Issue 15 – Stella in the Pits of H.E.L.L.

“Me Stupor Man love Stellar Girl!”  The monster shouted as he punched the blond heroine through another building.  “Me want to be friend!”

“Well you have a funny way of showing it!”  She punched him back, sending the misshapen duplicate of Stellar Man flying across down right into the St. Giffin River.

Stella dusted herself off and got back up.

“Minx, he’s so strong.  What are we going to do?”

***

Stupor Man – Years ago an experimental ray created Stupor Man, an imperfect duplicate of the heroic Stellar Man.  The copy had all of Stellar Man’s powers but was completely insane.  In the twisted logic of the misshapen copy he had to do everything the opposite way that Stellar Man did.  Stellar Man finally rid the world of the menace of Stupor Man by convincing him that since Stellar Man lived on Earth, Stupor Man had to live in space so he could be a true opposite.  – The Kirby Guide to Supervillains, 1971 Edition

Stellar Man’s plan had worked for a while.

But now Stupor Man was back, and he’d decided he was in love with Stella!

***

“Stella, I have a plan, but you need to keep him busy for about five more minutes.”  The Minx whispered, knowing her partner could hear her.

“OK Minx, but hurry!  He’s even stronger than I am!”

Stupor Man surged out of the river and flew straight at Stella.  “You am really like me!  Me like you!”  Before the blonde could react he punched her and sent her flying across town.  She landed in an old tenement in the west side.

“Ow…”

BAM!  Stupor Man landed, straddling her, his blood-red briefs poised above her red hotpants.  “Now we made babies!”

“Oh yuk…”  Stella took a deep breath and blew as hard as she could.  Stupor Man was blown back into the sky.  Stella wearily took off after him to continue the battle.  She punched him twice in the face and flew backwards to escape his embracing arms.

“You am really like to me!”

Stella darted out of his way and the idiotic copy plowed into the side of an apartment house.  The wall shattered, people screamed.

“Stars and comets no!”  She flew through the shattered wall but Stupor Man was waiting for her with a bear hug.

“Baby time!”  He yelled and squeezed the slender heroine hard enough to drive the breath from her lungs.  One misshapen, tumor-covered hand reached lower for her yellow belt and red hotpants.  Stella’s eyes went wide.

“MINX!  HELP!”

“It’s OK.  I’m here!  Hey Stupor Man!  I got something for you!”

“Uh?”  The twisted simpleton turned and walked to the smashed wall.

The Minx was waiting on the street below and Stella was next to her.  But Stellar Girl was in his arms?  Huh?

“Got something for you Stupor Man.  You don’t want her, she’s Stellar Girl.  I have Stupor Girl!”

Stupor Man took a step forward and fell twenty stories.  The pavement shattered under his feet.  He took another step forward.

It was a mannequin, dressed in red hotpants and a blue top.  A red towel was tied around her shoulders and a red ‘S’ was crudely drawn on left breast in lipstick.

She was so beautiful!

He dropped Stella leaving the blonde gasping for breath and picked up Stupor Girl.

“Me love to you Stupor Girl!”  He shouted.

“I can see.  And trust me, she loves you too.”  Said the Minx.  “But the important thing about her is you have to take her into space with you, otherwise you’re being just like Stellar Man who left Stella on Earth.  You have to do the opposite.”

“Yes, me Stupor Man hate to Earth, me and Stupor Girl love to space.  We go space and make babies!  Up!  Up!  And goodbye!”

He shot into the air like a rocked and vanished, the mannequin still lovingly cradled in his arms.

“Whew.  How long do you think that will last?”

“With him, who knows?  But I think I convinced him you’re off limits at least.  In his twisted mind he can’t love anything normal.”

“Well that’s something, it’s hard enough fighting a creep like that without him yelling ‘me love you’ and trying to get in my pants.”

“I thought you were more powerful than him.”

“Nope.  Stellar Man was stronger than him because he could manipulate gravity waves and all that stuff.  Stupor Man and I just have our physical strength and he’s bigger and stronger than me.”

“Well let’s hope he stays away for a good long time then.”

***

“Heard that Jefferson?”

“About her being weaker than Stellar Man?  Yeah Hamilton I caught it.  Good to hear.  Physically Stellar Man was bad enough, but add in that planet moving B-S and it’s a whole ‘nother ball game.”

“I wonder just how strong she is when you get down to it?  Ever been tested?”

“Nope.”

“Hmm…”

“Y’know we do have next week free.”

***

Two men, one tall and skinny, the other short and balding walked through the gates of Stone Munitions.  The guard didn’t challenge them.

They were wearing cheap blue suits, about 20 years out of date, and matching fedoras.  They took the elevator to the top floor, brushed past the secretary Sugar Kane and barged into the office of Arnold Stone himself.

