Forced Layover

By Boomer

The man wiped his greasy hands with an oil soaked rag, so the dirt was merely moved around, and not removed. “Can I help you ladies?” He asked in his best mountaineer drawl, smiling to show a gap in the row of yellow teeth.
“Yes, please fill the tank with premium.” Dru answered, hoping the man wouldn't get too close. “Do you have a bathroom?” She waited for him to move to the rear fender before opening the door.

“Yes'm, it's around to the side of the building. Ain't none too clean though.” Jasper peered in the rear window at the other young female sitting in the passenger seat.

“Be back in a minute Diana.” Yelled the cute little brunette, as she headed around the corner, not noticing the strange look that appeared on the man's face. Opening the rickety wooden door she peered into the dirtiest room she had ever seen, then immediately turned around, deciding to use an old oak tree to hide behind. A  few minutes later the five foot ten young beauty  pulled up her panties, straightened the short pleated skirt, and walked past the wooden outhouse.

“Hey Dru, could you see if they have any cold sodas inside?” Diana spotted her sister heading back to the car. “I'm really thirsty.”

“OK Sis, but don't bother going to the rest room.” Dru went inside and was greeted by an older man wearing a pair of blue denim cover-alls that looked like they'd never been washed. The same could be said of the man, who pointed to the back, where a small refrigerator stood.

“Got drinks in there.” The man said curtly. “Dollar a piece.” He noticed Jasper entering through the screen door, letting it slam behind him.

“Twenty five for the gas, Donny.” Jasper informed his brother behind the counter, and then plopped down in a wicker rocker to stare up at Dru, who now stood next to the counter with two sodas. “You two look awful familiar. Been here before?”

“No, we're just passing through on our way to Charleston.” She replied reluctantly, handing Donny the money. Within minutes the two young women were on their way again, leaving the two mountain men staring at the red Mustang speeding away.

“It's them!” Jasper declared excitedly.

“Who?” Donny seemed puzzled at his brother's cryptic utterance, until Jasper showed him a comic book.

“Ya see, it's them, Dru and Diana.” Tossing the book onto the counter, he picked up the tranquilizer rifle. “Get the stuff, we got us a real prize this time.”

“What do you wanna do with the other one right now?” Donny opened the door to the back room, and revealed a woman sitting in a dingy over stuffed chair with her legs tied at the ankles and just above the knees. Her arms were pulled behind and tied tightly above the elbows as well as at the wrists. A flesh colored bandage was stretched over her mouth and wrapped over her red tresses, pressing the strands of curls against the back of her head.

“MMGGMMBBLM!” She screamed into the gag, tossing her head from side to side and up and down. Her eyes were red from the constant crying and dried tears stained her cheeks. Her whole body tensed, as she wriggled in the chair, kicking up her legs in a futile protest at being restrained so tightly.

Jasper entered the room carrying a small brown bottle, and poured some of its contents onto the bandage gag, just under the woman's nose. “Breathe deep, Barbara.” He chuckled as if that were some kind of joke between them.

“MMNNGGMMM!” At first her muffled scream came from deep within her throat, but after inhaling the sickly sweet pungent fumes, she merely moaned loudly into the gag. “MMMMMM” Her head wobbled from side to side until it finally slumped downward, her chin resting just above the ample cleavage. She would have pitched forward onto the floor, but Jasper pushed the nearly unconscious woman back in the big chair, her head tilting back and her bleary eyes staring blankly at the flaking plaster ceiling. In another moment the mountain man was satisfied to see the pretty green eyes roll up, and the eyelids close.

Several miles down the road, Dru noticed the engine starting to sputter. “Uh oh, something's wrong.” One more mile the engine quit altogether, and the little red Mustang drifted silently to the side of the road. Both women sighed with frustration. “Better call the Motor Club.” Dru suggested.”

“Can't get a signal.” Diana stared at the No Signal message on the screen. “What do we do now?” She opened the door, hung her long shapely legs outside, and sat with her elbows resting on her thighs.

“Well, I might as well take another bathroom break.” Dru climbed out to disappear into the woods, so didn't see the tow truck approach from around the bend.

“Right on time.” Jasper declared, spotting the little red car on the side of the road.

“There's the one called Diana, but I don't see the other one.” Donny poured some liquid onto a bright red kerchief.

“You take care of that one and I'll hide, so when the other one transforms, I'll ambush her.” Jasper loaded the tranquilizer rifle.

“Hello, looks like you got some trouble.” Donny approached Diana, while his brother hid behind a tree.

Diana stood, and replied to the man in dirty cover-alls. “Yeah, the engine just quit.” She noticed the folded kerchief in his hand, but wasn't concerned until he raised it in a threatening gesture. “What are you doinMMMNOMMM!” She twisted away, as the red rag pressed against her mouth, and then slipped off as she jerked her head. “HELPPP!!” Diana tried to run, but the high heels twisted in the dirt, sending her to the ground. “STOPMMMNOMMM!” An arm wrapped around Diana's waist, pulling her upwards, while the red rag was thrust over her mouth. “MMMNNNM!” She struggled like a wild cat, kicking her stocking feet wildly in the air, and scratching at the man's big hairy arm, trying to pull the rag away.

