Chapter 1: Prophecy of Doom

Green.

That was the color overwhelming Peekablue’s eyes as she gazed out upon Etheria. Normally, she’d welcome it, a sign of nature’s bounty and beauty. But this green carried only dread to her heart. This green, nebulous and overwhelming as it was, reeked of evil. But it lacked form. She couldn’t tell what it was, what it represented. And that wasn’t even what frightened her.

Looking further, she saw her friends, her fellow Rebels, with whom she fought to free Etheria from the grip of Hordak. Normally, in spite of the adversity with which they lived, they were happy. Today, their faces were etched with fear; even She-Ra looked on with horror… But at what?

Peekablue peered further, and then she saw it. A massive wave of… SOMETHING green towering over her friends. Before her eyes, it began to pour down, an irresistible tidal wave of malevolence washing over her comrades. In seconds they were enveloped utterly, sinking beneath the mire; they didn’t even have time to scream before they vanished.
To her horror, the wave came at her, filling her vision completely and swallowing her whole. And as she was engulfed, she could hear Hordak’s vile laughter ringing in her ears.

Peekablue screamed as she sat up, waking from the nightmarish vision. She panted for a moment, catching her breath as she recovered from the terror she’d felt.

“A nightmare? No… No, it was too powerful for that. A vision. A vision of doom!” She shuddered; in spite of the cool air, her skin glistened with sweat. She was trembling with fear. Never before had she experienced a vision so powerful. Taking a deep breath, she closed her eyes and looked inward. “I must learn more. What is this threat we face?!”

Summoning all her strength, she forced herself to delve back into the vision. Again and again, she watched her friends be overwhelmed by the green shapeless THING, but try as she might, she failed time and again to see WHY they were helpless before it. Some new weapon? A new enemy? No, no it HAD to be Hordak. His laughter was proof of that. What then? What could possibly bring the Great Rebellion to its knees so effortlessly?

She turned her powers upon the Fright Zone. Surely Hordak was planning something. Her mystical ability to see anywhere in the world was powerful, but it had limits. In recent months, Shadow Weaver had begun casting protective spells around the Horde’s base of operations; since then, it had become increasingly difficult to see within to learn their plans. Clearly, the witch had completed her work. She could see NOTHING within a mile of the Fright Zone. Until Castaspella and Angella could devise a counter, she was effectively blind. There was little else she could do, then, save to warn her friends with what little she knew.

But even then, there would be difficulties. Her friends were spread thin as of late, fighting the Horde on multiple fronts, as well as other threats. Adora and She-Ra were off world, assisting He-Man and Adam on a mission to a world called Primus. Frosta had returned to her kingdom to secure their borders against Horde incursion. Castaspella and Angella were recharging their mystical energies with Light Hope. Glimmer, Bow and Kowl were in the middle of a rescue mission, trying to free slaves in the southern hemisphere; they wouldn’t be back for at least another day. And everyone else was tending to missions of their own as well. For the moment, she feared she was on her own; even Double Trouble was having a hard time as of late getting messages to them.

She quickly wrote down the details of her vision and her intentions. With her powers blocked at long range, she would need to get closer to discover the truth… MUCH closer. She felt there was no time to waste… every second might bring them closer to the doom she foresaw; perhaps at close range, she could discern the truth. Donning a cloak to disguise herself, feathers and all, she paused at the edge of the camp long enough to pass a note to one of the guards on duty. They would make sure that her prophecy reached her friends if the worst came to pass. At least they’d have that.

Taking one last glance behind her, she began to journey from the Whispering Woods towards the Fright Zone. She prayed it wouldn’t be the last time she would ever see it.

***

Elsewhere, within the Fright Zone, Modulok was gleefully experimenting on a mystical substance lent to him by Shadow Weaver. He looked into the vat before him as the retrovirus he’d just added took hold, the substance within turning from a brownish green to a brighter, almost glowing shade. The witch herself was quite pleased with the results as well.

“SUCCESS! Once again, my diligence and genius triumphs! All I need now is to test the results of my work.” He chuckled. The mad scientist once called Galen Nycroft rubbed his hands together.