“Huh?”  The millionaire weapons-maker sat up in his chair.

The visitors didn’t wait for an invitation; they walked around his massive desk and faced the man directly.

“Arnold Stone, a.k.a. Armor Man, your government needs your services.”

“What?  Me?  Armor Man?  You must be joking.  Armor Man is my bodyguard, I hired him.”

“So where is he?  How come you two are never seen together?  And how come you’re wearing Armor Man’s breastplate under your suit?”  The agent reached down and tore open Stone’s hand-tailored shirt exposing the red iron breastplate under it.

“I, um, that is… Fuck.”  He admitted defeat.

“Your country needs you Stone.”

“My country always needs me.  Last time it needed me I got a ticket to Vietnam, shrapnel in my heart and a stay in a Viet Cong prison camp.”

“Where you built yourself a suit of high-tech armor and blasted your way out.  Not too shabby.  Any chance of you selling those designs to Uncle Sam?”

“Not a chance.  So why don’t you two just make like a tree and leave.  It’s time for my 10 o’clock martini.”

“This is bullshit.”  Jefferson held up a blank paper, strange colors danced in his eyes.  “Your mind will perceive this paper as saying whatever you need to be convinced.” He commanded.

Stone’s face relaxed, he studied the paper intently.  “NSA huh?  That check has a lot of zeros.”

“Just something to cover your expenses.  We need you test something at that secret lab you have out west.”

“A new weapon?”

“You might say that.”

***

And a week after that…

“Help me!  Help me!  Save me!”

The Minx’s ears perked up, the cries were close by, it sounded like a little girl.  She took off across the rooftops in a full run.

She could see the girl now, she looked like she was about seven years old, lying on her back and crying.

“Help me!  Help me!  Save me!”  She yelled again.

The Minx landed gracefully and crouched in front of the girl.  “It’s OK sweetie, it’s OK.  What’s wrong, where’s your mommy and daddy?”

“I don’t have parents.”  The little girl sobbed.

“Oh that’s a-“

SNAP, the girl’s hands locked around the Minx’s wrists like steel.  She tried to pull away but the small girl weighed a ton.

“I don’t have parents you dumb bitch, because I’m a robot built to sucker you.”

ZAP!  A million volts shot through the Minx’s body.  She was unconscious before she knew it.

A trapdoor opened and the two descended into the room below.  Arnold Stone was waiting.

“Well that was easy.”  He kicked the Minx’s prostrate form.  “Y’know sweetie, I always figured you were overrated.”  He looked at her well-formed legs splayed below him.

“Well, overrated in some ways anyway.”

He smiled, what the heck, she was out anyway.  He ran a hand along the long toned legs.    “And I always did wonder what you wore under that coat…”

He started to take her coat off…

After all he had a few hours to kill.

***

“Hey Gloria?  I’m going to school now, are you up?”  Lynn Lewis knocked on her partner’s door again but there was no answer.  Weird, even after patrolling all night Gloria was always awake before Lynn.  Her blue eyes turned a paler shade and she looked through the wall.  The bed was made, it hadn’t been slept in.

“Huh.  I guess she’s still on patrol then.”  Lynn headed for the shower.

***

“Hello?”  The Minx woke up and opened her eyes.  It was pitch black.  She moved her arm.  It hit steel.  She pushed with her leg, steel again.  She rolled over, she couldn’t.  She felt around in the darkness.  She was inside a steel sphere, just a few feet across.  There was no light, no door or hatch.  And she was naked.  And sore.

“Uh-oh.”  She muttered.

This was bad.

Very, very bad.

***

Stella had a headache all day.  She took aspirin but it didn’t help.  It was like there was some buzzing inside her brain and she just couldn’t get it to stop.

“What was that?”

“I didn’t say anything.”

“Oh, sorry.  I thought I heard… could you excuse me a second?”

“Sure thing, your weak bladder bothering you again?”

“Um, something like that…”  She ran up the stairs heading for the roof.  “Stupid secret identity, stupid alibi, stupid school…” she muttered.  On the roof she changed clothes in a blur and took to the skies.  There, away from kids, away from traffic and other sounds she could almost make it out.

Stella I know you can hear….”  She concentrated, tuning her stellar senses like a radio.  “Stella I know you can hear this ultrasonic transmission.  I am Robo-Master.  I have your partner the Minx.  Come immediately to these coordinates or she will die.”

“Oh crap.”

***

It took Stella a half hour in the school library to figure out where she was supposed to go.  “How come these villains always figure I’ve got longitude and latitude memorized?”  She muttered.  “Stars and comets I hope I read that map right.”

She was somewhere over the New Mexico desert.  Mesas rose out of the sand and there was no sign of human habitation for hundreds of miles.

