye on her." Molly said fully mature again. "And Margarita’s book may give us some clues as to who is searching and why."

"Here we go." Simone said pulling the last of the ropes off of Jessie’s body. She held up the crotch rope. "Well someone had fun didn’t they?"

Jessie blushed and looked away.

"Come on now." Simone said helping her up. "We’re going home."

"Home?" Lizzie asked quickly adding "milady." When she saw Delilah looking at her.

"Dollopolis is finished." Deborah said. She swept Jessie and Lizzie up in her hands and dropped them into the pockets of her lab coat. "And that means you two have work to do."

Lizzie settled into the pocket with a Bic pen and loose change and tried not to cheer aloud. Work, work in the safety of the little city was something she’d do for a thousand years to stay out of Molly’s playroom.

The first difference Lizzie saw when she, Jessie and Simone stepped out of the elevator was the size. The old Dollopolis had been set in a giant room, but this place seemed to dwarf that. The second thing she saw, which should have been the first, was the castle. Twin turrets stood on either side of a massively tall wall, easily four times her own height. The stones that made up the wall were white. Flags flew from the turrets, waving in the breeze against the blue sky. There were a few stained glass windows in the turrets. From a wooden main gate stretched a long white bridge that led to the wall. Lizzie turned around and a little scream escaped her. The door to the elevator had vanished. Instead she was looking at blue sky. She looked around, all around, up and down and saw only the sky. It wasn’t a painted sky it looked real.

"Easy does it girls." Simone said taking hold of their shoulders. She was their height but Simone was wearing a purple fur robe that was lined with gold fluff. Lizzie and Jessie were still nude.

Lizzie realized that she was close to the edge of the bridge and stepped back toward the center. Jessie did the same. They walked across the bridge and as they got closer Lizzie guessed that the castle was built for Simone’s twenty-four inch height. It seemed too big for anything else. They came to the edge of the bridge and a gap of about four feet separated them from the castle gate.

"I am Duchess Simone of Dollopolis." Simone called out. "By royal command, Open."

The wooden gate opened into a drawbridge and lowered, bridging the gap. Once it bridged the gap Simone gave them both a little push and they entered the castle walls.

Lizzie found that she really couldn’t think of anything to say. But she felt something as they entered the castle. The drawbridge closed behind them with a resounding thud and when it did Lizzie suddenly felt safe. She glanced behind them and saw that two stone doors had closed as well. Unless someone knew where it was they would never spot the gate.

They entered into a main hall with vaulted ceilings. The hall was brightly lit by crystal chandeliers. On the left side on a raised dais was a throne. To the left and the right of the throne were twin-arched doorways. The size of the throne and the doorways confirmed Lizzie’s guess that the castle was built for Simone when she was twenty four inches tall.

"This is my main audience chamber." Simone said. "Also the place where we’ll have parties and ceremonies." She pointed to the doorways. "Those lead to my private chambers. Never go there unless you have my permission."

"Where does that go milady?" Jessie asked pointing to a barred doorway at the other end of the chamber.

"That goes to the dungeons." Simone said. She stopped and looked seriously at them. "Now I want you to understand something girls, and I hope you’ll tell the ones who come after you. There are three levels of punishment in Dollopolis. I have control over the stocks on the hill and the dungeons. And these are not fun dungeons. These are not dungeons where you go to play sexual games. These are serious dungeons. Creepy crawly dungeons."

"And the third level milady?" Lizzie asked, partly because she realized that Simone wanted her to ask and partly because she already knew and wanted it confirmed. It was beginning to strike Lizzie that the old life she and Lizzie had built in Dollopolis was gone. That scared her.

"The third level is Giant’s choice." Simone said.

For a moment the three of them were completely silent. Then Simone forced a smile and with one hand on each of their shoulders got them moving again.

"Of course I don’t think we have to worry about that too much." She said.

"Yea." Lizzie said.

"Right." Jessie confirmed.

"Cheer up." Simone said. They had come to the far wall and she pressed her palm against it. There was a rumbling and the wall fell away to become a bridge. Sunlight poured through the just opened doorway and it blinded Lizzie for a moment. When her eyes adjusted her mouth opened wide.