“And until then,” said Shadow Weaver, we’d best keep this collaboration to ourselves. Hordak wouldn’t want an incomplete weapon.”

“True enough. We’ve all had too many failures. If I never see another trap door in my life…” Before he could continue, a small light began flashing in a corner of his lab. “Ah, what’s this? It seems something’s tripped one of the motion sensors I placed near the Whispering Woods.” He brought up the coordinates on a screen quickly. “A shame I haven’t had time to add spy cameras.”

“Allow me,” offered the witch as she gestured, creating a mystical scrying portal before the two of them. Through it, they saw a young woman in robes doing her best to be stealthy as she headed in the direction of the Fright Zone. She was curiously able to avoid patrols, but had failed to notice the sensors placed within the soil beneath her feet. Most telling of all, however, was the telltale bulge upon her back, obviously some kind of wings. And since all but one winged rebel could fly… “Peekablue. And wandering away from the safety of the Whispering Woods. I knew the rebels were spread out, but they must be shorthanded if she’s daring to actually approach us.”

“Whatever her reasons, Shadow Weaver, she’s providing us JUST the opportunity we require to bring our plan to fruition.”

“Indeed. You see to her capture. I’ll procure the last element we need to complete it.”

“Better you than I,” agreed the monstrous scientist. He turned to see her off, but she, and the vat, were already gone in a puff of eldritch smoke.

Peekablue’s heart was racing. The further she got from the Whispering Woods, the closer she came towards the Fright Zone. She almost never strayed from the safety of the Woods, and not without reason. She had virtually no offensive abilities, and her best defense was the ability to see things happen before they did. Now that ability was driving her towards unknown danger, and she was terrified. What could be so horrible that she could both see and yet NOT see it at the same time? What weapon was the Horde developing?!

She slunk behind a rock formation as a patrol of Horde Troopers approached. The robots’ tread was heavy enough for her to hear it and buy her more than enough time to hide. She suspected their purpose was less to FIND enemies and more to intimidate. If so, it was working. She sorely wished, at that moment, she had strength like She-Ra’s, or energy powers like Glimmer. Even the simple ability to fly would be welcome at the moment; alas, all she could do was see, and for once, she was essentially blind.

She listened as the footsteps grew fainter and fainter, until they faded completely. Breathing a sigh of relief, she came out of her hiding spot.

And stepped directly into the path of the Troopers, all waiting for her.

“NO!” She recoiled in horror, but powerful mechanical hands grabbed her right wrist and twisted it behind her back, effortlessly restraining her. Another ripped away her disguise, letting it flutter to the ground.

“This is Patrol 23913 reporting. It’s as Modulok said. We’ve captured the rebel Peekablue!” She tried to struggle, but her efforts only brought her a flash of pain as the grip on her tightened.

“Let me go!”

“Silence Rebel,” ordered the robot. “Or BE silenced.” She tried to struggle on, looking up in time to see a stun baton come down towards her head. Then she knew only darkness.

Hordak was pleased to hear the incoming report. Anytime a major rebel was captured, it was an opportunity; however, usually those were ruined by She-Ra or that interfering do-gooder He-Man. The thought immediately dampened his mood. As he mused the best course of action to take, he noticed the telltale smoky wisps that heralded the arrival of Shadow Weaver. Curiously, this time she appeared with a strange vat by her side.

“Master Hordak, I’ve come to ask a boon of you.”

“Not a good time, Weaver,” said the tyrant. “I’ve got a rebel to question, and not much time to do so if history’s any indication!”

“That’s precisely why I’m here,” said the witch as she held up a small dagger. “Hordak, what I need is simple.

“I need your BLOOD.” His eyebrow raised, bemused.

Peekablue’s head pounded like a drum as she slowly regained consciousness. Her arms hurt as well; she looked up as her vision cleared and saw she was behind held up by manacles on her wrists, claimed into some strange edifice. Before her was some kind of empty pool with what appeared to be a claw made of bone carved into the floor. Looking up, she saw the skull of what was either a dragon or a dinosaur. Whichever it was, this was clearly a place of death.