Stella’s bright blue eyes turned pale as x-rays probed the mesas for anything suspicious.  She soon found one honeycombed with a series of lead-lined tunnels.  “That must be the place” she whispered.  “Please be OK Gloria, please.”

A trap door opened on the cliff side.  A dozen high-tech missiles shot towards Stella.

The girl of the stars easily dodged them but they did a quick 180 and headed for her again.

“Stars and comets, they must have some kind of radar or something.”

Then the first one exploded.  White hot napalm showed the blonde, getting in her face, in her lungs, covering her skin.  Stella screamed as more of the missiles showered her.  Her invulnerable skin wasn’t harmed of course but she could feel the flames, feel the heat.  She fell from the skies spinning madly; she buried herself in the hot desert sands drilling deep into the Earth before finally emerging panting for breath.

Her skin was flushed like she had a mild sunburn.  Her costume was stained with soot, sand and dirt.  Her hair matted with perspiration and filth.  She could feel the grit in her hotpants.  She was panting.  She spat.

“OK then.  So that’s how it’s gonna be huh?”

Then the lasers opened fire.

***

The Minx had explored every centimeter of her cell with her fingertips.  She’d rapped everything with her knuckles, her keen ears and infallible memory comparing each subtle sound.  She’d found the handful of openings, each smaller than a penny, to let air in.  No help there.  She finally found a place that sounded hollow.  Maybe a locking mechanism?

Gloria wasn’t happy with what would come next, but she had to do it.  She reached into her own mouth and pulled at one of her teeth.  It hurt like hell but she finally pried it loose.  The tooth was fake of course.  And it concealed a diamond-tipped cutter.  She started scratching at the iron wall.

***

“HEY!”  Stella yelled.  One of the lasers had actually burned a cigarette-sized hole in her blouse!  It was time to put a stop to that!

Faster than sound, she flew up and smashed the laser cannons concealed on the side of the mesa.  The cannons were just steel, they shattered easily in her hands.

“Is that the best you’ve got?  I’m not even sweating yet.”  She tried to hide it but she was exhausted.  The effort of flying way out here, the irritation of the ultrasonic signal, the pain of the napalm and now the lasers had left her feeling exhausted.  “So Robo-Mister, are you going to show yourself or-“

Stella’s words were cut off as dozens of steel tentacles slithered out of the mountain and wrapped themselves around her.  She punched and smashed one, but for everyone she destroyed it seemed like two more took their place.  They pulled her through a trap door inside the mountain.  She was held over a metal shaft that went deep into the Earth.

“HA!  Now I know where you are!”  She started to spin in midair.  One by one the tentacles snapped and in seconds she was free.

“Ha!  Free!  Look out Robo-Mister; I’m coming to get y-OW! “

Stella’s words were cut off again when a heavy metal slug hit her right between the eyes.  The world went dark for a second and she started to fall.

Stella tumbled head over heels; her cape swirled around her becoming a shroud as she fell over a thousand feet.

SLAM!

Stella hit the floor with enough force to dent the steel plating.  She staggered to her feet, untangling herself from her indestructible cape.

“Uh… OK, OK, you got your shots in and now, AH!”

Stella’s super senses reeled.  Ultrasonics bombarded her ears, strobe lights firing as bright as the sun exploded in her eyes, the steel room’s temperature shot up past 500 degrees, the floor tilted left then right.  The girl of the stars weaved from side to side screaming.

BAM!

She never even saw the robot enter the room.  But she sure felt its steel fist hit her in the face.  Stella tasted something salty in her mouth.  Blood.

BAM!
Another blow struck her temple.  She opened her eyes despite the pain and caught a glimpse of a metal fist descending for the third time.

BAM!

She staggered back.

BAM!
The blow hit her in the stomach and sent her into the air.  She hit the wall with a thud and slid to the floor.

“Puh-please…”  She muttered.

The robot grabbed her long blond hair and pulled.  Stella squealed in pain.  The robot’s arm swung the screaming heroine by the hair and slammed her into the metal wall.

BAM!

“no…”  She whispered.

The robot grabbed her ankle and lifted her again.

SLAM!

She hit the steel floor face-first.

“stop…”

SLAM!

“please…”

SLAM!

It was the last sound she heard.

***

Scratch-scratch, scratch-scratch

It was the only sound the Minx could hear.  That and the beating of her own heart.

The Minx felt like she’d been working on the iron ball for hours yet she could barely feel the gash with her fingertips.  She scowled and got back to work.

***

“Oh… Stars and comets… what hit me?”

Stella painfully opened her eyes and winced at the bright light.  Her head felt like bombs were going off in it.  She tried to raise an arm to block the light.

Her arm didn’t move.  Something strong was holding it.