Simone eased Lizzie and her sister out through the doorway and onto the short drawbridge. On either side of them were deep pools of water. The bridge was a giant T, with the branches left and right leading to hills, fields of grass, houses, and rising beyond them rocks and waterfalls with streams. Lizzie realized that Dollopolis was laid out as a giant horseshoe with Simone’s castle at its head. On the inner rim of the horseshoe was a wide river, the outer edge was mountains.

"Our house!" Jessie cried pointing toward the left-hand side of the rim. Lizzie followed her arm and saw the three-story Victorian that they had picked out in the first Dollopolis. It wasn’t really that long ago but to Lizzie it seemed like something that they had done years before. The house had been set on a small rise only a short distance from the castle.

Lizzie looked at the scene and still her mind had trouble gathering it all in. The houses, every one of them, faced the castle at an angle. They were only half houses she knew, doll houses. There were more than before, more than she could easily count. Not only were there more houses, there were more styles of houses. It was as if someone had picked up a catalogue of houses, ripped it up and then thrown the pieces onto the floor and picked them up at random. Next to her and her sister’s Victorian was a stone house that looked like it had come out of the Flintstones cartoon. Beyond that was farmhouse, further along was what looked like a small pyramid.

"I can feel a breeze." Lizzie said suddenly realizing that she could. She looked up and saw that the clouds were moving across the sky. "The sun feels warm."

"Simulated actually." Deborah said.

Both Jessie and Lizzie clutched Simone’s sleeve and Simone put her arms around them. Deborah and Delilah appeared. They towered over the mountains and the houses and the castle. The Giant’s walked around the edge of the mountains and into the center of the horseshoe. Now Lizzie realized why Dollopolis was the shape it was. The Giants could walk around the inside and the outside of the town, having access to everything and anyone.

"The sky" Delilah said gesturing with her arm "is actually a set of projection screens. The sky outside of Simone’s house is what you see here."

"At night we’ve enhanced it so that there will be more stars." Deborah said.

Lizzie raised her hand and Deborah nodded.

"Mistress, will there be rain and stuff?"

"Not really." Deborah said.

"Some things are just not practical." Delilah said. "But other things Simone convinced us would make living in Dollopolis a bit less artificial."

Simone started to walk toward their house and Jessie and Lizzie followed.

"You’ve probably guessed that life is going to be a bit different in here." Deborah said.

"Something’s will stay the same though." Delilah said. Reaching down she picked up Jessie and Lizzie and set them down in front of their house. Out of the corner of her eye Lizzie saw Deborah do the same for Simone.

Lizzie sat on the front steps and looked back at the castle. It was the same as on the other side. Two turrets with a tall crenellated wall looked impossibly solid and imposing. There were two window openings in the walls with small balconies on each.

It’s a whole building, Lizzie realized. There was no way for The Giant’s to reach into it. Lizzie looked at Simone. She really was a power, a ruler in her own right, her own way. A feeling of warmth filled Lizzie. Simone loved her and her sister; they weren’t toys to her.

"Why don’t you run along and get some clothes on." Simone said. "Then I’ll give you a tour."

The warmth that Lizzie had felt upon realizing that Simone could be a buffer for her and her sister against the giants followed her into the house. The kitchen, hallway and stairs were exactly as she remembered them. She had long ago learned to ignore the fact that there were only three walls. As in the old Dollopolis the houses were placed so that none of them could look into one another. Upstairs on the bed were the dark short skirts, corsets, boots and cloaks that Jessie and Lizzie had finished just before being pulled out of the old Dollopolis. Lizzie had thought them lost in the move and wondered what had happened to them.

"I never thought we’d know anyone who lived in a castle." Jessie said pulling her skirt up.

"I never thought we’d spend so much time naked." Lizzie replied lacing up her corset. She felt better as each string was pulled taunt.

"I miss our tattoos." Jessie said sadly sitting down on the bed. "I don’t wanna be a doll anymore."

"We got a choice?" Lizzie said sitting next to her. "What’s worse, dad using your head as a hammer or Molly tying you to some train tracks."

"Both." Jessie said.

"We can’t leave." Lizzie said.

"But I’m scared." Jessie said hugging herself. "We don’t know what The Giants are going to do and Simone’s been gone a lot."