That would have been bad enough. But on all sides she saw Horde Troopers, as well as three of the Great Rebellion’s worst enemies. Modulok. Shadow Weaver. And between them the worst of all: Hordak!

“Finally awake I see!” Hordak was enjoying this. That was never a good sign. “Welcome to the Fright Zone Peekablue. But I’m afraid your stay will be a permanent one.”

“W-what do you WANT with me?!”

“Answers. As the Rebels’ seer, you would be able to tell me EVERYTHING about their plans. Their locations. Their names. Their weaknesses.”

“I’d never betray them! I’d sooner die!” She pulled at the manacles, but they didn’t budge. She was well and truly trapped. Her only hope was rescue.

“And normally, that would be true,” admitted Hordak. “But things have changed, thanks to the combined efforts of Shadow Weaver and Modulok. You’re going to have the honor of being the test subject for the Horde’s newest weapon!”

Her eyes went wide. The weapon! Whatever was about to be presented to her was what her visions were warning her about! Whatever it was, she would have to find a way to get the knowledge to her friends.

“In ancient Etherian lore, a tale speaks of a master mystical interrogator called En’Slav,” explained Shadow Weaver. As she spoke, the empty pool before Peekablue began to fill up with a green ooze. “He developed a slime capable of feeding upon the willpower of anyone covered in it. Using the slime, he was always able to get any information he wanted effortlessly. Alas, the effects never lasted; as the ooze dripped away, so did his control over the subjects.”

Peekablue felt a “but” coming. The villains always had one waiting in the wings.

“But then we fast forward to today, where modern Horde science perfects what ancient arcane knowledge started,” Modulok was grinning. “You see, I’ve developed a retrovirus that alters En’Slav’s delightful invention, and allows it to bond to anything organic. Your FLESH, for example.” She looked up and saw more of the slime starting to drip from the maw of the skull. “Thus, once enough contact with a subject’s skin is achieved, it will become a PART of the subject, forever feeding upon their free will and making them succeptable to the will of whomever the slime is psychically bound to.”

“That would be ME,” said Hordak. His angular face showed his enjoyment of the tableau before him, though his blue skin was an odd contrast with the rest of the grim scene. “A sample of my blood, added to this slime, should allow me to control ANYONE it covers.”

A tiny rivulet of ooze dropped down from the skull, striking Peekablue on her right breast. She smelled and heard the signs of something dissolving. She looked and saw, to her horror, that the part of her top struck by the errant dollop of slime had been eaten away, revealing her left breast! A second, larger droplet fell, striking her left hip. Her skirt began to dissolve as well, showing her upper thigh.

Hordak glanced at Modulok quizzically. The scientist shrugged. “An unexpected side effect, it seems. It destroys cloth like it was acid.”

“So she’ll be a NAKED slave!” Hordak laughed. ‘Even BETTER!”

Peekablue’s stomach turned at the thought of being enslaved and naked before this monster. But try as she might, she couldn’t make any progress at all in freeing herself.

“Once the process is complete, Hordak, Peekablue will have no choice but to do anything you command her to do. She will betray every secret. She will perform any action. She would even KILL for you.” Modulok’s words chilled her to the bone.

“Well then,” said the tyrant. “I see no reason to put things off. Trooper, pull the activation lever. It’s time for the debut of the Horde SLIME PIT.”

“No…” She heard a groaning sound as the bone claw she’s spotted before began to raise up, dripping the slime of En’Slav. It locked into place, pinning her torso to the back of the Pit. The ooze sloughed off of the claw onto her thighs, dissolving more of her skirt, even as she heard another groaning sound above her. She looked up to see the head beginning to tilt down, spilling more of the slime upon her. She struggled uselessly as the slime washed over her shoulders, back, and plumage. She could hear the chemical sounds of fabric dissolving as the back of her skirt gave away.