“WHAT'S GOING ON?” Yelled Dru, appearing suddenly from the woods.

“Hello, Wonder Chick, where's your costume?” Jasper raised the rifle and fired. 'FFFTTTT' A small projectile flew through the air, hitting Dru in the neck.

“Ungh.” Feeling a prick in the side of her neck, the cute little brunette model tried to pull out the small dart, but her fingers weren't able to close around it. “OOOHHH! Feel so dizzy all of a sudden.” Her legs seemed to turn to rubber, and she fell sideways against a big maple tree. “Was..happen...uunnn.” Her legs buckled and she slid down the tree to her knees. “Sooo..sleeeepppy..neee..tooo..lay...uhhhh.” She fell forward face first onto the leaf covered ground.

Meanwhile, Diana was now only capable of weakly slapping at the big hand holding the dirty foul smelling rag over her mouth. She was unable to focus her eyes, as she felt her mind slipping into a dark abyss. “Uhhhhhhhh...” A long sigh emanated from beneath the red cloth, and her whole body went limp.

Donny allowed the now unconscious female to slide down his body and sprawl onto the ground. “What happened Jasper, that one came running, but she didn't transform.”

“I guess we surprised her.” Jasper then picked up the unconscious Dru.

Sometime later Diana felt her body tingle, from the slight chill in the air. “Ohhh..my head.” She straightened her long legs, and tried to sit up. “Where am I?” After a long minute, the young model managed to sit up on the cold hard ground to focus on the wooded surroundings. “Oh yeah, I remember now. Those two creeps from the gas station...uuhhh.”

“Let her yell now.” Donny whispered from behind a tree, and then watched as his brother removed his gloved hand from Dru's mouth, allowing her to scream out.

“HELP..SOMEBODY PLEASE HELP ME!” Her squeaky voice echoed across the hill to where Diana was struggling to stand up.

“That's Dru...” Diana scanned the area and saw her sister in the clutches of Jasper, who was dragging the helpless woman towards a dingy white pick-up with the faded red letters 'ABC GARAGE' on the side. “LEAVE HER ALONE YOU BASTARD!” Without regard for her own safety, Diana raced towards them. “PUT HER DOWN!”

Jasper paused by the side of the truck staring at the charging woman. “Change...why don't you change?” He seemed genuinely puzzled, and was greatly disappointed when she finally passed Donny's hiding place.

'WHOMP!!!” The big man in dirty cover-alls waited for the pretty brunette to run past the tree, and then emerged behind her to swing a club, hitting the back of her head.

Diana's stride changed to a stumble, as the sudden pain caused her to forget why she was running, and concentrate on staying erect. “UUNNNNNN!” She then collided with one of the trees, and staggered backwards, holding her head and groaning. Wha..hit..meee..UNNGGHH!” Another wicked blow sent the model sagging to her knees, and then sprawling face forward onto the damp ground.

“DIANA..OH NOOO...What have you done to my sister?” Dru yelled just before the gloved hand placed a wet rag over her mouth. “NOMMMFFFFFF!” She twisted violently in the man's grip, and managed to break free. However, her hands were tied behind, and she had already inhaled a lethal dose of the chloroform, so the young Dru slumped to the ground crying. “Why are you doinMMMPPHHH!” Her question was interrupted by Jasper's hand over her mouth, and she felt the pungent fumes sting her nostrils on their way to filling her lungs with the sedative. “WHYYYYY?” Was the woman's last thought before succumbing to the drug.

A ray of sunshine was diffused as it passed through the oily dirty film covering the small window. Dru's head jerked upwards a couple times, and then she moaned. “Unnnn..where...ohhhh.” She looked around the room to see Diana tied to wooden chair in a corner. “DDMMMMM.” Her comment was muffled by a cloth gag stretched over her mouth and wrapped around her head. “Why are these men doing this....” She was actually afraid of the answer. She then spotted another woman hanging by her wrists at the far end of what appeared to be a garage. “Who is that?”

An even stranger scene was unfolding in the back room of the small store. “I knew she was one of them.” Jasper stared down at the unconscious figure lying on the floor. “It's a good thing you caught her.” He said to Donny, who stood over the red haired captive now attired in Bat Broad's costume.

“I don't know how she got loose, but I accidentally saw her transform.” Donny lied. In reality he untied the woman, and then demanded she put on the Bat Broad outfit he purchased at a costume store. When the woman finished changing, Donny grabbed her , and placed the chloroform soaked rag over her mouth.

A two seat roadster with the top down and a beautiful red haired woman driving, pulled into the gas station. “Fill 'er up.” The driver said, as she exited the car, shook her head and then tossed the long red tresses over her shoulder. “Do you have a map of the area I can have?”

Jasper stared wide eyed at the tall lanky beauty, gulped, and then stammered a reply. “Yes'm, inside.” His eyes were glued to the round tight rear end as the woman went through the screen door. “It's her, I know it's her.” He whispered to himself and then followed the woman inside.

“I need a map of the area, do you have one I can have?” The woman pulled at the hem of her mini-skirt.