That was a lot of it Lizzie realized. Simone’s schedule had been so erratic that much of the time the girls did not know if they were going to be safe with her or subject to The Giant’s whims. It had gone on for too long and the strain was showing.

"We’re here." Lizzie said, hugging Jessie. "We’re here and the place is done and they got Merry to go on missions. We’re safe."

"No we ain’t."

"We’re safer." Lizzie agreed. "And we got Simone now."

"So what?"

"So what? Jessie she can grow when she wants, didn’t you see that castle? It’s full, there’s no way for The Giants to reach in."

"Your right." Jessie said brightening a little.

"So we stay as close to Simone as we can." Lizzie said. "She’s gotta be a buffer."

"She saved us from Merry." Jessie said.

"And we got our house back." Lizzie said. "Look it’s been hard, but I think the worst is over. We got this place back, we got a town here. Look at all these houses, they gotta get more people."

"Just girls." Jessie said. "I get tired of girls. Tongue is good but…"

"Jessie this is it." Lizzie interrupted her. "This is our life. We fell into the whole and I don’t see us getting out of it."

"It’s not so bad I guess." Jessie said.

"Me, I never want to leave here again." Lizzie said.

"What?"

"Jessie we got it good here. We got a house, we got food, we got things to do and now we got Simone. Ok so The Giants play with us some, you wanna go back to Dad and Mike and shooting up on weekends?"

"I guess not." Jessie said sitting up. "But I’m scared sometimes."

"Me too." Lizzie agreed. "But let’s ask for no more missions, no more crawling through walls…"

"No more Molly." Jessie whispered shuddering.

"We can’t ask that." Lizzie said. "She’s on’o them and they own us."

"I guess." Jessie agreed. "But we can ask for the other stuff."

They stood together and looked at the full-length mirror that was fixed to the wall. Both Jessie and Lizzie had gone from skinny to lean after months of constant work in the desert and neither of them had gained any weight back. They had each let their dark hair grow past their shoulders. Their hair could be black or deep brown depending upon the lighting. In the light of the bedroom lamp it was black.

"Pact." Lizzie said holding up her hand.

"Pact." Jessie repeated taking it.

"Blessed be." They said together, half remembering the prayer that an old hippie lady had taught them once. It was the twin’s way of making sure that they were both on the same page and Lizzie was sure they needed it now. Lizzie hoped that once life in Dollopolis settled down a bit Jessie would come around. But for now she needed The Pact to make sure her sister wouldn’t try anything crazy. The Giants weren’t a tolerant bunch.

"We’re home." Lizzie said.

"We’re home." Jessie repeated.

"Let’s make sure they love us so much we never have to leave." Lizzie said.

"Let’s make sure Simone loves us so much we never have to leave." Jessie corrected her. "She’s the one we gotta keep happy."

"Simone." Lizzie agreed.

"Pact." They said together. "Blessed be The Pact."

Jessie relaxed a bit and Lizzie felt better. If she could keep her sister in line things might turn out well. Lizzie wasn’t going to think of what might happen if they screwed up.

"Girls." Simone called.

"Coming Milady." Lizzie and Jessie said at the same time.

When they stepped out of the door to their house Lizzie and Jessie slowed down quickly. Lying on the grass in front of them were three nude women. Lizzie guessed that the two closest to them were related. The first one was a short young woman with long jet-black hair. Her face was a little flat, with thick eyebrows and a sharp nose. The girl’s jaw was square and her head sat on a thick neck. Her breasts were small and had dark brown aureoles. She was slim and between her legs was a wild tangle of dark black hair. The woman next to her was a head taller. She had dark red hair and a heavy set body, but with the same dark brown aureoles on larger breasts. Her face also had the same thick eyebrows and an equally sharp nose and square jaw. A large red triangle of hair was between her legs.

Beside the taller woman was a small, slim Asian woman with short black hair. Her face was flat, with a wide nose and thin slanted eyes. Except for her smaller breasts the Asian was the closest to Lizzie and Jessie in size and shape. There was practically no hair between her legs.

"The population is increasing." Simone said. She was standing beside the first girl.

"Milady?" Lizzie asked.

"The Giant’s have had some un-expected things come up." Simone said. "They dropped these three here and we’ll deal with them."

"Who are they?" Jessie asked, adding "milady" when Lizzie nudged her.