“Mmph” she grunted, using her stellar strength.  It still didn’t move.  She started to fear.  She tired to move her legs; they too were locked in place.  She squinted and looked.

“Oh stars and comets no…”

She was still in her costume, lying on some sort of high-tech platform.  Her arms were straight out, her legs spread in a wide V.  Steel pillars descended from the ceiling and wrapped around her wrists and ankles before falling to the floor.  She pulled and pushed but they wouldn’t budge.  She narrowed her eyes and focused her stellar sight on them.  Heat beams stabbed out but the pillars were unharmed.  Stella started to hyperventilate, for all her power, she was completely helpless.

She looked around the room, a sign hung on the wall: “High Energy Laser Laboratory - H.E.L.L.”  A very appropriate name.

“HELP!”  She yelled.  “Gloria!  Cousin Ken!  Someone help me!  Help me!  Please!”

***

Far away, two men watch over CCTV.

“Wow Jefferson, she really is dumb.”

“Hmm?”

“Waking up in a villain’s lair and yelling out her friend’s secret identities.”

“So Hamilton?  We already know those.”

“Yeah but she doesn’t know that.”

“Good point.  Guess it’s time for our villain to appear.”

***

“Awake I see?  Excellent.”

Stella twisted her head to see the intruder.  He was a robot, or a man in armor, completely covered by the same shinny metal her bonds were made of.

“L-let me go!”  Her voice cracked.  “Or… or else!”

The intruder chuckled dryly.

“I mean it!”

“Do you Stella?  What are you threatening me with?  You’re completely helpless in my grasp.”

“Oh yeah?”  She squinted her eyes again, the heat beams stabbed out at his face, hot enough to melt steel, vaporize flesh.  Nothing happened.

“Ceramic coating sweetheart, the same stuff they use on space capsules.  Completely resistant to heat.  And the columns are titanium steel, the same stuff they’re using for that new Abrams tank.  Strongest metal in the world reinforced with hydraulics and electromagnets that take up half the mountain.  You’re not going anywhere.”

Stella scowled, puckered her lips, puffed her cheeks and blew.  Super-compressed air shot from her lungs with the force of a hurricane, enough power to knock over a skyscraper, to turn a human being into jelly.

The intruder didn’t budge.

“Magnetic boots sweety.  You can’t knock me over that way.”

Tears appeared in Stella’s eyes.  “Who are you?  Why are you doing this to me?”  She sobbed.

“You can call me… the Robo-Master!  And we are going to become quite familiar Stella, intimately so.”

SNIK!  A shinny rod popped out of his arm.  One side started to glow a bright red.

Robo-Master ran his gauntleted fingers through Stella’s blond hair; he gave it a sharp yank.

“Ow!”

“I just pulled your hair with enough force to tear through steel and you barely felt it.  I see it’s just as tough as your pretty skin.”

“Y-yes?”  Stella answered hesitantly.

“Let’s see how tough.”  He pulled a lock of hair taunt and swung the glowing red blade.  It cut through the golden locks like paper.  Robo-Master held the hair over Stella’s shocked face and let it fall.

“Guess you’re not so tough after all.  This is a laser-cutter.  The edge has a gigawatt laser beam running along it, thousands and thousands of degrees.  Hot enough to cut your hair I see.  I wonder if it’s hot enough for your skin?”

“What?  No!  Please… please no!”

He slowly lowered the cutter towards her cheek.  Stella could feel the heat from it, her teeth chattered, her eyes were wild.  “Please!  What do you want?  What do you want?  AHH!”

Robo-Master raised the cutter.  It had left a neat red burn along Stella’s left cheek.  Stella looked up at it in shock.  It had hurt her.  A weapon had hurt her!  No magic, no green stellar radiation, just a human weapon.  This man could trap her.  He could hurt her.  He could kill her!  Fear gripped the girl of the stars stronger than ever before.

“What do I want?  That’s a good question.  Very good.  I want many things.  I want to see my robotic legions march through the burning streets of Washington and Moscow.  I want to see the leaders of the world kneel before me.  I want to hear the screams of millions.  But before I can have any of that, there are some obstacles I must remove.  And you Stella, are one of them.”

“But…”

“You’re strong, no question about that.  And tough.  You stood up to the best weapons I had.  But now we’ll see how strong, how tough.  And see what’s left of you when I’m done.”

“Please…”

***

CLINK

A rectangle finally came loose and fell.  The Minx breathed a sigh of relief.  Her arms ached, her mouth was as dry as the Sahara, her fingers were blistered.  She looked inside.

“OW!”  After all this time in the dark the light was as bright as the sun.  Her eyes adjusted and she could see it.  An LED computer screen and wires.  An electronic lock.  She sighed.  This could take a while.