“The racks over there.” Donny nodded his head in the direction of the wire rack at the end of the counter.

“It's her, Donny. I gotta have her.” Jasper leaned over the counter to whisper at Donny, who took a closer look at the beauty peering at the maps.

“OK, let's do it.” Donny took a brown bottle, poured some of its contents on a rag, and handed it to Jasper. “That'll be twenty-four dollars, including the  map.”

The woman placed a map on the counter, removed a credit card from her purse, and stood waiting for him to process the card.

“Barbara Gorman. Nice name.” Donny looked over the woman's shoulder at his little brother, who was about to pounce.

He was really excited when he heard the name Barbara. “I knew it was her.” Folding the rag carefully and Jasper then reached it around the woman's head. “Welcome Bat Broad.”

“WHA..MMMPPHHH!!” Her head moved in the direction of the cloth, as it was pressed over her mouth. “NOOMMMM!” Her emerald green eyes bulged wide with surprise and panic.

“Don't fight it, you can't win.” Jasper told his latest victim. She tried to wriggle away, but Jasper held firm, until the heel of her shoe penetrated his boot. “YEOW! That hurt.” His arm released the woman, who then staggered out of the store, gasping for air. “HHELPPP!”

At that moment the local Sheriff's car drove into the station, and deputy Birdwell leaped out. “What's happening here?” She rushed to the woman's side.

“Those men attacked me.” Barbara pointed towards the store, where Donny and Jasper stood staring at the two women. “Gotta do it.” Donny stated, as he went behind the counter to retrieve the tranquilizer gun, while Jasper went outside holding the chloroform soaked rag.

Officer Birdwell drew her pistol. “What's going on here Jasper Martin? What did you do..owww.” Slapping her neck, where the sting was felt, she drove the tiny dart even deeper beneath the skin. A sudden weakness overcame the deputy, and she allowed the gun to fall from her hand, then grabbed her forehead in a vain attempt at easing the dizziness.

Barbara stared at the deputy, confused by her actions, so didn't notice Jasper creep up behind, and once again thrust the rag over her mouth. “NOMMMSTOPMMMPPHH!!” She tried to twist her head away, but Jaspers firm grip held it steady.

Deputy Birdwell wanted to help the lady in distress, but stumbled backwards against the gas pump instead. “Sooo..dizzy..c..can't stand...uhhh.” Her legs turned to jelly, sending Biddy to her knees. “Wha..goin..onnnn?” After her eyes rolled up, she fell forward, and laid on the ground moaning softly.

Meanwhile, Barbara panicked as she saw the deputy collapse. Everything began swirling around, and she felt nauseous. “I need to sleep..please..don't do thisssss.” When her body went limp in Jasper's arms, he lifted the helpless woman and carried her into the back room.

Donny dragged the nearly unconscious Biddy Birdwell into the garage. “Too bad Biddy, but you'll have to stay here now. I sure wish you reminded Jasper of one of those Super Chicks.” He then tied her wrists together, threw the loose end of the rope over a rafter, and pulled the moaning Deputy off the ground. “I'll have to tend to you later, after we hide the patrol car.” He noticed Biddy's heavy eyelids fluttering, as she continued to fight the tranquilizer. “You look kinda sexy hangin' there.” Donny commented, staring at the long sleeve uniform shirt, a straight mid-length skirt and black boots. It was difficult for the young curly haired blond to lift her head, as the drug continued coursing through her veins, and would eventually render her totally unconscious.

Back to the present day-

Grab her legs and we'll take her to the lake, where we can have our little hunt.” Donny lifted Barbara under the arms, while Jasper lifted her under the knees, and the two of them carried their prize to the panel truck.

Deputy Birdwell's patrol car was found earlier in a remote area of the county, but her body wasn't recovered, because she was hanging by her  wrists in the ABC Garage. “Oohhhh, please no more.”

Dru heard the mumbled plea, and wondered what the men had done to the woman. Unlike her and Diana, she wasn't gagged, nor were her booted ankles restrained. The sun began shinning brighter through the dirty window, as well as the many spaces between the rotten wood panels that made up the walls. “Is that a police uniform she's wearing?” Dru wondered.

Biddy's wrists hurt from constantly being hung up to the rafter for the past week. The current sedative was slowly wearing off, allowing some feeling to return, so the Deputy groaned with discomfort. “I can't stand this anymore...what are they going to do to me?” She raised her head to look around, making sure the two men were not there. “Uhh..there's someone else here.” Spotting Diana bound and gagged to the wooden chair, Biddy yelled over to the woman. “Hey, are you awake?”

“MMMPPHHHH!.” Dru yelled into the gag, trying to get the woman's attention.

“Oh, another one. Where's the red head?” Biddy checked out the rest of the garage, but found no trace of Barbara, the woman she tried to rescue.

