Back from vacation. Will be doing a larger update later to catch up on the stuff that was sent in during my time off. Today, though, going to correct a boo-boo that I made on Raven's Obsidia page. Added image 49 which I had missed earlier there to help with the storyline. Sorry about that, Raven!

Okay... finished this weekend's update, I think! 5 new pages of material by Tyler Roper and 2 new pages of material by Alias the Rat.

I was expecting to make this my last update of the month, as I am taking some time off to recharge my batteries. However, I had a very very large update, and unfortunately, was not able to complete all of it. So, I will do one more 'small' update (7 pages) on Tuesday. Sorry, Rat & Tyler!

And, since I am planning on taking the rest of the month off, please no submissions until next month. Thank you.

I have been starting to do some villainous excursions into Second Life, looking for the superheroines that hang out there. Look for these adventures
of Vladi Lovenkraft (my SL character.. yeah... I know...silly name) on my blog. I will be trying to take pictures there with my handy 'wizard-cam'
and putting them up on my flickr page, as well.

Wonder Woman continues getting smacked down in Aemi's and The Master's serial.

Thanks for all your patience with me in letting me take that small break for Easter, last month. So, to make up for that, I have another HUGE update for you all to enjoy (well, I hope you enjoy it!)

The 2008 Bondage Awards have reached the second stage, and the Lair is nominated for Best Free Bondage Website. Also, Scarlet Witch and Raven are both nominated for Best Bondage Artist, and Alias the Rat is nominated for Best Bondage Writer. Please continue your valued and very welcome support! Remember, the artists and writers basically do this for free. It is your feedback that is what they always strive for and desire. Too often we all forget this (myself included), taking for granted all the hard work and time that is spent by these very talented people for our enjoyment. So, write them, thank them and, if you feel like it is deserved, vote for them!!

Finally, the Challenge Story Contest is closed. Unfortunately, I did not receive the minimum 10 entries to award the full $100 prize, so I will only be awarding a $50 prize to ... Alias the Rat! You will easily see why he is also nominated for a Best Bondage Writer at the 2008 Bondage Awards!

p.s. Challenge Page 26 closes at the end of the month, so get anything your working on in by April 1. Also, please get your entries for the story contest in soon so that The Wizard has time to give the stories a proper evaluation.

Got a big one for you today! All part of my plan to bribe you all to vote for me in the 2008 Bondage Awards! However, I know that you know that you can not find any other site with the amount of material of superheroines in bondage and distress, of the wide range of types of media from stories to contests to poser to line art any where else! I do not put up a handful of free images and then make pay to go elsewhere to see the "good stuff". How many pay sites do you know update as much as we do, with as much as we do?? No one! Nor do I make you wade through confusing pages of material to try to find what is new, because I do the work myself (not some computer program that doesn't know that you want to go to the new stuff NOW), and you are able to find what you are looking for within only one, and maybe sometimes, two mouse clicks! Some people SAY that they are the best, but in the end, we prove it week after week after week!!

So, here is your chance to Scarlet Witch and I, as well as all our contributors! Because, let's face it, people do like a slap on the back and kudos for a job well done. I don't get too many of them, and it is pretty rare when they do come in (cause no longer an artist, as much as I would like, and they get much more then a keyboard shuffler like me), so these are the types of things that give me thanks and acknowledgement. :)

And, to REALLY make sure that you all dash off there, I have great news to encourage you. A-Emi has returned!! This time, he has bypassed those silly stupid laws by no longer doing photomanips, but now by doing 3D art! Crafty!! Wonder Woman sure curses the day, I am sure!!

So far I have only recieved three entries, and they are all by the same writer. No, you do not have to do the manipulations yourself! You just have to use the ones already created. Remember, contest ends April 1st (see rules). AND, I have put in a couple of new links on the Yahoo Link page for good measure!

Thank you all who support my website, and encourage all the contributors here to continue to give high quality (and free) material to the superheroine community for over 10 years now. Also, do not forget to thank DanO over at Superheroine Central, for making all this free stuff possible! :)

Made some changes to the Link Pages. Added and subtracted on the first page, added a bunch to the second page, and completely removed the third page.

Still NOTHING from anyone for the story contest. Guess this will be the last one for a long while since it seems like no one is wanting to write for money anymore.

Popped up a banner for a new award page. Feel free to vote for The Wizard's Lair as the Best Free Website. These are the types of things that we do appreciate, since I don't get anything else for all this. I don't get paid. Nor does Scarlet Witch, nor any of the contributors to this website (exception being those winners of my story contests). Our rewards are comments by you, the visitors and the fans, and peer type awards such as these. And speaking of, some people are a bit curious as to why there are no comments made about their art. It doesn't take long to drop a line, and I have made it pretty easy by putting an email link at the bottom of each page. So today, write those artists and writers and thank them for all their contributions to this FREE website, and think about those people that you would like to see win some kudos (your's truly included, I hope), and start voting for them (and for ME :), starting in March.

The Story Contest is about halfway through now, and so far... no stories sent in. No comments, no questions, nothing at all. Very discouraging.

My Blog is still up, amazingly enough. Though, with Yahell making overtures to make drastic changes to it, I haven't done much of late with it (though it is a very good read still, if you haven't seen it). Also, my Flickr account is going gang-busters! LOTS of stuff there that you will not find here. Also free (though I do ask you to jump through one hoop to get to the "hidden", friends only, free goodies).

It looks like Scarlet has beat me to the punch in being the first to update the Lair this year, but then this is not a competition between us, because there are no losers and the winner is always YOU, the fan of the genre!

A new Challenge Page has been started. Challenge #25 ends in a couple of days, so shoot what you have off to Scarlet Witch ASAP!

New contest is also started. This will run 3 months (unless, of course, I have to extend it... but let's hope not). Going to try something a bit different with this one, in that it will be based upon the Challenge Pages and the material there that has been sent in to us in response to the challenges. There is a LOT of material there from Challenges #13 through #25, and there is no set number of images that one is restricted to. Read the rules here for more information. Of course, as always, if there are any questions, feel free to drop me a line.