"Well this is Snowbelle Strongbolt." Simone said.

Snowbelle woke up as soon as she heard someone say her name. Her mind was fuzzy about the details of where she was, but her body felt different. Lighter? Heavier? Cooler? Snowbelle wasn’t sure.

Opening her eyes Snowbelle looked up at a clear blue sky with white puffy clouds. It only took a moment for her to realize they weren’t real. The slight pixelation around the edges of the clouds told her she was looking at a digital image. She looked around and saw houses, mountains, a river and a tall woman in a blue robe.

"Hello?" Snowbelle asked.

"Hello." The woman said.

"I’m here." Snowbelle said sitting up. The memory of a small blond woman dressed in green came to her mind. "I’m in Dollopolis."

"Yes you are."

"I’m naked in Dollopolis!" Snowbelle said realizing for the first time that she was nude. Snowbelle looked around and saw that she was sitting on the ground next to a Victorian house. A pair of twins dressed in black corsets and short skirts stood on the steps. Their faces were expressionless but their eyes seemed to be sizing her up.

"Oh wow." Snowbelle said standing up. "I’m naked and there’s girls. For a moment Snowbelle started to cover her self and then she let her hands drop. "Of course I’m naked, I guess clothes come later right? Sex comes first."

"Sex?" One of the twins said.

Snowbelle swallowed hard and took a step back from them. This was far different from the chat rooms and fear started to grow within her.

"Yea, I mean I’ve read all the stories, pretty girls wakes up, sex in four paragraphs tops. But not together ok? I’m… I’m really not ready for two of you. I mean I know I said I was in the chat room, more the merrier, but that was then."

"Snowbelle…" The tall woman started to speak but Snowbelle barely heard her. Suddenly memories of all of her internet chats and sw stories flooded her mind and for the first time the young woman realized what she had agreed too.

"And no whips or chains… or tying up… not yet, I’m still too young for that I think. Maybe not even sex at first… I mean we should get to know each other, you can show me around…"

"Snowbelle…" The tall woman tried again but again Snowbelle wasn’t listening.

"I’m not saying ‘no’," Snowbelle said. "I know… in my chats and such I said it’d be good to get it on right away, but that was then and I’m not really sure I’m ready yet."

"Snowbelle…"

"Not that you don’t look good." Snowbelle said, her eyes darting from the tall woman to the twins. Snowbelle could feel the flush on her face and she was sure her heart was beating like a trip hammer. Did she still have a heart? How had they shrunk her? How long had it taken? Where were the giants or the blonde? Snowbelle thought she saw disapproval in the face of the tall woman.

"I mean you look pretty good," Snowbelle said quickly taking a step back "and I’m sure I’ll learn a lot as things go forward… I mean I know we’re all girls here and that sort of implies something like Amazon relationships, but I’m still a little shy of my eighteenth birthday, at least I was when… hey what’s my sister and Nora doing her? She can’t stay can she? I’m…"

With a speed that surprised Snowbelle the tall woman in the robe was in front of her. One hand went over her mouth and the other hand went behind Snowbelle’s head. Snowbelle had never been so scared in her life. Visions of the Poison Pen stories filled her head. She would have screamed but she was too scared.

"Snowbelle calm down." The woman said. "You are in Dollopolis and only girls will live here, that does not mean you have to have sex with them."

"Uh on’t?" Snowbelle asked through the hand gag. "O ying op?"

"No tying up." The tall woman said.

"Huh." Snowbelle said and she wasn’t sure she was happy or sad. "O ex?"

"Voluntary only." The tall woman said. She took her hands away and stepped back. "Now I am Duchess Simone."

"Duchess?" Snowbelle repeated. Instantly she dropped to her knees. "Forgive me my lady, I live to serve."

Snowbelle heard giggling and looked up to see one of the twins trying to hide her laughter with a hand over her mouth. The other twin was also trying not to laugh.

"Girls." Simone warned.

The twins looked away.

"Be kind now." Simone said. "Remember how you felt when you first woke up?"

That seemed to sober them both up.

"Sorry." They said.

"Snowbelle this is Lizzie and Jessie."

"Hi." Lizzie said.

"Hey." Jessie said.