***

Robo-Master walked away from Stella’s crying face and ran his metal hand along her blue top, pushing down to feel her skinny body through the thin material.  Stella squirmed.  Finally he reached the yellow belt that divided the blue top from the tiny red hotpants that barely covered her ass.

He unbuckled the belt and tossed it aside.

“What are you doing?!”  Stella shrieked.

“Hold still Stella, or you might get hurt.”

“What?!”

The laser cutter sprang out again and Robo-Master lowered it to the side of Stella’s hotpants.  He started to cut along the seam.

“No!  Wait!”  She squirmed again, her hip touched the cutter, she screamed.

“I warned you.”  Robo-Master finished cutting through the seam and moved to the other side of the squirming heroine.  He started on the other seam.  This time Stella was careful to remain still.  She didn’t want to get hurt.  Robo-Master pulled the hotpants from her body with a flourish and tossed them a corner.  Stella was naked under them.  Her hip bones were clearly visible on her skinny frame, her blond bush and pink labia glowed with perspiration.

“Um… now what?”  She asked hesitantly.

Robo-Master’s metal face could not change expression of course, but somehow Stella knew he was smiling.

“Patience sweetie.  Patience.”

He gestured and a motorized cart rolled up from the side of the room.  He set up the apparatus between Stella’s spread legs.  A long metal rod aimed itself between her legs.

“No!  Wait!”

Robo-Master hit a button and the rod shot forward with incredible force.

“AHHH!”

Stella tried to squeeze the unwelcome intruder out, tried to shift her pelvis away, tired to do something, anything to escape but it was hopeless.  The rod impaled her.

Robo-Master hit another button and it started to retract, only to thrust back in harder and deeper than before.

For all of her stellar powers there was nothing Stella could do but scream loud enough to shake the mountain.

***

The Minx stopped.  She thought she’d heard something, it sounded like a scream.  She listened closer but it was gone.  Perhaps it was just a hallucination caused by hunger, exhaustion, and sensory deprivation.  After carefully crossing wires and playing with the circuits she was able to manipulate the LED screen, it now said 314.  With each number she had heard clicks somewhere in the locking mechanism.

She was making progress.

***

Stella was sobbing incoherently, her body shaking with each thrust, her modest breasts quivering under her top.

Then it stopped.  Stella opened her eyes hopefully.

Then she squeezed them shut again.

Robo-Master was setting up another rod between her legs, this one lower, aimed up at a 45 degree angle.  She squeezed her legs and clenched her ass as hard as she could.

Robo-Master put a hand on her pelvis.  “Now let’s see how strong you really are.”

The rod started to spin like a drill and rise towards her helpless asshole.

***

“What’s the point of this again?”  Hamilton asked.

“You mean besides the obvious?”  Jefferson chuckled.

“Yeah, besides that.”

“OK, we already know she’s no where near Stellar Man’s level in, well anything.  She’s pretty tough but not exactly moving planets.”

“Right we already know that.”

“Or do we?  What if she could move planets but just hasn’t realized it yet?  What if the only reason she hasn’t is because she’s been psychologically holding herself back?  You read her psych profile.  You know it could be true.  So we have to test her to the limit.  Push her until she breaks through her psychological barriers.”

“And then what?  Do we want a goddess-like heroine flying around with the baggage Stella has?”

“Oh fuck no.  Then we kill her.  Flood the room with green stellar radiation and blow her head off with a magic bullet.  Quick and clean.”

“And did you tell Arnold Stone any of this?”

“Fuck no.”

“So why’s he doing it?”

“Oh he’s just a freak.”

***

“Fuck.”

The Minx’s aching fingers had slipped again, resetting the lock.  She wiggled them and started again.  She had to start over.  The combination was equal to the value of pi.  But the number pi was endless, even the Minx had only memorized it to four thousand places.  So far the combination was over 50 digits long.  She wondered how much longer she could keep going.

***

Stella could not believe the pain!

She’d been hurt before, by green stellar radiation, by magic, by the fists of villains stronger than her, but never like this.

She pushed and squeezed as much as she could but the probe continued to advance stretching her sphincter bit by bit.  Exhausted she relaxed for a second and screamed as it advanced a full inch.  She strained at her bonds but they didn’t give.  She tried to fly but could only rise a bit off the platform.  Then the probes stopped.  They were still lodged in her cunt and ass but at least they stopped moving.

She sighed and opened her eyes.  Robo-Master’s expressionless metal face was hovering over her, he lowered a bottle of water and let her take a sip she gulped it down eagerly.

“Now that wasn’t so bad was it?”

“Why… why… oh please let me go… I promise I won’t tell anyone… I’ll do whatever you want…”

“Really now?”

“Please, it’s not my fault.  I didn’t want to be Stellar Girl, I didn’t.  I won’t fight you, I promise.”

