Supergirl's Slavery

Part IV - Betrayals

Chapter Fourteen

by The Wizard

Tasdron Lysander was just finishing up repairing the damaged shuttlecraft when Slaver's message came in on his communicator. He frowned a bit as he jumped to the bay's floor from the shuttle's wing. It wasn't like Slaver to cut off with out getting order confirmations.

The Vegan looked out across the bay at the other spacecraft. It was Slaver's personal space yaght. A sleek and slick craft capable of better speeds and distances then his personal shuttle. He wondered which craft he was supposed to prepare. He figured that Slaver wouldn't want to take the recently damaged and shorter range shuttle craft.

He started towards the holding cells as he thought. He knew that his time was running short, and he would have to make his move soon. Too many things were changing, and too radically as well. He had to get the Eearth females away from here, and quickly. Lysander was also concerned about Supergirl. But, his mission came first. And, his mission was to see to the downfall of Slaver's enterprise. Now, to just figure out the best way of doing that.

Supergirl ran and ran, turning this way and that down the maze of corridors, until she finally slowed, and stopped.

"Oh great!" she muttered as she put her hands on her hips and looked around. She was going around in
circles!! She sighed as she walked to a T intersection and looked both ways, and then back behind her.
She silently cursed to herself. She was lost! All the halls and doors looked alike! And she had not tried
any of the doors after her escape, thinking that any elevators or access doors would be different. She
took the right hall and walked down it, checking the doors. They weren't. They were all the same. However,
each door did have a combination pad and sometimes a number and/or name on it. Unfortunately, it was
either in code, or a language that she could not decipher.

She wondered if all of the doors were locked, and decided to start checking, but pressing a large button
at the bottom of each pad, which she believed would be the 'open'. Her sigh filled the hallway as the
first door did not open...nor the second...nor the third....

"I really don't have time for this!" she spat as she moved down the hallway to the next door.

Slaver strode down the hall to his chambers. He was angry...and scared! The comunique by his superior was
a total surprise. Being summoned like some servant, indeed! He growled as he came to the door and punched in his personal code to unlock the door. He didn't know if his superior knew of Supergirl being his
captive, but he wasn't going to bet his life that he didn't.

Things were getting worse and worse, he thought as the door slide open and he strode into his chambers.
He then stopped in stunned surprise as he turned to the place where he had last left Supergirl bound and
suspened in a hogtie. She was gone!!! All that was left were some remains of the restraints that he had
used on her.

"AAAaaaahhhhhhhhhh shhhiitttttt!!!" he screamed as he lunged through his quarters, searching for any
sign of the beautiful blonge heroine. He came to a stop and looked around, finally seeing his computer
terminal. It was not the way he had left it. He could only imagine that she had also gained entry into his
computer network. A growl filled the room as he shook in rage. There was no telling what information
she has gathered. His eyes then fell on an object, and he moved forward and leaned down to pick it
up. It was the obediance collar that he had placed on her. Supergirl was no longer collared...nor
trackable!

"Damndamndamndamndamn" the large Kryptonian muttered as he stalked from his chambers to look up
and down the hallways for any sign of Supergirl. There were, of course, none. Slaver felt like someone
had just stepped onto his grave, and that his life was now becoming a fleeting memory. Things were
now just going to shit!

Lysander had the girls all secured and hussled them quietly and quickly to the shuttle bay. He did not
speak much to them, only reassuring them that he would take them away from this place, and give them
to some friends in the law enforcement community for thier safe return to Earth. They were, of course,
quite skeptical. However, given thier present state they really had no choice but to hurry behind the
tall uniformed officer who led them into the shuttlecraft which had just brought them to this place.

Lysander made the decision that he would take this craft, since it was already known by the Star Legion,
to escape this planet, and Slaver, and rendevous with the closest Star Legion ship that he could find.
He would deliver the Earth girls to them. arranging for thier return, brief the legion on all he knew so far
about the latest developements, and then return to rescue Supergirl. It wasn't a great plan. Probably not
even a good plan. But, it was all that he had at the moment.

Ballus had at this time, landed his ship a few hundred meters away from the ground level access building
of Slaver's planetary hideout. He knew all about the planet, and it's orbit, and it's star, and what effects
they would have on the Kryptonians beneath the surface.

He moved back to his gear that he had packed before his quick departure from the "Klarion Rebel" and
retrieved a few items that he would would come in handy if he met either of them.

He left the ship on foot and made his way over the rocky surface to the entrance to fulfill his own
personal mission, that was given to him by Slaver's superior.