The red head that Biddy referred to was Barbara Gorman, and she was presently lying by the side of Big Cat Lake slowly waking to the morning light. “Oooohhh.” She moaned softly, and turned over onto her back, her hands feeling the dampness of the early morning dew that covered the grass. She thought it strange that no other part of her body seemed uncomfortable from the wet grass or cool morning air, until discovering the full body skin tight latex costume she was now wearing. Her eyes fluttered several times, trying to stay open, while she rolled over onto her side, lifted a hand to feel her sore forehead, and then slowly raised her herself to a sitting position. “Where am I?” Everything was so confusing. Nearly a week ago she was scouting the area for quaint old locations to photograph, and now she was stranded in the woods dressed in a Halloween costume. “Was this merely a prank.” It took all her strength to first raise on all fours and then stand. “Which way?” Her hand leaned against a large oak tree for stability, and then she scanned the area for any signs of the two creepy mountain men. “What happened to that police woman?” She remembered seeing a police woman racing to her aid.

“Go get the Deputy. Breakfast's almost ready.” Donny said to his brother.

“When do we go hunting?” Jasper asked on his way out the door..

“Let's go before noon.” Donny suggested, and then flipped over the scrapple.

As the bottom of the heavy wooden garage door  scraped across the ground, Biddy cringed at the sight of the unwashed mountain man standing in the open doorway. “Let me go, before you get in a big load of trouble.” She repeated her idle threat.

“They found your car and think your dead.” Jasper taunted the Deputy. “If your not careful, they will find your body. Hey, Wonder Lass is awake.” He smiled at Dru. “How's Wonder Lady doin' ?” Walking over to the unconscious Diana, his hand lifted her chin and received a low moan in response, but reacted actively, when he slapped the side of her head.

“Uhhhh..wha?” The sudden shock brought her around, and then she looked up at Jasper who stood smiling down at her. “MMPPHHH!” The gag made her words unintelligible, but the anger in her deep blue eyes was unmistakable.

“It's too bad you can't transform into Wonder Lady.” The dirty mountain man taunted his captive. “Maybe later.”

A puzzled look came over Diana's face. “How does he know?”

Part 2

Jasper turned his attention to the Deputy. “Are ya hungry Biddy?” He untied the long end of the rope, lowering the police woman to the ground. “You know what to do.” He removed the damp cloth from his pocket.

“You don't have to do that. I won't make any trouble.” She waited until the man moved behind her, and then suddenly swung around, hitting the side of his head with the combined impact of her bound wrists. After Jasper fell to the ground, Biddy grabbed the large hunting knife from his belt. “Sorry about this.” She raised the weapon high above her head, poised to make a lethal strike, when a large greasy hand took hold of her wrists. “OH NOOO!”

“Good thing I followed you, little brother.” Donny said, while turning the Deputy around, and then swinging a big round house fist against her jaw. Biddy's head jerked to the right, then slowly slumped down so that her chin rested on her chest. Donny maintained his grip on the Deputy's wrists, letting her limp unconscious body dangle in front of him. “She's really very sexy. I think she'd make a perfect White Angel.”
Jasper picked himself off the ground, took the limp deputy from Donny, and then slung her over his shoulder. “You really don't think those women are Superheroines, do you?” He then carried the unconscious Biddy to breakfast.

A half hour later Deputy Birdwell felt like her jaw had been dislocated. “When they catch you, hell will freeze over before you get out.” The rope was looped around her body just under her breasts and tied behind the chair, while her ankles were bound to the front chair legs.

“Shut up and eat your eggs.” Donny retorted, as he poured some coffee into a dirty mug.

“Did you drug the food again?” Biddy didn't need to ask, since she already new the answer. “You know it's unnecessary.”

“Just shut up and eat, or don't. Suit yourself.” Donny set a bowl of grits on the table next to the plate of fried eggs and scrapple, and then took his seat.

A week earlier---

Biddy recalled the first meal she had with these creeps....Her whole body ached, and as she sat slumped in a rough hewn wooden chair, her head felt like lead and wouldn't raise off her chest. “MMMMMMM” She heard someone moaning, and then chuckled to herself upon realizing she was the source of the moaning. “Uuuhhh..what happened?”

“It's time to wake up Biddy.” A familiar gruff voice sounded from the darkness, just before a sharp pain struck her cheek.

“UNNNNN!” Biddy's head twisted to the right, and then went back to the left in response to another slap from the other side. A hand grabbed her hair, lifting her face up, so she could see the hazy vision of Donny in his dirty cover-alls. “Wha..Unngghh.” Two more lesser slaps brought her senses to the alert stage. “Ohh..stop that.”

“You gonna 'rest me? Biddy?” Donny released her hair, letting the pretty face fall back down. “Have sumpin to eat, while Jasper and me figure out what to do with ya.”

The young police woman lifter her eyes to focus on the glass of ice-tea and grabbed it to gulp down the contents. “You better let me go.” Her vision became blurred once again. “It's awfully hot in here.”

Donny sat across the table smiling. “Aren't you hungry?” He shoved the bowl of cooked cabbage in her direction.

“Feel tired..need to lay down.” Biddy's head sagged forward, and then she jerked it back. “Ohhhh..the room..oohhh.” Everything seemed so confusing. “Whyyy...wha..are..yoooo.” Suddenly the young woman realized the ice-tea had been drugged, and smashed the back of her hand against the glass. “I can't..uhhhhh.” Letting out a long sigh, Biddy slowly lowered her head, and then her body went limp with both arms dangling to the side of the chair.