But that wasn’t the worst part! No, she also suddenly felt liquid heat between her legs. A building pressure she found oddly enjoyable. She gasped as she suddenly felt a small orgasm. Her body shuddered, even as another wave of slime engulfed her arms and began running down her chest. She didn’t need to look to see her top complete eaten away, revealing her full chest to her enemies. Hordak’s lustful leering did that for her. She suddenly came again, gasping as the cold chill of the Horde’s slime faded into an inviting warmth. It washed down her legs, intermingling with her cum before flowing into the pool.

Hordak stepped up to the edge of the Pit and chuckled as he saw her predictament.

“Please,” she begged. “Please stop this… You can’t-“ She came again, even as she felt slime beginning to trickle down upon her head.

“Of COURSE I can!” He laughed. “Oh, don’t be so surprised, Peekablue! You REALLY should have seen THIS coming!” His laughter continued ringing in her ears as the slime fully enveloped her head. Momentarily deprived of air, she couldn’t voice any further protest. She could only hang limply as the flow of slime slowly ceased, the head tilting backwards. At the same time, the claw receded into the mire. Under all the slime, one last massive orgasm struck her body and she spasmed uncontrollably, unable to cry out due to the lack of air.

“MMMMMMMMMMMMMMPH!!!!!!!”

Peekablue hung from the manacles, naked save for her belt and boots. She was covered head to toe in the Slime of En’Slav, which dripped off of her bit by bit. The manacles released electronically, and her arms fell to her sides as the retrovirus went to work. Slowly, the altered mystic slime began working into her very cellular structure, seeping into her pores. In the span of only a few seconds, her flesh was turned the same shade of green as the slime itself; even her feathers were changed, complete with a blood red colorization for the mystical eyes upon them. As excess slime fell from her naked body, Peekablue slowly opened her eyes, revealing to Hordak the same red color that was on her feathers.

Inside her mind, Peekablue tried to run the instant the manacles fell away. But not only did her body fail to respond, but the URGE to run quickly faded away. As much as she wanted to flee, she couldn’t find the will to do so. To her horror, she found she had no will to do ANYTHING of her own volition. She couldn’t even cry.

Instead of obeying what tiny sliver of will remained to her, all she could do was raise her arms out in front of her like a sleepwalker and speak a single phrase robotically.

“Hail Hordak! Hail the master! Long live Hordak!” She stepped down from the Pit and stood before her new master, lowering her arms so he could take in the full beauty of her naked green form.

“Looks like the carpet finally matches the drapes,” he said mockingly. She stood there, awaiting orders. “I’ve got a lot of questions for you, Slave, but first, I have something ELSE in mind…”

***

“She did WHAT?!” Glimmer was aghast as she questioned the guard Peekablue had left her note with. Behind her, Bow and Kowl were both reading the letter, and getting a bad feeling about it. “Why did you stop her?!”

“His job is to protect people in the camp, Glimmer,” said Bow. “Not to HOLD them here.”

“But BOW-!”

“I know, I know. I’m worried too. This prophecy she mentioned’s pretty vague, but it must have spooked her horribly.”

“We should try to contact the others,” said Kowl. “If she’s in danger, who KNOWS how much help we’ll need to mount a rescue! And without her, we can’t get a good idea of what we’re up against!”

“We can’t just sit here and wait for Adora or She-Ra or any of the others to return! She could be dead or worse!”

Bow sighed. “I hate to say it, but you might be right. Kowl, with Flutterina and Sweet Bee away, you’re about the best spy we’ve got. Think you might be able to track her down?”

“Just what I was afraid of having to do today. Heroics.” Kowl moaned as he flew up into the sky. “All right, but when this is over, you owe me a LONG vacation!”

“I just hope that when this is over, any of us are left to TAKE one…” Glimmer shuddered. Bow’s words felt frighteningly prophetic.

***

Peekablue was in hell.

It had to be hell. What other word could describe the feeling of the worst villain on Etheria violating her body while she was helpless to protest?

It had only been scant minutes since she’d been subjected to the Slime Pit and become what Modulok had dubbed a Slime Slave. And already, her horrifying situation had gotten worse. Hordak’s first task for her took her to the last place she’d ever wanted to be… His bedchamber. At his command, the enslaved seer had laid down upon his bed and accepted him as her lover. She wasn’t even allowed to cry out in pain or dismay as he disrobed and thrust his vile member into her nether regions, beginning what was surely just the first of many rapes to come. In spite of the disgust she felt, her body was reacting. She was getting wet, and she could already begin to feel the start of an orgasm building. Not that Hordak cared what she was feeling; to him, she was a plaything to be exploited for her body to his wicked heart’s content.