“What’s your name sweet cakes?”

“My name?”  Stella saw Robo-Master reach for a button.  “LYNN!  Lynn Lewis!  My name is Lynn Lewis!  Really!  I swear!”

“That’s better.  So how did you get into this gig anyway Lynn Lewis?”

“My cousin, Stellar Man, he gave me his powers because he got my parents killed.”

“And what’s Stellar Man’s name?”

Stella opened her mouth but couldn’t say it.  All her life she’d been taught never to give away Stellar Man’s secret identity, even now she couldn’t say it.

Robo-Master sighed and pushed the button.

Stella screamed.

***

The Minx thought she heard it again.  Another scream.  She ignored it, she needed to focus.  She couldn’t even feel her legs anymore.  She’d coaxed her sore fingers into inputting 99 digits.  She spliced the wires again, wincing at the spark that burned her fingers again and input the hundredth digit.

CLICK!

CLICK-CLICK-CLICK!

Vmmm!

The Minx gasped.  The iron sphere was opening!  Cracking like an egg on its vertical axis.  A crack appeared and she fell through it, hitting the metal floor.  She threw an arm over her eyes to keep herself from being blinded.  She lay there, her legs twitching, shivering, sweating, happy to be free, afraid of what might come next.

***

“KEN CLARKE!  Stellar Man is Ken Clarke!”  She screamed again and again until the rape machine finally stopped.

“Say it again.”

“Stellar Man, he’s my cousin Ken Clarke, reporter for the Daily Comet, he uses stellar hypnosis so no one notices they look alike, stars and comets I swear that’s the truth, I swear it.”

“Hmm, possible, possible.  There certainly were enough rumors about the two of them.  But how can I test it when Stellar Man and Clarke disappeared a year ago.  Tell me, when is Stellar Man returning?”

Stella hesitated a second but saw Robo-Master reach for his machine again.  “He’s not!  He’s not coming back!”

“Really?  We’re talking about a guy who could hear a gnat’s fart on the moon, and you say he’s not coming back to save you?”

“He… HE’S DEAD!”

Robo-Master froze.

“Dead?”

“Dead.  I killed him.  Minx and I dumped his body in the sun.  We faked that whole goodbye speech with robots.  I’m sorry… I’m sorry…”

Robo-Master offered her some more water, she swallowed it greedily.

“It’s OK.”

***

“Whoa.”

“Damn.”

“Did she say she killed him?  Wow.  I tell you Hamilton, that girl has issues.”

“I’ll say.  Geeze.  Maybe we should get rid of her now.  I mean killing Stellar Man?  Her idol?  The finest hero in the world?  That’s the kind of threat we’re supposed to be getting rid of.  That’s a lot scarier than the Liberator and the American Dream getting involved in that civil rights B-S.  Don’t forget her and her partner are into that whole women’s lib thing.”

“Yeah, but we already know she’s pretty messed up.  Hell she might crack up on her own and bring down that women’s lib crap on her own.”

“Speaking of women’s lib, how’s Foxy doing?”

***

Slowly the Minx rose to her knees and moved her arm down.  She cracked her eyes open bit by bit.  A high-tech control room came into view.  She saw the H.E.L.L. sign and nodded.  Good name.

She rose to her feet; the metal floor was cold to her bare soles.  Her naked body shivered but she kept going.  This wasn’t the time to worry about modesty.

Stella would be looking for her.  All the Minx had to do was find a radio or something to signal her partner.  Whoever had kidnapped her was definitely not ready for the girl of the stars.

She staggered over to a computer consol, there was a screen there.

She saw an armored man tormenting her best friend.  “Lynn no…”

She wanted to help, but she was naked, unarmed and could barely stand.

She sank to her knees.

She passed out.

***

“Foxy down for the count.  Let’s move to phase 3 with Stella.”

“I’ll let Stone know.”

***

Stella sighed, feeling empty.  It felt good to get it off her chest.  To finally admit the truth to someone, anyone.  To stop pretending.  It was bizarre; she’d admitted more to Robo-Master than she’d even been able to tell the Minx.  It was like her torturer understood her better than her best friend.  Like they had some kind of connection.

Robo-Master pulled her blue top upwards; Stella no longer cared what he was doing.  She was beaten.  She was done.

He touched her modest breasts, almost tenderly.  “Hmm, smaller than I expected.”

Stella chuckled dryly.  “Yeah.  A lot of people say that.  Everyone thinks I should have these huge breasts but I don’t.”

“I guess they just expect everything about you to be ‘stellar’.  You are the girl of the stars after all.”

“It wasn’t my idea.  Stupid Timmy O’Leary gave me that name.  He was always writing about me like I’m the perfect girl and everything.  Now people expect me to be some kind of icon.”  Stella added bitterly.  “But when I grew up he started bad-mouthing me because I’m my own person and not Stellar Man’s perfect little angel.”