"You’re Goth aren’t you?" Snowbelle said.

"We used to be." Jessie said.

"Wow, shrunken Goths. I think the Smallifier wrote a story like that once."

"Who?" The Duchess asked.

"The Smallifier." Snowbelle said. "He writes all sorts of sw stories, really gross stuff, in the story he did with Goths they were shrunk down and sold to some guy who made them lick Jell-O off of his penis." She looked at Lizzie and Jessie. "That wasn’t you was it?"

"No way!" Lizzie said.

"Bite it off first." Jessie declared.

"Snowbelle." Simone said getting her attention again. "Try to focus for a moment. You have been shrunk, you are in Dollopolis. Now are you clear on that?"

"Yea." Snowbelle said. "And I’m naked too."

"You get used to it." Lizzie said.

"You mean I don’t get to wear cloths?" Snowbelle demanded. "Why not?"

"Snowbelle you do get to wear clothes." Simone said.

"Good." Snowbelle let out a breath she hadn’t known she was holding. A thought came to her and she glanced at the twins. "Good clothes?"

"What’s wrong with our clothes?" Jessie demanded.

"Well… they’re ok, sort of. But black isn’t my color." Snowbelle said. "I like gold and white… maybe some silk? Lots of color. Oh, and I’m allergic to wool and polyester."

"Well we got black and red." Lizzie said.

"Just that?"

"Snowbelle." Simone said and there was an edge to her voice.

"Just that." Lizzie said.

"Not even gray?"

"You want gray?" Jessie asked. "Gray is just light black."

"I want color. I don’t look good in black."

"You look good in pink skin." Jessie said.

"We could just paint you." Lizzie added.

Snowbelle blushed.

"I bet you’d look great in pastels." She snapped back.

Jessie growled and started toward her but Lizzie held her arm.

"Enough!" Simone said sharply.

Taking hold of Snowbelle’s arm she guided her over to the steps.

"Everyone sit down."

Jessie and Lizzie sat down on either side of her and pressed close. Snowbelle shifted uncomfortably. This really wasn’t like she had imagined at all. She also had the feeling that both Lizzie and Jessie were enjoying her discomfort. Snowbelle was sure of it when Lizzie put her hand on her knee and squeezed.

"Alright now this isn’t going exactly as planned." Simone said. "The Giant’s dropped Snowbelle, Nora and Julia here because of a situation they had to deal with."

"What sort of situation?" Snowbelle asked.

"Nothing that concerns you at the moment." Simone said. "And it’s ‘my lady’ Snowbelle."

"Oh. Sorry." Snowbelle said and then added "My lady."

Jeez I’m sounding dumb, Snowbelle thought to herself. I thought this would be different, hell this is like school but I’m not one of the cool kids. God what have I gotten myself into? She shifted uncomfortably as Jessie put her hand on her other knee.

"We can initiate her right milady?" Jessie asked.

"What?" Snowbelle looked at her and then quickly snapped her head around to look at Lizzie who was giggling again.

"Girls don’t tease." Simone warned.

"Sorry milady." They said together.

"Now even though we’ve had very little time to…"

"Where the hell am I?" Julia asked standing up.

"Oh great." Snowbelle said.

"Where the hell are my clothes?" Julia demanded. She looked around. "What the hell is going on."

"This is Dollopolis." Simone said.

"You!" Julia snarled spotting Snowbelle. "You and that blonde… what did you do?"

Snowbelle pulled back between the sisters and Julia started toward her.

"Stop." Simone said standing in front of her.

"I know you." Julia said.

"Yes you do." Simone said. "Now just listen to me."

"Forget it!" Julia snapped. With a quick move she drove her fist into Simone’s stomach.

Simone fell back gasping for air and Julia charged at Snowbelle. Snowbelle fell back even more, scraping her butte on the wooden porch as she tried to scramble away. Julia had always been able to beat her up and had been careful enough to only beat Snowbelle in places that wouldn’t show. Usually. But every so often Julia lost control. Seeing her charging naked up toward the steps with a look of fury on her face Snowbelle knew her sister had lost it. She screamed and fell over her own feet trying to get up to run away. Lizzie and Jessie reacted differently. With cries of outrage they leapt off of the porch and tackled Julia. They three of them went down but Julia knew how to wrestle. She elbowed Lizzie in the neck, Lizzie fell back choking and Julia reached forward and grabbed Jessie’s ankle.