THAT was made clear as he kneaded her breasts roughly and forced her to kiss him, their tongues intertwining even though all she wanted to do was spit.

His strokes were rough and fast, and her body already began to ache from enduring it. She did notice, however, that no matter how rough he was, she sustained no true injury; as far as she could tell, her new condition precluded actual lasting damage at all; if she was right, at least she didn’t need to fear carrying the monster’s child. But she’d know sooner than later as his pace suddenly increased; her own orgasm was building as his did. She cursed her weakness as he came inside of her, his sudden release pushing her own over the edge. She shuddered as the villain made her cum, and wished she had the freedom to weep. Instead, she was forced to continue to serve as his seedbed as he quickly brought himself and her to climax twice more in rapid succession.

Finally pulling out of the young woman, Hordak slid off the bed. Responding to his silent command, Peekablue felt herself slink from the bed as well and slide to her knees. She wanted to scream as she was forced to take his penis into her mouth and begin sucking, her own juices and his own intermingling on her tongue. Unable to display her urge to vomit, she was helpless to do anything but service him in every way he wanted. After several degrading moments, he finally ejaculated into the back on her throat, forcing her to swallow the vile concoction. Slowly, he pulled out of her mouth and turned away from her.

“Go clean yourself up. There’s work to be done, Slave.” Whatever he had planned for her next HAD to be better than what she’d just endured… He was getting dressed.

She was wrong.

Hordak sat in his throne now, and she was at his side as he casually played with her left breast. She couldn’t even blush with shame or embarrassment.

“Now, Slave, it’s time to begin your duties as the newest member of the Horde. You will use your powers to show me EVERYTHING there is to know about the so-called Great Rebellion. I am to know their every move, their every thought, and without any hesitation.”

“Yes, Master,” she said with mounting dread.

“Where are She-Ra and Adora?”

Her plumage spread, revealing Adora and Adam on a far off world she didn’t recognize. “Adora is on a planet in the Tri-Solar Galaxy called Primus. I… cannot locate She-Ra.”

“INTERESTING…” Hordak smirked. “Which means that wherever she is, that infernal woman isn’t on Etheria. Show me Angella.”

Again, she exercised her powers and her stomach sank further as she showed Angella in Brightmoon, recharging her powers.

“And now her dutiful daughter Glimmer.” Once more the image changed, showing the rebel base camp.

“I hope Kowl gets back soon, Bow. I’m worried about Peekablue. If anything’s happened to her…” Hordak didn’t need to say his next command. She sensed it and immediately showed him an image of Kowl, watching from a dark hidden alcove in the ceiling. Unaware he’d been discovered, he watched Peekablue with horror.

“Oh my. This is TERRIBLE!” He slipped away, thinking himself undetected. Hordak smiled softly. He’d allow the little pest to escape. He’d lure those two fools in, and give him more Slime Slaves in the process.

“At this rate, I might just have to collect the entire SET,” he mused aloud. “YOU, my dear Peekablue, may be the greatest weapon I’ve ever had.”

Her eyes went wide… He’d provided the answer she’d sought. She hadn’t been able to see his weapon clearly in her vision for a simple reason… She WAS the weapon. Between the Horde Slime and her powers, the Great Rebellion’s every move would be known to Hordak!

‘I’ve doomed EVERYONE,’ she thought silently. ‘Bow! Glimmer! Kowl! STAY AWAY! PLEASE! STAY AWAY!’

No one heard her silent plea.

Far from Etheria, in the depths of Castle Grayskull on the planet Eternia, the Sorceress sat at her throne, a cold chill running down her spine.

“The forces of good and evil have become unbalanced.” She closed her eyes to begin a psychic search. “I must find the source before it’s too late! Too late for the entire universe!”

TO BE CONTINUED…
