A twitter follower asked me a very good question. Will Forbidden Zone members get the paid content from Patreon?
I hadn't thought of that. Yes was the answer. SHC members are the pinnacle of superheroines in peril fans.

FIRST THINGS FIRST!
I normally update the site's front page on Thursdays or Fridays when I have an announcement or offer. I needed to do it today though
because there's a special offer and I didn't want you "SHC Site Only" folks to miss out since I'm going to announce it on Twitter as well.
The first 10 people that donate on the Patreon page will be able to request a CGI image of any of my superheroines you've seen created in Poser.
Even if it's only a $1. There will probably be many images generated since setting up an image requires many test renders.
Depending on what it is... the images will be posted in the appropriate areas.
Very tame... Patreon. Mildly violent and/or erotic... SHC Free Area & Twitter. Super extreme... the member's area.
Patreon advises I wait until the charge goes through (1st of the month) before giving rewards. So you'll have time to think of what you want.
I already have my first patron (who will be getting lots of cool images). So you might want to hurry.
You don't have to request a special image if you don't want to. I know some people would rather not communicate about our obsession.
You'll have to contact me about your request. I never initiate contact for that reason.
DONATIONS ARE ANONYMOUS. NO ONE WILL KNOW YOU DONATED.

Patreon use and what's in it for you?
Patreon will be the "tame" quadrant of the SHC Empire. A place where fans that really love my superheroines but don't want to see them
destroyed can get many images of them as pinups or acting heroically. It is adult so there will be some nudity and little bits of peril. As I said, very tame.
Patrons will be able to vote on who they want to see and what types of scenes.
"Fuck you, DanO.. I'm not going to just GIVE you money!" I hear that! But if you love the characters you'll want to bookmark and stop by
Patreon once in a while to get many free images that will be posted over there.

Isn't Patreon basically begging... but on a global scale?
That's kind of what I thought. Then I saw a video of the Patreon creators explaining why they made the site.
During the renaissance rich aristocrats and merchants would be patrons of artists they liked. The didn't even necessarily buy their work.
They just loved what an artist was doing and gave them money so they could keep doing it. It was for pride definitely but they also got to feel like
they were helping with the creation of great art. Hundreds of years later we've been able to enjoy the works of those artists because they did that.
"Wow." I thought. That's a great point. If I had extra money like I have had in the past, I'd feel pretty good donating a couple bucks to a few artists I love.
And at that point I realized it may be a good idea even for my sick and twisted (delightfully so) brand of art.
Don't get me wrong! The capacity of humans to rationalize their behavior and delude themselves is endless.
But I thought it would be worth a try.

What made me decide to do it, and where should it end up?
As most of you know, we lost our credit card processor a few months ago. So I went from one day having a steady-ish income to ZERO!
People tend to get a little panicky when that happens. Not me, really. Chaotic change invigorates me.
But I did wrack my brain as I tried to think of ways to generate money so I could keep creating and destroying superheroines for a living.
Patreon was definitely an option so that was on my list of things to try and I investigated it.
If I get enough patrons I will turn the Patreon page into SHC Lite. At a certain donation level, which I haven't decided on ($5 or $10)
there will be regular weekly updates of SHC superheroines acting heroic, pinup type shoots and nudity (I think voyeuristic).
Patrons will be able to decide where I actually take it through polls.