"I’m going to break this foot off and beat you with it." Julia snarled at Snowbelle. Jessie screamed as Julia twisted her ankle. Snowbelle found herself paralyzed with fear.

"Stop!" Simone’s voice was so full of anger that Julia nearly let Lizzie go.

"Come on!" Julia shouted twisting so that she could look at Simone. "You want me?"

"By royal command," Simone said putting her hands over her head "I wish to be taller!"

Snowbelle felt her heart stop. The air shimmered around Simone for a moment and there was a tearing sound as she grew out of her robe. It took less than a second of time and suddenly Simone was twice as tall as Julia.

Julia was so surprised she lost her grip on Jessie’s ankle. Jessie kicked away from her and rolled over to her sister.

"What the hell are you?" Julia said getting to her feet.

"I am the Duchess of Dollopolis!" Simone snarled. She seized both of Julia’s wrist and held them.

"Let me go you giant bitch!" Julia shouted. She pulled and twisted but Simone’s greater size also came with greater strength. She held onto Julia’s wrist and lifted her off of the ground.

"Jessie, Lizzie, grab her legs." Simone ordered.

Jessie and Lizzie each stood up and grabbed one of Julia’s legs. Simone shifted her hold and tucked Julia under her arm. She held the struggling woman easily.

"To the stocks!" Simone cried.

They started walking and after a moment Snowbelle followed them. Her mind was still reeling from what she had seen. It still seemed unreal to her, even as she followed them up a hill. Simone had just… grown. Just like that.

"Would that work for me?" Snowbelle asked aloud, but the others were too far ahead to hear her and she was afraid to ask again. What if Jessie and Lizzie could do that and she couldn’t? Snowbelle swallowed hard and instinctively looked around for somewhere to hide. She had climbed high enough to get her first real look at Dollopolis.

It was stranger than she had ever imagined. No place she had seen in her fangirl live compared to it. Not the cities from Star Wars or Star Trek, or even the Domed City from Logan’s Run. Snowbelle realized that those were stage sets, matte paintings. This was a real place.

She kept walking up the hill after the others and more details were revealed. From the higher vantagepoint she could see the general shape of Dollopolis. A giant letter ‘U’ bordered on the out side by mountains and the inside by a river. There were houses and fields and trees, but no birds, no insects. She climbed at an angle and as she moved along she could see the back of the Victorian. Snowbelle couldn’t help but gasp. The back of the house was completely open. It was a dollhouse. Someone, a tall, a very tall person if they stood on the outside of the U could see everything that happened in every room of that house. If they were tall enough they could reach right into the house. All of the houses that Snowbelle could see were like that.

"I’m going to live in one of those houses!" Snowbelle whispered. "I’m going to be a doll! A living doll! Giant’s will be able to play with me whenever they want to! They’ll be able to do whatever they want to me!"

Snowbelle felt her own body respond to that last thought as if every sexual feeling she had ever had was hitting her at once. It was thrilling, it was terrifying, it was everything Snowbelle had dreamed of and every nightmare she had ever had. She felt as if she was on the top of a diving board, but the board was so high she couldn’t tell if there was enough, or any, water in the pool. In her mind she could feel hands, impossibly large hands pick her up. She could feel fingers larger around than her arms touch her body, touch places on her body…

The sound of a struggle broke the fantasy and Snowbelle turned around. On a rise overlooking Dollopolis was a platform. It might have been an old fashion gallows, but instead of a hangman’s noose there was a set of stocks at the top. A large ‘T’ with curved places for a persons arms and neck. At the bottom of the steps Julia had managed somehow to break away from Lizzie and Jessie. But Simone wasn’t letting go. Snowbelle had seen her sister wrestle men and woman, but never like this. Julia was a little person against a big person and she was loosing. It was like all the times she had manhandled Snowbelle. She squirmed and twisted her naked body against Simone’s, but Simone never released her hold on Julia’s wrist. The size seemed to give Simone greater stamina because after a few minutes Julia tired and slowed. As soon as she did so Lizzie and Jessie charged in and again grabbed her legs.

"Up we go!" Simone cried.