“Hang her back in the garage.” Were the last words she heard.

It happened several times after that with the same result each time, except she learned to eat something before drinking the ice-tea. This time was no different, and after the glass of tea, she waited for the drug to act......

Later in the day a Federal search helicopter flew over the area looking for the missing Deputy or signs of her remains.

“Hey Phil, what's that down there?” One of the Feds spotted Barbara stumbling through the trees. “Looks like someone's celebrating Halloween early. Radio the location, so the Rangers can question her.”

“OK, we're almost out of fuel, so we have to head for home” The other man replied as the helicopter turned away.

“HELP, PLEASE COME BACK.” Barbara frantically waved her hands, but received no response.

“Whadya think those Feds are doin' here.” Jasper shaded his eyes, while looking into the sun.

“I imagine they're lookin' for Biddy.” Lonny looked down the hill to spot Barbara stumbling through the brush. “Ah this was too easy.”

Meanwhile back at the garage, it took Diana all morning to scoot her chair across the dirty concrete floor to where tools lay strewn over the heavy wooden workbench. “Ohhh..that'll do nicely.” Spotting a box cutter, she picked up a long handled wrench between her teeth, and used it to inch the cutter over the edge of the bench onto the floor. “Now to tilt this chair backwards, UUNNGGHH!!” Much to Diana's surprise, the old wooden chair back split apart upon crashing against the hard concrete floor. The rope binding her wrists instantly loosened, allowing her to get free. “Wish I had thought about doing that sooner.” Within minutes both women were rid of their restraints and gags. “Let's help the Deputy.” Diana ran over to the unconscious Biddy, easing her to the ground and then untying the woman's sore wrists.

“Is she alright?” Dru asked.

“Yes, I think so, but we'll all be better, when those creeps are behind bars.” The two women spun in place, transforming themselves into Wonder Lady and Wonder Lass. They left the Deputy to look for Donny and Jasper, who were on their way to hunt for the red head they had dressed as Bat Broad.

The sun was high in the sky, when Barbara's head finally cleared completely, and her muscles felt normal. “Why did they dress me in this silly costume?” She wondered, while moving through the thick underbrush, towards the stream below.

“Where'd she go?” Jasper asked his brother.

“Dunno, she disappeared down through that patch of trees yonder. You go that way and I'll head straight down.” Donny directed his brother and then followed the trail down the mountain.

Barbara passed under a large pine tree with thick branches spreading straight out from the trunk and decided to climb up to get a better vantage point. Upon reaching several feet off the ground she spotted Donny moving through the brush down the slope towards her. “That SOB is stalking me.” Instead of feeling fear, the young Lawyer felt she was now in control. “Where's the other one?” She wondered as Donny moved to a spot just under the pine tree.

“That's strange.” He looked around, trying to locate the trail. “She seems to have disappeared.” Just as Donny thought about looking up into the tree, Barbara dropped on top of him. “UUGGHH!” The stunned man fell to the ground and his weapon flew off to the side.

Barbara managed to grab the rifle, swinging the butt against the big man's head, knocking him out. “Take that you creep.” She was standing over the fallen mountain man, when Jasper broke into the clearing.

“What have you done?” He stared at the scene, which was reversed from what he expected. “Owww.” Jasper felt a dart hit his arm, and looked down at the small red spot. “Damn you Bit..uuhhhh.” His legs gave out, sending him to his knees. “I'll gettt..yaaa.” He reached out his arms and then fell forward onto the leaves.

Barbara kept aiming the tranquilizer rifle at Jasper, letting the barrel follow him as he fell unconscious. “Now to get out of this place.” Another helicopter sounded through the trees, but the foliage hid it from her view. “Maybe the stream will lead me to a clearing.”

Meanwhile the two Super Heroines exited the garage, crossed the open area to the store, and found it empty. “Let's search the house.” Wonder Lady suggested. It was a two story wooden building, which looked like it might fall down at any time, and after carefully searching the old place, Wonder Lady was resigned to the house being empty, and then entered the living room to ponder their next move. “This place is empty too. Where could they be?” The Heroine  asked out loud. She was standing in front of a huge stone  fireplace located in the living room, thinking it seemed out of place for this house, and when she ran her hand around the edge of the stone mantle, the fireplace rotated away from the wall, revealing a metal door with a glass panel, which automatically slid sideways into the wall. “Wow, what is this?” She cautiously entered the hidden steel walled room, to find it filled with electronic gear. “Modern computers, communication equipment, and monitors showing images from tracking satellites.” She sat down at one of the computers, and just as Dru entered the living room, the metal door slid closed.

“Holy Cow! What is this?” Dru caught a glimpse of her sister inside the room, as the door was closing, and ran to look through the glass panel. “Diana, open the door.” There was no response to her plea, so Diana was either too engrossed at what she was investigating, or couldn't hear through the metal door.

Wonder Lady looked up from one of the computer monitors to see her sister pounding on the glass panel. She smiled at the frustrated Wonder Lass, but the smile quickly changed to a look of apprehension. “Uh ohhh!”