“It must be hard.”  Robo-Master brought over another machine and hooked up wires to Stella’s nipples.  They felt cold.

“Oh stars and comets it is…  Heh, do you know why I say that?  Why I say stars and comets?  It’s because of him.  The first time I helped him fight some aliens I said a bad word.  You know, the ‘f’ word.  So he took me back to the Citadel and made me write ‘I will not use foul language’ 10^16 times.  Do you know how hard that is, even with stellar speed?  So after that it’s nothing but ‘stars and comets’ for me.  Stars and comets, stars and comets.  God, I sound like a moron.”

Robo-Master reached between her legs, around the titanium dildo still lodged in her pussy and pinched her clitoris hard until it poked out its pink head.  He attached another wire to it.

“Robo-Master, you… you’re going to hurt me again are you?  Please?”

Robo-Master was silent.

“Please!  I promised I’ll do anything!  Just let me go OK?”

Robo-Master pushed a button.  The lights dimmed.  Stella jerked.  Her eyes went wide, the dildos started moving again, slowly.

“Uh… uh… uh…” Stella moaned softly.

“That was enough electricity to power Detroit shooting through your erogenous zones.  Stimulating huh?”

“Uh…”

***

“Come on, no way this has a point!”

“It does, it does.  We got reports that when this gal comes; it’s like an a-bomb going off.  We already know no matter how much we hurt her she can’t exceed her rated limits.  Now we have to know if she’s tapping unseen levels of power when she cums.”

Hamilton grumbled and left the room.  This whole operation was getting a bit creepy.

***

The Minx stirred, she could hear moans.  She crawled back up to her knees and looked at the monitor.  Stella was obviously being tortured.  No matter what it took, the Minx had to rescue her.

She grabbed the consol and used it to pull herself to her feet.

“OK Gloria, your friend is being tortured.  You have to save her.  What are your assets?”

She looked around.  She was naked, in a bare room, with only her diamond-tipped false tooth as a weapon.  There were no clothes around, just a dust rag under the consol.

“OK.  This might be a bit tough.”

She played with the consol.  It was pretty simple, more of a monitoring station than a real control panel.  She found some sort of advanced video-tape machine and a computerized floor plan of the complex.  It showed her Stella was only a few doors down the hall.  That was a plus.

She rewound the video tape reel and started playing it from the beginning, maybe there was a clue.

***

“Oh stars and comets it feels good!  Make it go faster, please, faster…”

“Sure thing sweetie.”

“Oh fuck yeah…”  Stella giggled at her curse word.  “More power, faster, faster…”

Robo-Master adjusted the controls again.  His metal face had no expression but Stella could imagine he was grinning.

“AH! AH!”  She cried out, she could feel it building, to a climax.  As Stella she’d had super-sex a few times, with Astroman, with Cavinu but nothing like this.  The dildo in her ass, so unwelcome when it arrived was so wonderful now.  It spun gently, secreting its own lubricant, it timed it motion with the one in her cunt and the electrical jolts.

“OHFUCKYESTHISISIT!”

“Is it?”

“Ah…”  She sighed contently.

“Guess it was.”  The dildos began to retract from the limp girl.

The door to the torture chamber opened, a naked woman filled the doorway.

“S-step away from her you bastard!”  She took a step and staggered.

Robo-Master turned and stopped.  “Sweetie are you serious?”

In her hand was a strip of metal with a rag tied to it, she started to spin in, faster and faster.

“What the hell do you think that’s going to accomplish?”

She let go and a tiny projectile flew, light glittered off its diamond tip, it glanced off Robo-Master’s face and bounced into the corner.  Exhaused, the Minx fell.

“Stella… now…”  The Minx muttered as she hit the floor.

“Heh.  Now what sweetie?”

He turned back to Stella.  “Well that was kind of disappointing.  I thought Foxy was supposed to be something special.  Oh well I only grabbed her to lure you in.  She’s served her purpose.  Guess I’ll toss her in the mulcher.”

“WHAT?!  No you can’t, you can’t, please, I’ll do anything!”

“Sweetie, you already promised to do anything to save your skin.  What else you got to offer now?”

Stella froze, what could she say?  She looked again at her captor; his metal face was as unexpressive as ever, except for one small nick on the shinny shell.  The shinny ceramic shell…

Robo-Master turned back to the Minx’s prostrate form, his back to the girl of the stars.

“NO!  WAIT there’s one more thing I need to tell you.”

Robo-Master turned back “Well what is it?”

“BURN!”  Stella’s eyes burned red.  She channeled all her pain, all her anger, all her frustration into those twin beams.  The ceramic coating resisted her heat beams, except for one, small nick.