Snowbelle watched as her sister was carried up the steps and forced into the stocks. Lizzie and Jessie held her legs while Simone forced her arms into the holes and strapped them in and then did the same to her head. As Simone closed the wooden part over her neck and wrist Lizzie and Jessie strapped Julia’s legs onto the platform.

Her sister was helpless. It was something that Snowbelle had often dreamed of seeing. But the way it had been done went beyond her dreams. She was helpless but not silent. Julia screamed for all she was worth, using words that Snowbelle had never heard anyone use before. On the platform Simone said something to Lizzie and she nodded and climbed down the steps.

"She used to beat you up?" Lizzie said walking over to Snowbelle.

"Yea." Snowbelle said. "If I broke the rules."

A look passed over Lizzie’s face, Snowbelle wasn’t sure what it was. Understanding? Pity?

"Duchess wants you up there." Lizzie said putting her arm around Snowbelle.

"Me?"

"You."

Snowbelle went up the stairs slowly but Lizzie didn’t push her. Snowbelle’s reaction to her sister’s anger had told Lizzie all she had needed to know. Lizzie had seen that same reaction from Jessie far too many times. Their father had beaten them both; often times on a whim. She had sympathy for anyone who went through the same thing. It was enough sympathy for her to get over her initial resentment over Snowbelle’s attitude. Lizzie had seen that attitude from too many girls in the mall and at school. From Girls who thought themselves better than Lizzie and Jessie because they had real homes and money. Lizzie had never guessed that private hells could exist in any ones life, even the life of a rich person. Then she saw how Simone’s brother had treated her. Chained up and taunted, held prisoner in her own room.

You’re one of us, Lizzie thought as Snowbelle climbed the stairs.

"Well Snowbelle this is not how I thought the first day would go." Simone said as Lizzie and Snowbelle walked onto the platform. "But it is a good demonstration of punishment."

"Let me out of this you bitches!" Julia screamed.

Simone picked up a wooden paddle from the side of the platform and spanked Julia hard on the ass. Lizzie grabbed Snowbelle who jumped back as Julia screamed.

"This sort of thing will not be done lightly." Simone said continuing the spanking and ignoring Julia’s screams.

She kept spanking the smaller woman and Lizzie kept her arm around Snowbelle to keep her still. Lizzie was reminded of the times that The Giant’s, the full sized Giant’s, had spanked her and Jessie. This was different somehow, more intense. Simone was only twice as tall as Julia was. For some reason that seemed to make the spanking more intense. It was less the retribution of gods than the anger of a higher authority.

Lizzie didn’t reason this out consciously; rather she understood it on some instinctive level. As Julia cried out in final defeat, Lizzie suddenly realized that Simone was truly a power in Dollopolis. Not as powerful as The Giant’s were, but a power in her own right.

"But it will be done when it has to be." Simone said putting the paddle down. "Dollopolis will be a nice place girls. We’ll…"

A scream interrupted her and they all looked back down the hill to see Nora standing up and looking at them.

"Oh bother I’ll never get through this speech will I? Simone said.

"We better go talk to her my lady." Snowbelle said.

"We’ll have to move fast then." Lizzie said pointing. Nora had started to run and was picking up speed.

"Go get her girls and bring her back to your house, but do it gently. I’ll go and make sure she can’t get into the castle.

"Come on." Lizzie said giving Snowbelle a pull.

"But I’m still naked." Snowbelle said.

"We’ll make you something later." Jessie said.

"Lot’s of color." Lizzie promised.

"I can’t run naked!"

"Go!" Simone ordered. "Before she runs off of the edge!"

Lizzie gave Snowbelle another tug and this time Snowbelle moved.

Snowbelle wasn’t sure when it had happened but she realized that Lizzie and Jessie weren’t mad at her anymore. But then she wasn’t sure why they had been mad in the first place. She had little time to deal with her feelings though because soon all of her mind was focused on running. Snowbelle had never run around naked before. It was different.

I’m glad my boobs aren’t as big as I wanted them to be, she thought. As it was, her breasts bounced a bit but not enough to distract her. The feeling of the ground under her feet was strange enough. She felt every pebble and blade of grass. And there were a lot of both. The geography of Dollopolis seemed to be made up of houses, hills, valleys, copses and streams. And Nora was tearing through them at an incredible pace. Jessie and Lizzie kept up with her but Snowbelle soon fell behind.