“WHAT'S WRONG?” Dru shouted.

Diana saw a cloudy vapor entering the room through vents in the ceiling. “This doesn't look good.” Even with all her Amazon strength, the door wouldn't budge, nor could she break the glass panel. “What's this stuff made of?” As the vapor began to fill the room she felt a sense of dizziness overcome her. “Whoo..are..these creeps?” Her mind was filled with sexual images and random thoughts, all of which kept Wonder Lady from concentrating her strength. She vainly pounded at the glass panel, while laying her soft cheek against it.

Wonder Lass was in a panic watching her sister in dire trouble and not able to help. She saw her eyes become bleary, her hands slap against the glass, and her cheek slide slowly down the panel. “I have to helllHELLLLPPP!” Suddenly the floor disappeared from beneath Dru, and her arms shot up over her head, as she slipped into a confining round tube, with her body constantly spinning. The transformation from Wonder Lass to Dru and back again happened over and over, sapping the Heroine's energy. The magic light flashed with each transformation, making the tube appear like a neon light. At the same time a cloth wrapped around the spinning body, until it was completely covered. “This can't be happening.”

Wonder Lady slid down along the metal door until she sat on her heels for a moment before slumping headfirst and then sprawling out on the floor. Through the thick haze of her blurry vision she witnessed a hole in the floor appear, and a weird creature emerge from below. “Wha's...happenin?” Using all her remaining strength, Wonder Lady fought to stay conscious. She saw the shadowy creature bend over, and could feel herself being lifted in the air.

“She's a tough one. Still awake.” He spoke into the gas mask. “I'll take her to the lab. What about the other one?”

Wonder Lass stopped spinning, when her body was completely wrapped. “That smell..oh no they're trying to chloroform me.” She instantly held her breath.

“She stopped breathing Colonel.” A voice came from outside the tube.

“It doesn't matter.” Was the response.

Wonder Lass heard the words, and soon realized the importance of that response, as her whole body began to tingle. “It must be some new kind of chloroform, soaking into my skin.” Realizing it really didn't matter, as her body became numb,  and all resistance disappeared, she took a breath, and then another, and another. “I can't resist, getting' sooo..shleeeppy.” Her eyes rolled back, and Wonder Lass felt her body go limp, as an oppressive blackness overwhelmed her.

Part 3

In the meantime Biddy staggered from the garage, and headed down the road. “I don't understand what's going on, but I have to get to a telephone.” Suddenly she felt the ground shake, and then saw a nearby hilltop open up. “WHAT THE H!!!” Within minutes a strange jet helicopter flew into view and disappeared into the opening.

Inside the hill a tall uniformed man with a  crew  cut entered a well appointed room to announce. “Colonel Asphyxia, General Anesthesia has arrived.”

“Where are your prisoners, Colonel?” Demanded the tall broad shouldered man wearing a well tailored military uniform, complete with jodhpurs and brown boots. “They'd better be who you claim.”

Colonel Asphyxia stood when the General entered the room, and replied to his comment. “You won't be disappointed, General. Follow me.” He led the small entourage down the hall to a sterile room that looked very much like a morgue. Two metal tables stood in the middle, with female bodies strapped to them. “See for yourself, sir.”

“How can you be certain these women are superheroines? Those rubes at the garage have a history of dressing ordinary females in costume, and then pretending they have super powers.” The General fondled Wonder Lady's breasts, and heard the woman moan softly in response. “As a matter of fact, Sargent Nod informed my aide Lullaby that those two were currently chasing a woman clad as Bat Broad through the woods.”

However, both rubes the General mentioned were just waking up with wicked head-aches. “Ohhh..where'd that B**** go?” Donny staggered to his feet, and spotted his brother laying on his back. “Jasper, you okay?”

“Yea, where'd she go?” Jasper used a nearby tree to brace himself while climbing back on his feet.

“She doesn't know the area, so I figger Bat Broad followed the stream, so let's check her footprints to make sure she's headed downstream, and then get back to the garage to  wait for the B***H to arrive.” After verifying the woman's direction, Donny headed towards the truck parked up on the dirt road.

Meanwhile, Biddy was curious about the helicopter she witnessed disappear into the hillside. “Wow, what was that?” She wondered, nearing a large metal grate almost obscured by some fake bushes. “Maybe that's a way to get inside.” Using a broken tree branch, the Deputy pried open the grating, and lowered herself into the resulting dark tunnel. After crawling along the ventilation shaft for several minutes, her ears heard voices in the distance. “Sounds like foreigners.”

“I suggest we leave them here in the lab, and when they awake, those puny leather straps should prove no major obstacle. If they are superheroines, that is.” Colonel Asphyxia suggested his little test.

“And if they get free, what then Colonel? General Anesthesia asked for a way to control the real Wonder Lady and Wonder Lass.