“Hey, what’s going on!”  Robo-Master demanded.

It smoked, it grew, flames shot out of his eyes and mouth and Robo-Master fell lifelessly to the floor.

THUD!

Stella looked at him and at the Minx’s fallen body.  Stella was still pinned by Robo-Master’s bonds.  “Um, help?”

The lights started to flicker.  The floor shook.

“Uh-oh.”

Wait!  Didn’t Robo-Master say something about electromagnets and hydraulics?

She tested the bonds again.  There was some give.  She flexed again, there was a sound of bending metal.  She tried a third time and…

SMASH!

Stella sat up laughing.  Her arms were free!  Free!  She pulled on one leg and shattered that bond.  Then the other.  She swung her legs off the platform and tried to stand.  The floor shook again and she fell in a heap.  Hours of bondage and abuse had left her weak.  She staggered back to her feet and lurched towards Gloria.

“Come on, Gloria, come on, we’ve got to get out of here.”

Sparks flew from the consoles and lights.  The whole complex shook, the Minx remained stubbornly inert.

The ceiling fell.

***

The helicopters crossed the desert.  The mesa was visible in the distance, smoke still pouring from numerous hatches and trap doors.  One was anonymous, black and unmarked.  The other red and gold with ‘Stone Munitions – 01’ prominently stenciled across the side.  Inside the black one Agents Jefferson and Hamilton chatted.

“So who did Stone have in the Robo-Master suit anyway?”

“Some engineer or something who was demanding a raise.  No one will miss him.  Helluva a way to go though, cooking in your own suit.”

“Tell me about it.  I mean can you believe it?”

“Geeze, I never even thought the Minx would even get out of the cell.  And actually managing to chip that guy’s armor, wow.”

“She’s something special all right.  But you gotta wonder if she made it out the mountain.  Neither of those little ladies was in the best of shape when the place went up.”

“We’ll see… we’ll see.”

The two helicopters set down at the foot of the mesa.  Other than the crackle of flame from the trapdoors it was completely still.

For several minutes the agents stood there.  Jefferson smoked a cigarette.

Then there was a gasp.  Behind them sand shifted and a pale hand emerged, then a mane of blond hair.

“Stars and comets!  We made it Gloria!”  Stella crawled out of the ground, her costume filthy and torn, her hot pants missing.  She had her cape wrapped around the Minx like a shroud.  She saw the agents.

“Um… help?”

Stella fell over unconscious.

“Hmm, tougher than we thought.”

Jefferson prodded the two with his foot.  “Not all that tough though.”

***

“AH!”  The Minx sat up with a start.  She was naked.  She was lying in a waterbed, under silk sheets.  She could hear helicopter rotors.

“Hello there sleepy head.”

There was a man there, wearing a stylish suit.  She recognized him.

“Arnold Stone!  Stone Munitions!”

“Guilty as charged.”

“How?  Where?  Why?”

“Whoa, slow down, you’ve been through a lot sweetie.”  The Minx’s face hardened.  “Okay, okay.  Turns out one of the engineers in my robotics division had loftier goals than his next promotion.  He put together a suit of armor and some robots, started calling himself Robo-Master.”

“And that high-tech torture chamber?”

“The High-Energy Laser Laboratory?  It’s something I build a while ago to test my Armor Man suits.  I noticed it went back on-line and flew out here to check it out.”

“I see.  Where’s Stella?”

“She was in rough shape after everything; she’s another chopper with some government agents.  We’re heading back to my estate in California.  Should be there in two or three hours.”

The Minx nodded.  It made sense.  “I guess I owe you a thank you.”

“Guess you do.”

“And we have a few hours to kill, hmm?”  She let the silk sheet slip a bit.  He was good-looking after all.  And rich.

“Looks that way.”  Stone walked to the bar “So Minx, what’s your poison?”

“Gin and tonic, thanks.”

Stone joined her on the waterbed.  “To new friends.”  They toasted and drank.

***

In the other chopper, Stella lay on a bench drifting in and out of consciousness; watching her friend fuck a handsome millionaire.  She sobbed quietly.

Afterword

Sometimes you just want to go all out, and with an invulnerable character like Stella that’s pretty far.

Once again the Minx is captured and Stella doesn’t even notice.  I always liked the idea of flawed heroines and I figure if normal people can’t remember to fill the dishwasher or walk the dog, what are the odds that ordinary people with superpowers are going to figure out every obscure clue and puzzle they come across.

We also see that for all of her power Stella really doesn’t know how to fight.  She never had to learn.

Agents Hamilton and Jefferson are a bit of Easter egg for people who’ve read my earlier stories.  Arnold Stone is of course a 100% original character not based on anyone published by Marvel Comics.