"Where’d she go?" Snowbelle asked breaking though a gap in some bushes. Lizzie and Jessie were stopped in front of her.

"Hell if I know." Jessie said falling to her knees and holding her side.

"Man she’s fast." Lizzie said as they paused for a moment. She too was breathing hard and holding her side.

"Maybe they’d shrink some horses for this sort of thing." Snowbelle said. She wasn’t as winded as Jessie and Lizzie. "Like Planet of the Apes."

"You don’t ask for that sort of stuff." Jessie said.

"You don’t get them mad." Lizzie agreed.

"There she is!" Snowbelle shouted pointing. Nora had just come out from behind the back of a tree.

"Go get her girl." Lizzie wheezed.

Snowbelle needed no further urging and took off. It took her a few minutes to realize that Lizzie and Jessie weren’t with her. Ignoring that she kept running, trying to pace herself. Nora was beginning to tire. Snowbelle tried to call out to her but was too out of breath herself. She came to the top of a hill and skidded to a stop. Before her was a waterfall-fed river. Nora was no where to be seen.

"Nora!" Snowbelle called breathlessly. "Nora trust me it’s ok!"

Snowbelle heard a scream behind her and turned just as Nora leapt from a tree branch and attacked.

"Nora stop!" Snowbelle screamed as they both stumbled back.

"Not your toy slave!" Nora screamed back. "Never be toy again!"

With blows and kicks and her face a mask of fear and rage Nora forced Snowbelle back into the water. Snowbelle had never seen her so mad before. Taking a cue from her sister Snowbelle grabbed Nora around the waist and tried to force her to the ground. But Nora twisted and they fell back into the river. A few steps into it and they both fell under the water. It was ice cold and Snowbelle stumbled to her feet at the same time Nora climbed to hers.

"Listen to me!" Snowbelle shouted.

"Never be a toy again!" Nora screamed.

"Hold on Snowy!" Lizzie shouted.

Nora turned and Snowbelle looked up in time to see Jessie and Lizzie charge into the water. Their charge carried them into Nora and then into Snowbelle and they all fell into the deeper water. Snowbelle realized there was no sand under her feet and that the current was taking them along with it. She hoped everyone could swim.

"That will be enough of that." A voice said.

Snowbelle felt a warm hand take hold of her and she was lifted out of the water.

Nora’s screams perfectly matched Snowbelle’s sudden terror. The woman who had picked her out of the water was a true giant. Snowbelle fit into her hand and her fingers, the fingers of Snowbelle’s dreams and nightmares, were warm and powerful. The woman was pretty, with a narrow face and blonde hair. Her blue eyes were intense and frightening. Nora fainted but Snowbelle held onto consciousness. The land that she had run over just a few minutes before fell away. With dizzying speed she was carried over it, over the hills and houses. Snowbelle’s stomach lurched and her mind was too shocked to take in what her eyes saw. In less than a minute she was put down again in front of the Victorian house. The fingers let go of her and she felt suddenly cold as they placed her gently onto the grass.

"Sorry to spoil your fun ladies." Another woman said coming up to stand beside the first one. Snowbelle watched as she put Lizzie, Jessie and an unconscious Nora onto the grass. The second giant was the twin of the first one.

"But we have a mission for you." Said the first woman.

Jessie gave out a short scream and that told Snowbelle everything she wanted to know about the mission. But at the same time Snowbelle realized that if a being twenty times your size wanted you to do something there wasn’t a lot you could do about it.

"They would often strip me naked from Top to Toe, and lay me at full length in their bosoms." Snowbelle whispered the quote from Gulliver’s Voyage to Brobdingnag and for the first time truly realized how he had felt.

Lizzie raised her hand, stepping in front of her still prone sister. One of the giants nodded.

"We’re here to serve mistress." Lizzie said.

Me too? Snowbelle wondered but kept the question to herself.

"We all are girls." Simone said as a man put her down beside them. She was once again twelve inches tall and wearing another purple gown. Simone put a cloak over Snowbelle’s shivering shoulders.

"We all are." She repeated hugging Snowbelle.

…To be continued.