Biddy peered through the vent, gazing down on the weird scene, not unlike some Sci-Fi comedy film. “Could this be a movie? It can't be real.” She nearly laughed out loud at the characters. General Anesthesia dressed as some foreign dictator, complete with a whip. Colonel Asphyxia with a black handle bar mustache, wearing a camouflage uniform and red beret, looking like a double for Che. Then there was the token female, dressed in a black blouse unbuttoned to show her extensive cleavage, short tight black thong that clung to her cheeks like a second skin, black mesh stockings, and black spike heel boots. As if that weren't enough black she had shinny raven black hair that went halfway down her back, with bangs that nearly covered her evil looking eyes. The scene was complete with the two comic book heroines lying unconscious and in dire peril. She continued listening intently.

“I have arranged a surprise for the young ladies, General. So let us retire to a more comfortable setting to await the result of our little test.” Colonel Asphyxia led the way out of the lab.

Biddy watched the small group leave and then scanned the room. “There's a phone over there on the wall.” Biddy loosened the vent cover and then dropped down to the floor. “I'll untie the lady's first, and they can help get us back up through the vent.

Meanwhile Jasper and Donny pulled into the gas station, parked the truck, and then headed down the path towards the stream. “Maybe she's already passed here.” Jasper worried. “After all we were out for a while.”

“Shut up and sit over there.” Donny said impatiently.

While the two mountain men got into position, Barbara moved hastily along the gravel shore of the stream, constantly looking for some signs of people, such as a house, a road, some smoke from a fire...anything. Then she spotted something that chilled her to the bone. “No,,it can't be.” Just above the rim of the hill the young woman saw a rusted oval sign 'ABC Garage'. “I'm back where I started.” Sitting on a large boulder, she started to cry, until something landed beside her, a small dart. “Oh...dammit, they're here.” Jumping to the ground the woman dressed as Bat Broad ran for the cover of the trees, but stopped when Jasper stepped out from behind a large pine tree. Her hands flew in he air, and she turned to run in the opposite direction. “UUNNGGHH!!” A sharp pain surged through her head, as her eyes bulged through the slits in the cowl mask. She never felt her body sink to it's knees, and she stayed erect for a long moment, as if frozen in time. “UUGGGHH!” Another wicked blow to the back of her head ended all feeling, and Bat Broad slumped face forward onto the leaves.

“How'd that feel, honey?” Donny sneered at the unconscious woman lying helpless at his feet.

While that was taking place, Biddy was in the lab hastily unstrapping the two women dressed as superheroines. “C'mon ladies, please wake up, we gotta get outta here.” She then went over to the phone, but upon picking up the receiver, she heard a woman's voice ask. “Is that you Doctor Somnambulis?”

“Uh oh, it's not an outside line. Uh no..this is nurse Sleepytime, I was looking for the Doctor.” She tried to play along, so as not to alarm the woman on the other end.

“I'll try to page him, and let the Doctor know you want him.” Was the surprising response.

The Deputy quickly hung up and went back to the two women, who were beginning to stir.

“Doctor Somnambulis, you're wanted in the lab.” Boomed the female voice over the speaker.

“What?” Colonel Asphyxia was startled by the announcement. “That'll mess up things if he goes back to the lab.” Picking up the phone he asked. “Brenda, why are you paging Doctor Somnambulis?”

“Nurse Sleepytime wants him in the lab, sir.” The female replied.

“We don't have a nurse Sleepytime.” The Colonel slammed down the phone, went over to the desk and switched on the monitor. After what seemed to be an eternity the screen lit up showing an empty lab with two empty tables. “What the....?”

“Is there a problem, Jed?” Asked the General, who was sipping his glass of bourbon.

Without responding the Colonel left the room, ran down the long corridor, and burst into the lab to see two empty tables with straps dangling from their sides. “Where the 'H' did they go?”

Biddy led the two dazed heroines through the vent to the exit. “Is everyone okay?” She asked, looking back at the two women struggling to stay awake. “We'll be there in a few minutes.”

Meanwhile, Jasper and Donny carried the limp Bat Broad up the hill to the garage, but upon getting there Donny dropped the woman's legs as he stared at the empty chairs. “Son-of-a-B****”

“All three of them are gone.” Donny walked around in circles. “It ain't gonna be long before the Sheriff gets here. “Tie that one and toss her in the truck, while I go to the house and get some things. We gotta get outta here.” He headed towards the old house, leaving Jasper still holding the red head.

“It's the Aliens what's got 'em.” Jasper thought. “I told Donny about them Aliens I saw, when the hill opened up, but he won't believe me.” Tying Barbara with some of the hemp from the garage, he tossed her limp body in the back of the panel truck, and then carried his tranquilizer rifle towards the hill. “There's somebody over there.”

Biddy crawled out of the ventilation shaft, and then helped the two dazed heroines out. “Rest for a minute, while I check to see if anyone's searching for us.” She started towards the old house, and saw Jasper sneaking up from the side of the garage. There was no way she could warn the other two, so she hid behind a big oak tree to watch the man's progress.

“Are you alright, Dru?” Wonder Lady struggled to her feet, not realizing she had come into Jasper's line of sight.

“There's Wonder Lady. What's she doin' up there?” Jasper aimed his rifle and fired....'Phhhtttt'

“Owww.” Feeling a sharp pain in the side of her leg, Diana stumbled backwards, as a wave of dizziness overcame her. She felt the sore spot, and pulled out a tiny projectile. Unable to speak, she tried to make gestures, but was too confused to make any sense.

“What's the matter, Diana?” Dru climbed to her feet, grabbed her sisters shoulders to steady the weaving heroine, and leaned her against one of the trees. “Shake it off.” Dru said, thinking Wonder Lady was having difficulty from the drugs they'd both received earlier, and Wonder Lady was incapable of communicating that she was feeling the effects of a tranquilizer dart. “Ouch..wha..washh..tha..uhhhh.”

Jasper's second shot caught Wonder Lass in the left shoulder, a spot she couldn't reach. “Where's that Deputy?” He looked around, only to have the young policewoman charge, knocking him to the ground. As the two of them rolled around trying to get the best of each other, the heroines were having trouble staying erect.

Back in the lab, Colonel Asphyxia was about to sound a general alarm, when the General stopped him. “You can't do that. The Feds are scouring the area for the Deputy's body.” He turned to the gorgeous raven haired beauty. “Give me your analysis, Lullaby.”

“Well sir, the women were too far gone to free themselves, so they must've had help.” She carefully scanned the room. “The Colonel has the door booby trapped. I suspect it's some kind of electrical device that will incapacitate, but not kill. Thus they didn't escape that way.” Lullaby paused for effect, and then stated her conclusion, while pointing at the ceiling. “A third party entered through the vent, freed the prisoners, and then helped them into the ventilation duct, where the three of them crawled to freedom.”

“Very good Lullaby. Bring them back.” The General turned to face the Colonel.

While outside the underground bunker, The escaped prisoners were fighting the two mountain men. “Ooohh..not again..ooohhh” Wonder Lady tried to step away from the tree, but weaved a couple steps, and then her body relaxed, sending the stunned heroine sprawling onto the ground.

Dru watched her big sister fall, and tried to go to her aid, but the drug had done its work. “Uuunnnnn...sooo..weak..can't stand..uup.” She stumbled to her knees, reached out her arms, and then collapsed face forward onto the damp leaves.

Meanwhile Jasper had gotten the upper hand, as he straddled the helpless Deputy Biddy, and began to strangle her. “GGRRRGGG! HELP...I CAN”T BREATHE!” Biddy's mind cried out for air, but her lips only emitted a horrible gurgling sound. She could feel the life draining away, and knew this was the end.

Suddenly Jasper felt a female hand on his head, causing him to release his grip on the Deputy. “What's happening?” He tried to look up at the intruder, but his mind became confused, and his muscles wouldn't respond. “Let go a meeee.” Jasper became very tired, and his thoughts evaporated in a maze of colors. All he could do was listen to the humming of a female voice, not being able to discern a particular tune, but totally entranced by the sound.

“Time for you to sleep now.” Lullaby removed her palm from Jasper's head and allowed the man to slump sound asleep to the ground. She then looked over at the two heroine bodies lying unconscious a few feet away. “The General will be pleased.” Unfortunately the tall sexy villainess ignored the Deputy, thinking that Jasper had neutralized her. “Owww! Damn..what was that?” She slapped the side of her neck, trying to swat the bug that stung her. Catching sight of Biddy out the corner of her eye, Lullaby turned to see the woman holding a rifle.

“I don't know who you are, but I don't really think you're a friend.” Biddy watched the woman in black make a menacing move in her direction, so fired the rifle once more.

“Oooohhh..never..felt like this be...ooohhhh.” Lullaby's vision dulled, and her legs felt rubbery. “This can't be happening...she's not even a superheroine.” The sexy raven haired villain sank to her knees, as Biddy's image became so blurry it blended with the background. “Ooohh..help..meee..the General will kill meee..ooohhh.” Lullaby lay sprawled out on the ground moaning softly for a few minutes, and then she went limp and silent.

Biddy's head snapped to the side in the direction of a woman screaming at the top of her lungs. “Who is that?” She wondered, and then saw Donny run from the house to the panel truck, throw open the rear door, and pull on the bound legs of the red headed woman she initially tried to save. Biddy shook her head. “This can't be real. I must be dreaming.” Then as if to confirm her thought, the hill opened up, and a strange looking helicopter rose from the hole to soar high in the sky and disappear.

Later, at the Sheriff's office, Biddy had told her boss about the hill. “Tell me again about the Alien spacecraft.” The Sheriff asked his young female Deputy, who had seemingly risen from the dead with two local men and a sexy foreign woman in custody. “You say there's a whole city underground, where the ABC Garage is on Rte 10.” He looked at Lullaby. “This one is guilty of saving your life? How many years do you think she should get for that?” He undid the cuffs. “Sorry ma'am, you're free to go.”

The whole adventure was too incredible for anyone to believe. The two superheroines had disappeared, so no one would corroborate her tall tale. The red head only knew about Jasper and Donny trying to kidnap her, and the Sheriff wouldn't even investigate the underground complex. Biddy sat with her head in her hands, actually wondering if it were all a dream, until she overheard the Sheriff on the telephone.

“Don't worry General, my Deputy won't be a problem.”

The End??? Perhaps Wonder Lady and Wonder Lass will be a problem
